Make a UK account on the same Ps5, upgrade on it and play on your main account. You can do buy SM RM on UK one too but that costs double.
Really don't know how people were able to get that option before, they must have had some other region's disc.

3D sound doesn't even need to be a PS5 feature. All games have positional audio as part of the sound design, so just buy whatever fits in your budget.
3D audio works on any set of headphones. Sony just pulled its setting out of the game and made it console wide and called it Tempest.

But then how people were able to see that SM RM upgrade costs 1k on PSN? That was before official copies launched in India, right? So they must have had different region's disc.

Only way is to get a UK account but then you will end up spending extra for SM RM.

Still intend to pursue Sony and demand an apology. Rishi and @HundredProofSam have been super helpful. As per Rishi, this mail and other complaints resulted in Sony initiating an audit on PS5 preorders and sales.

I meant using MM Ps4 disc to upgrade to MM Ps5 and then upgrading to get SM RM without using the UK account.
Anyway, there are quite a few people on reddit facing the same issue, not only in India. So I guess, Insomniac/Sony screwed it up.

Won't everyone make their invoice suddenly inaccessible then? Would be a shame if something happened to it
What if someone claims that they got the unit let's say a month from now? or in April? and don't have the invoice, this puts an upper limit in that case.

Yup, but it's only in the case if the invoice is missing otherwise it will be acc. to invoice date.

That's what it looks like.
Unless someone else can try as well because all of the Ps4 discs in India are of Region 2, afaik.

But I can always sell the Ps4 MM disc while UE will lose the value because of no code.

All of the other discs I bought are from Region 2 as well, no problem with DLC.

Quantum 800, no question. I mean, it's wireless with both BT and 2.4ghz functionality + ANC.
Steel Series prices are messed up in India, you might get it for less but then Quantum 600 still fares better.
