  1. Okay, now that the stupid-a*s modem that BSNL gave me went kaput, I'm looking to buy a new modem-router. Please give me some suggestions!

PS: Primary usage would be high speed downloads. And yes, I'll be connecting my PS3 as well. Budget is somewhere between 1500 to 2500 bucks!

  2. our team is at its very best, only 2 changes required.. Sehwag-Ishant out and Rahane/Dhawan-Dinda In...

Ishant bowled well yesterday and today. Especially the opening spell in the morning was probing! Of course, he just cant bowl good in patches and expect to be retained in the team. He needs to consistent..

  3. Too good..

Also fllow devops_borat on twitter for awesome oneliners around devs..

BTW, anyone knows which serial/movie is this gif from. Have seen this around many times and it feels like I've seen the movie but can't put a finger to it.

I think it is a scene from Penelope..

  4. While it's important to take advantage of home conditions, it is also important not to alienate the fast bowlers. There should be at least one or two pitches where the pacers can get some bounce and swing the ball..

The way things are right now, new players like B.Kumar would never know what it takes to bowl on green pitches.. When they travel, they take some time to get used to the conditions, by which time, the series is already lost.

PS: I'm wondering what the MRF Pace Foundation (Chennai) teaches the fast bowlers. All they give for international matches are square turners. That's....ironic!

  5. Clarke just needed something to save his face and blamed it on the pitch. If you know the pitch is a "dustbowl", why the hell do you wanna sweep the spinners? As far as I can remember, more than 4 Oz batsmen fell sweeping (Could be more). That's poor shot selection and application.

Sachin trusted the bounce on the very first ball he faced on Day 5. He's generally apprehensive and tentative when he comes out to the middle, leave alone coming out to the middle on Day 5.
