    Yes, on Smartbuy you get reward points close to 15%. I don't think there is even a cap on it (not sure). Diners get 10%. And Regalia now just gets cashback/discount worth of 5%, no points but with a monthly cap. If you can get just one card then Infinia is probably it.

    I haven't used their stuff but I have heard that some of their products like Rockerz 510, provide a good bang for the buck. Obviously people like us who are accustomed to high end products can't relate. And I just hate how company dishes such useless things out, just add another 500-1000 in the paycheck, lol.

    Mine is pretty much the same except my previous history with them has been just through a savings account and EMIs on DC. My salary also credits in HDFC but it's not a salary account. Salary won't be as high as yours. I just want Diners, better points and rewards on Smartbuy. Hopefully sometime soon.

    I think you are even eligible if you have 10L+ in savings or 15L+ in FDs. But you need to have 35L+ salary (afaik) and good credit history with the bank, even if the spends are not that high.

    I was assuming that you expect to spend 10LPA+ and for that kind of expenditure, especially on travels, you will end up earning benefits worth of 2-3L easily. So the Plat makes sense then. Not really for restaurants. Diners is being allowed again but not LTF afaik.

    If someone is ready to spend that much, why not just get Amex Platinum Charge Card? It's 60k+taxes but the value it offers is unparalleled. Right now Amex is banned though. Can't wait for my Regalia to be upgraded to Diners.

    72kg. But now I have gained fat around my belly, love handles and biceps. Can't really get the grip on it by working out at home. Although I have reduced down my intake for now.

    It's never enough right? I was in a similar shape as you but maybe like 5kgs under, before Covid. Now the gains are still there but there is a layer of fat because couldn't really keep it up at home.

    I have. RBK752 is similar and that's what mainly available in US as well. Available for 35k in India which is pricey. From US, you can get it for 26k. I would have gotten it too if I were able to source it. It does say 40+ devices but I don't think all the 50+ devices will be hitting it at one moment which is what I think they mean by the word "concurrent". RBK50 going for 19k right now.

    Ubiquity is too overkill for my use and with all the other expenses coming up, a bit too pricey as well. I will mostly just get RBK50 when the sale hits.

    You can do with Dual band but it adds in latency and congestion.
