Multiple director levels. But anyway, disclosures are what I was looking for and they didn't give any. I will put the capital again if the management is forthcoming and is able to change the perception, even if I have to buy above my sell price. Otherwise, not interested.

Basically Agrochem and Pharma/API biz. In order to safe few crores the person in charge resorted to unsafe disposal of chemical byproduct which led to death of 6 people. Company released a statement saying the tanker which left their facility was different from the one which was caught which is true but the contractor they chose was really shady and didn't even have the right licences. Now the MD, who is responsible for this, didn't show up even after a notice and is currently absconding. The same MD used to be present in concalls as well. I don't think this was done by the upper management, probably MD and the few others but company has been tight-lip with no disclosures which is really a red flag for me. Says a lot about their culture and not just the accused people. Hikal had 8% allocation in my PF and now is somewhere between 3-4%. I do think company will eventually sort this out but till the time company gives clarity, fair disclosures and assurances about the integrity of their current contracts, won't jump back in. Sequent, Strides and now Hikal. These three have taught me a lot in last one year. Fortunately, didn't book loss in either of them.

I actually do think this will pass over but I didn't want to have a very big allocation. Will evaluate when management actually discloses information.

And hamara kya? Mere toh lag gye. I still have some buffer, hopefully this incident doesn't affect their contracts. Update: Have reduced my position in Hikal by more than 50%. The lack of disclosures are troubling me and I didn't want to just avg. down. Tracking position left with avg. of 200, will enter back in future if things turn better.

We need a new car because now 2 people need to get out of the house but the usage will still be minimal, moderate at best. I would spend that much money if there was an actual, frequent use of the car and I do like Octavia a lot but it won't make sense to make that investment. And anyway, 25L is the limit for my mom, especially even since I started working. Anything over that, I will need to put in and that's not what I want to do, lol. Should have gotten the car before I got a job. My go to choice was Civic only. My friend owns it and it's a delight. Was even looking for any unsold inventory but couldn't find it. New City is great but I like Slavia better. Right now Hector, Slavia and Kushaq are on my try list. Will check out all of them or even some other suggestions before buying.

Yup, have a Seltos in the house and its pretty darn good. Would recommend it. Safety rating is the only reason for me to not consider Seltos. It's better than MG Hector for sure when it comes to other areas but can't really compromise on safety.

Charging is not favourable yet because of screwed up parking. And I don't want to use an adapter for something which can come built in.

As expected, beating all around. PF has been bleading with Hikal, Laurus, Ingrevia and Mastek taking a thrashing. Coming back to what I said earlier, it's time to build quantity, post Q4FY22 profits will show up. Hard to see Hikal though. CG issues will plague this for quite a while.

What are you doing about these? Going ahead with high value SIP? I am thinking to just invest in Kotak's Nasdaq 100 fund. ICICI's fund has a higher expense ratio. US stocks have really been beaten. Compounders like Zoetis and Thermo Fisher down almost 20%. Waiting for Roblox, Meta, Rocket Labs and Planet Labs to bottom out. That's my pick but direct US equity is tedious.

I will start checking out Hector, Harrier and Slavia. If Civic 2022 would have been released then it would have been no question purchase for me. Thanks.

I mean, we as a family don't really invest in depreciating value assets (for the lack of better words). Typical Govt. job, academic background situation. Need a decent car because two people need to get out the house now, the new one being me. So targetting 20-25L. Wouldn't mind spending less, lol. I don't see any value in going more than that. Until and unless there is a real tangible benefit in going over that, not gonna spend more. That's why Honda Civic was checking all the points. I don't like Creta, hate the look. Taigun is really boring, interior wise. Tucson is gonna be closer to 30L. Can consider Slavia and Kushaq.

We won't be selling Polo, even after 10years it only has 23k kms, so you get the usage, lol. General city usage, don't expect it to run more than 10kms a day. Only on some occassions, maybe more than that. Space isn't a problem, majorly only 2 people will be in a car at once. Only thing I am looking for is a good sound system, a great console, Carplay/Android Auto which is really fluid (not sure if Indian options have wireless options?). The last one is absolutely the priority. Other than that, a decent mileage with good ride quality and experience. I am not even interested in Kia and Hyundai. Haven't tested Skoda ever but have heard horrible stories about the service situation. VW is really good but the hardly the console lives upto it. MG Hector is an option because my friend has one and likes it a lot plus has decent safety rating.

Go into the router settings and change channels for the 5ghz. Generally with it set to Auto, you shouldn't have this problem.

Shift far away devices to 2.4ghz and especially those which don't need that extra 50Mbps. Keep your 5ghz as lean as possible and only for high bandwidth devices.

Need suggestions for a new car as our Polo is no longer enough to service our needs. Either a sedan or a compact SUV like Seltos. I had Honda Civic in mind but it has been discontinued and not sure when the new version will come. A hybrid is what I am targetting. Let me know if there are any suggestions or if some new car is coming out soon.
