  1. http://www.theandroidsoul.com/enable-auto-brightness-mode-on-xperia-s-app/

Btw i think you paid too much with 27k, i posted couple of pages back how to get it for under 24k

Paid too much, i thought i got a nice deal.. actually i haven't paid for it yet it can be cancelled , can you give me the link or page number perhaps where you said i can get it under 24k

    that would be great

    27k

Don't laugh dude.. if you know to get a better deal than this then SHARE don't Mock

  2. Its a decent phone if the price is right, but i would not recommend some 1 to shell out 28-30K for it.

The few irritating things tht i noticed about the phone:

    1. No stable images- it has a great camera, but the chances are you are going to have blurry images most of the time.

    2. No auto brightness, it might not be a deal breaker for many, but it is for me. Why would Sony completely ignore it is beyond me. Yesterday i checked it, and it was not present even in Ion.

    3. The back case will start coming out loose just in few days.

    4. The three touch sensitive buttons below the glowing bar are a complete hit and miss.

These are the only ones i can remember of. Also, the games use to crash a lot on the phone(tower defense in particular). however, i dont know whether the problem was with android or phone.

Okay, blurry images - it has Image stabilization and auto focus feature in it and i have checked out some videos as well

auto brightness won't be a problem for me

the back case would be the biggest problem if you're right, my friend uses xperia u and it's been like more than 3 months haven't faced a problem in that model, hope this won't either

i am aware of the capacitive touch.. it'll get used too

And for games i am not buying this phone for games, i have some better options for that (No Offence)

    Thanks for your review Godspeed

  3. it's a great phone, don't worry.

    Pheeewww... Thanks bro.

It's a great phone. It's a eye turner for sure. Just beautiful.

How much are you getting it for?

One of my colleague got Xperia U .. Looks good with sensitive touch and great features

    Getting it in 27k

  4. Don't buy the xperia s unless you are getting some kind of deal on it, have used it for approx 3 weeks and its the most dumb smart phone I ever used.

The windows phone was Samsung foucs, it was a good phone but has now started dying :( . I have got a decent deal on the HTC one x, so most likely would use for 6 months and then get a lumia 920 when the price is affordable enough.

Btw the native navigation app of the one x is all kind of awesomeness

Man you making me worry, i already ordered the phone it'll be here in a day or two .. reviews were good everywhere, can you tell why you felt it a dumbest phone ..?? what were the cons. (by you)

  5. My colleague has it. It's a very nice phone.

Only thing I disliked about it, even though the screen is 4.3inches, the phone is as big as S3.

Apart from that, it's a very nice and beautiful phone.

Thanks buddy, there are positive reviews everywhere.. Guess i'll go for that

  6. Why do you say it's overpriced? It's at par with all the other devices having the same innards.

    S2 is last gen.

What do you do with all that power when all you have is a 480 x 800 screen. Xperia S is 720 p screen. That itself is worth paying 28k for.

Right Wolfy .. what to do with that processor if you don't have the right hardware, in fact S3/HTC 1 X (So called best phones now) lack hardware which Xperia S covers it .. can run upto 100 apps at a same time without LAG (common who wants to run that much of apps at a time), and with the right hardware you don't regret anywhere .. Sony's are badass in tech. zone .. :threatenlumber:

  7. Depends on what is your usage.

If you do the normal Texting, Internet Browsing and casual gaming stuff, then this phone should be good enough.

The capacitive buttons, you would soon get used to it.

If you don't mind a uglier look , you can always go for Galaxy S2. It's more powerful and has much much better community support.

S3 and One X are one generation ahead so there's no point comparing them to Xperia S.

Quad core they are yes, but if you search and try to compare not much difference in other elements

it is being compared everywhere, one of the powerful device from Sony

S2 was never my option .. outdated

  8. Beautiful device..But not worth the MPR..

Get it if you can mangae it for 23-24k..

This device is compared to HTC ONE X and S3 which costs more than 30k, a bit over priced i guess

S3 looks are quite good and HTC ONE X have better navigation .. this phone have all these

There are only two probs. i have noted so far is bottom 3 capacitive may be unresponsive some times have to press twice if you have big thumbs

and the other is battery (the same old problems in android phones)
