I suggest to atleast power level 1020 to take participation in raids otherwise you'll have a tough time and others won't accept low level players. Do other activities and complete bounties for powerful engrams. Nightfall, Gambit and Crucible will be your options here Do heroic public events to get engram drops fast. Other activities like Adventures, Lost Sectors, Contact are also good options to get high level drops.

Also get one of the most annoying guns in PVP and great PVE gun for clearing adds with decent amount of dps. Witherhoard

So 70$ to play one game which exactly the same cost Sony and others are asking for one game which can take either 20 or 200 hours and on the other hand a library full of games which you can choose in your 7 months of life, change if you didn't like the game. Also after few years if you're playing on a console it's gonna take 10 to even 15 min to start a game, like it's happening with me on PS4 (not exclusives yet) so I guess the guy who has one hour everyday to play will be pissed like crazy
