sbi cashback gives a flat 1.2% after the forex fees (online transactions only) using it on linode currently

Cashback card has 3.5% markup + GST, total markup = 4.13%

    5% cashback, net = 0.87%

You won't get cashback on markup + GST and if you are getting it, I wonder how long it will last.

HDFC Infinia/DCB/Regalia had a Global Value Program I don't know if is still active these days. One had to enroll for it and pay R.s 100/200 I think and there was a welcome bonus and 1% cashback on international transactions both online/offline.

    Still available. 300+GST a year, 1% extra cashback upto 1000/month i.e. 1L spends a month.

They sent me fake M&S shirts, man. My only challenge was the fit, and I went to nearest M&S store to get them checked, and they pointed out slight changes in logo etc when compared to in house stuff. Super sneaky.

Just stopped using Myntra from that day.

Yeah, such scenarios are very common.

Again, commingled inventory playing the bane. Really depends on luck.

Borderline impossible to find differences between fake and legit just by looking.

Yes. I don't trust FK or Myntra to supply anything genuine in clothes. Multiple bad experiences with shirts etc. Just stopped using them.

Not really. When it comes to shoes, one can figure out the difference but not by everyday people, have to be a legit sneakerhead.

A friend of mine has gotten 3 legit shoes from FK before but anyway, I don't trust FK while Myntra is fine, another friend bought Air max 90s and they are legit.

There are better alternatives than the zero forex cards. Even a LTF IDFC Wealth card will give you a few 0.xx% back after the forex fees. And many other cards will make even more. And no issue of having to load the card/block cash etc. And better dispute handling/loss protection which is even more important for foreign transactions.

    True.

A paid decent CC can get you much more. Obviously mileage varies.

Max was saying post race that second red flag was unnecessary. Although I'm not supporting anything, just saying.

Max as a driver leading the race can have his own opinion and there will be a slight bias in it. One can make case for/against that 2nd red flag.

I am talking about the first one where Albon went off and gravel was on the tarmac and affected Russel adversely. That was warranted but that's what pseudo fans are going after.

Racing car here is the fastest car on the grid ala the 7 year domination car

not to mention #TeamLH posting the ‘over the line Capstappen’ give win to lweis when they have no idea on the box rules

That is really stupid, the way people are saying Verstappen was out of line. Lewis has done that on 100s of races. These new age fans are plain dumb.

Any experience with Asics Nimbus 25/Kensei/SuperBlast/Meta?

I am looking to replace my UB4s and React 2s.

UB22 (not sure how UB23/Light line up) for the first replacement but not sure about the 2nd, heard a lot about the Asics.

Citywalk store doesn't have all the options to try while the New Adidas/Nike stores covers the rest.

Not looking for any react sole, can give ZoomX a try.

Vaporflys are a no go for everyday use.

Guys, address change application for DL in Delhi has been pending on approval of endorsements since 24th Jan.

Have raised grievance, tried Twitter. Nothing works.

    Where to escalate this?

    Bump.

  10. So many pseudo fans have risen after the last 2 seasons. These guys know nothing about F1 and how regulation cycles work but still act like experts.

One women is literally posting everywhere that if Lewis can do this with a "normal" car then imagine what he can do with a "racing" car. Lol, what do you mean by a "normal" car?

He had a racing car for 7 years!

While other person is posting how FIA wants more drama and conveniently thinks that debris on the track is not a good reason for red flag.

I have a 42K Medical expense monthly. I am currently paying via UPI but pressurising merchant to allow me to pay via HDFC DCB CC so that I can roll the money more effectively and get some rewards points.

DCB offers 5 rewards points for every 150 rs, Is there any other card in market which I can target? Asking @KunjanPSD and other specifically.

The merchant is resisting with 2% charges, I gave him an earful with RBI's link. Have to buy from him (only reseller), any other "innovative" way to solve this? I can still recover 1% from rewards points as such.

2% is obnoxious and if the merchant accepts CC then she/he is not supposed to charge extra for it, obviously it doesn't pan out in reality. Try to haggle and get it to 1%.

You can get Magnus (4.8% RR in terms of airmiles with 1 Mile = 1Re assumption). But then again, you have to decide if airmiles makes sense for you or not.

Otherwise DCB gets you 1Re/point on smartbuy bookings.

Ask the merchant about the MCC code, if it is not one of the exclusions in SBI cashback then you can use that instead.

Hey I had a question I was hoping someone might have the answer to?

Want to pay off a 3.25L premium on a TATA AIA insurance I have going, and I want to use an Axis Vistara Signature card as that gives best points/expense.

Unfortunately the limit on the card is 2.5L and an email to customer service has informed me that the limit cannot be raised until a year has passed since the last time?

Is this correct? if so I would have to do it using an HDFC Regalia, and that gives me half the points (I convert to Club Vistara points) as the axis card.

Regalia wouldn't help you since HDFC has capped Insurance points at 2000 per day.

There is an ongoing offer which can get you 1000 extra bonus points but that was at first come first serve basis, so wouldn't be valid now.

Signature will be your best bet, check if you can pay the fees in parts.
