Minoxidil doesn't work for everyone and mostly when it does, it works on the crown of the head. And your hair will start shedding again once you stop using it.

It won't happen unless it's installing or copying over some more data. It seems normal to me but given XSX so quiet, Sony could have done better.

Anybody used MM PS4 to PS5 upgrade? Does this update takes care of that?

Did you get the option to update it to Ps5 version in-game or by clicking on the three dots on the Ps5 home screen next to the Spiderman tile?

Because till yesterday, that option wasn't there.

I was talking about the drive noise, not the fan noise. You are confusing the two. Intermittently drive spins up to full speed if using a disc and that's when it is louder than the Pro's fans, not Pro's drive. That's what it seems like.

Otherwise the console is silent.

For sure the reviews will be out by then. Already a few videos are floating online with HDTVtest covering them. Brightness is supposed to reach 1000nits without increasing burn-in risk. 

These new panels are the reason I settled with x90H last year. Come 2022 models and I will get the latest one.

I mean I fired up Yakuza 0 and on the PS4 upon inserting the disc, it would almost instantly boot up. On the PS5, it showed some install percentage on the dashboard and in the downloads and install it was actually showing the full 23GB being downloaded. WTF? 

 

Now added The Last of Us Part 2 and first disc was done in 20 mins and inserted play disc and it allows me to play but I check the download and upload tab and it shows All data 77.345GB and it seems like this data is being installed at my net speed. 

 

I'm confused. Is it reading from the disc & it's that slow or am I missing something here?

Download and upload tab shows the data which is being copied from the disc as well. It does seem like it's downloading the whole thing but it is not. Most probably you will be seeing 2 things progressing, one of those will be the copying thing and the other will be the update file.

Stupid design decision.

I am seriously not fan of this UI, so many shortfalls with so much space not being used.

 

Also, I was updating GOT earlier on and the update file was 5.7GB, out of which 85X MB got downloaded and then it stopped. Deleted the whole thing and tried again, this time update was of around 600MB. But my ACT connection shows that 17GB of the data was downloaded.

I am not sure which is reporting the data wrong.

I had a Ps4 Pro and the drive was never this loud. Ps4 Pro's fan during GOW was certainly less loud than this drive at full tilt.

Deleted the update file and the console started working normally again.

Added the download back and it's downloading but at a measly 16Mbps on my 200Mbps connection, on LAN. Test network shows full speed and couple days ago was even downloading at full speed.

Sony needs to fix this thing.
