Am I alone in absolutely hating the white outer plates on this ps5??!! Can’t wait for custom plates to release

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dbrand sent out a survey for the plates, options ranged from 40-90$ for plates, then 5-25$ for middle-parts skin, followed by 5-25$ for shipping charge.

Whatever they end up costing, they won't be cheap. And then customs on top of it.

Ahh yess. Singapore, EU, and Aus/NZ were within budget and comfort, but it doesn't look like they'll be tourist friendly this summer sadly.

If you see any updates or think of something which works, do tell me as well. Winter is alright by me but I'm really free in the summer so would be nice.

By the way, were you planning to go with friends or family?

2020 was supposed to be a family trip to Australia while 2021 was with friends, place wasn't decided but we were thinking about Japan.

I wouldn't even mind going on a trip alone though. I intend to travel a lot in coming years.

Opinions about going abroad for a trip this summer?

Not sure what countries are gonna allow tourists, or even if its safe to go but I don't think I'll get much free time after this August, so wanna see if I can make it happen.

If you do think its feasible, any suggestions as to what could work?

I am the same boat. I had plans for 2020 and 2021 before Covid struck and have been trying to come up with a plan for summer especially because it's the last one before work starts.

As far as I have searched, almost impossible to visit Singapore, England, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.

You can go to Canada, Ireland but with huge expenses for quarantine, same goes for France and neighbouring EU countries.

US downright impossible if you don't have visa because you won't get one right now and also new order demands quarantine.

Other asian countries like Thailand are closed off as well.

Only option left is Dubai. That's open, doesn't require quarantine. But in summer, that place is hot, hot, hot.

I think best case scenario will be 2021 Christmas season. I don't see countries changing their policies any sooner.

Regarding safety, well, gotta wait and see.

I absolutely second this. After playing RDR2 maxed out on a 3070 at 1080p, the PS5 game visuals seemed a bit underwhelming for me. So far, I've tried, SM remastered, Miles and opening sequence of GoT.

Fifa21 was fantastic though, but that's probably because of the nex-gen version.

But now, got used to the PS5 though. And since I sold off the 3070 and stopped playing on PC mostly, so it's not jarring anymore..

Bhai kaise compare kar rhe ho, ek jagah 50k ka system and doosri jagah 50k ka gpu.

Ps5 or any console for that matter is for the comfort, pre-selected presets and more importantly, exclusives.

It's a Sony issue, nothing to do with Insomniac. Probably just need to "unlock" the EU discs for use on other-region PSN accounts.

Came across a tweet earlier where Sony replied to a guy saying "It's upto the dev". So I am not sure.

The MM disc mention "Licensed for sale in Europe, India and Russia". So it's an error where the DLC is not marked with the same region.

It is a region issue, if you make an UK account you will find it on the UK psn.

But yeah it is definitely an issue many people are facing the same in other countries as well, reddit is flooded with this issue.

Disc is of Region 2, which is the official one for India. So Insomniac/Sony has overlooked it from their end.

I suppose the main reason anyone would look at a UPS at all is because of inverter switchover delay. It's really annoying, and happens randomly for some reason.

Are there any inverters that don't have this delay? @Shantz @Bird Bird Bird or @kunjanp?

Try googling some Line interactive inverters (generally around 4-6ms delay). But if you want to completely eliminate delay then search for Online inverters. No delay but will cost much more.

    So was trying something different,

Instead of doing treadmill at the start,

is it okay to normal run from one end to another or do cardio exercises (like jump squats/lunges etc etc) in between every lifting set instead of resting or it will affect gains and be good for neither ?

    I enjoyed more this way.

    Answer these for yourself:

What is the use of rest periods between sets?

And are you really resting if you are performing some other exercises in that period?

Does it have any effect on your max. reps and sets?

M using 600VA one right now. It provides back up for TV, if i connect ps5 also to it then some heavy games like demon souls n ghost makes it go beeping however gts,etc work just fine along with TV.

Shouldnt 1100VA one be enough for TV and PS5. I just need the time to turn it off.

TV+Ps5 can reach 500-520W which is within range of 1100VA but TV can spike much higher and triggering the safety in the UPS. So better to have a decent headroom.

I just did the math, buying 2 separate 1100 va is actually cheaper than buying 1 1500va APC

Not sure whats extra in 1500va

BX1100C doesn't have the screen to show remaining capacity while BR1000G does. Comes out cheaper in the case of the former, plus you can get them cheaper offline.

But main thing is that you will have to make space for 2 UPS and in the long run, that won't be worth it. Atleast not in the neighborhood of 2 grand.

Does anyone have UPS recommendations for the PS5? Like what sort of a model should I select for it? Don't need to play on the UPS, should be enough to turn the PS5 off safely.

    Thanks in advance guys!

APC 1100VA if you using it just for the Ps5.

If you are using a TV and Ps5, 1500VA. Won't be that cheap though.
