The 4K resolution translates to 3840 x 2160 pixels.
http://blog.gsmarena.com/asus-unwraps-its-pq321-31-5-inch-4k-resolution-monitor/
Full 4K and this is going to be expensive.

2560 x1600 translates to ~4096000 pixels on screen -- 4K.
-
This ain't 4K

Multiply 2560 x1440, what you get ~3.5K.
For full 4K we are speaking of 2560 x1600 resolution. This is what you get when you combine multiple monitors, the above resolution is what you get on a single 27" Achieva Shimian IPS panel.

The dealer gave a good offer on the Asus 770, so just gave the order for one.
Cool, what was the final quote from his end?
Thanks for the friend request, Cheers!
-
Thats less than a 1k difference between 3770 though, so go for this instead? Ill be finalizing my build today.
Motherboard would be more expensive and overall anything more than a quad-core is overkill for current generation of games.
Anyway, if it is Haswell you want, check these motherboards. Intel H87 / B85 motherboards @The IT Depot
Hope this helps, Cheerio!

The Saphire and Asus GHz models are above 32k as well right? (same site you mentioned) I only see the reference model at 30k or am I confusing it with something else?
True, they are tied at price, that is what I meant with when I mentioned that. Maybe if you can source the cards locally the price might go up or down on this accord.
Might still go with it for the higher memory. Though I doubt in the end this choice would matter much as both cards will likely perform equally well from the benchmarks Ive seen so far.
At 2K (1920 x1080) resolution you will not a lot of difference in performance, lack of memory will start showing when you end up in 4K (2560 x1440) resolution territory.
Both cards are strong and shall serve you flawlessly for the next ~2 -->3 years at Ultra to lower fidelities.
I'm not sure, because I've seen lot of bundle cards in local market. The guy at store has no idea and doesn't gives it unless you ask.
Only MD Computers in Calcutta is honouring the AMD Never settled bundle, don't think any other retailer is giving the codes for them.

I want different message tones for different apps like facebook, whatsapp, sms etc.
How can i do that in nexus 4?
Each application has a setting tab for that. It is very easy, e.g. in Whatsapp
Go into SETTINGS > Notifications > Change the notification tone according to message, broadcast and so on.
For SMS application
SETTINGS > Notification Tone (change tone)
For GTalk / Hangouts
SETTINGS > Sound (change tone)
Hope this helps, Cheers!

^^ Game bundles that are not available in India, so in the end pretty evenly matched.

All depends on OP's preference and pricing of respective components.
770 drivers are still in early stage.
And GTX770 drivers are not in a nascent stage, it is a GTX680 with spruced up clocks uses the same driver and performance visible is the max nVidia can squeeze out of those chips.
-
That price is for reference model. Plus, ASUS models are always priced higher (usually 2k-3k more in gaming grade cards than other brands from what I have seen).
Even ZOTAC! model that OP plans to get is going for ~32000/-. I would say a tight fight and nothing is really great about this card over the HD7970 which he can get for cheaper.
You will never see a stock version of this PCB until eVGA does not start retailing in India, then you will see the bone-stock GTX series cards.
-
Could be a high end model then. Ill ask for specific details, but most sites including nvidia's official news point at that range. Also Zotac's 770 is confirmed at 32k.
Okay, your call then, if it is retailing for that price.
The GTX660Ti was press-released with a price tag of ~18000/- and ASUS teased us with an INR ~20000/- model, then the same model when it reached the retail end metamorphosed with a ~23000/- asking price.
I would take all such press statements with a massive pinch of salt, if you doubt my prices please tally it with online retail sites, hardwire.in, The IT Depot (retailing same GTX770 ~33000/-).
-
Yeah, a few others confirmed about TW too.
The price point seems to be true though. Im from Ernakulam and the retailer was talking about Asus 770 2gb.
Retail listing on a hardware site (my source) -- hardwire.in. Don't think so the price tallies at that level.
-
E3 DEMO was running on PC with GTX 680.
Awesome.
The island that the demo's based on is twice the size of TW2's map.
More AWESOME!

Argh....sorry man...its a pain to follow all pages through mobile
No issues, just felt that you were doing it so. Cheers!
I think they want to disassociate it from DA2. Ha. Can't blame them.
So, silver-lining on the dark clouds, always. Huh! Hoping for good. 2014 is looking strong.
DA2 was NOT that BAD !!! Just that it couldn't surpass its own expectations.
It was a rushed job and it showed.
Hopefully BIOWARE is coming back to its senses now.
-
@Nikhil please stop posting videos that have already been posted.
They dropped the III from the title? Looks like its not a direct sequel to DA2
No mention of Dragon Age II in the above press-release either.

I was, but now I am Wolfy. The current Captain Fantastic aint me
Figured. Thanks again.
-
Thanks for the picture, Wolfy, I understand now.
P.S. -- Are you Captain Fantastic?
well until you know what you want, it's all cool.
Uh! Okay, Sir.

screenshot incoming...
Wilco, send payload.

On android, the people who are online they appear in full colour. The offline folks occur greyed out. Check it out.
Every contact (DP) in Hangout appears in full-colour for me.

Opening GTalk on desktop (as I type), half the folk are offline.
-
^You sound like Google's PR, Alpha. Not cool.
Well cannot help it, relaying what I know.
Already have been called an Apple hatzer, maybe this is the next level of evolution down that path.
-
Thanks again. I was leaning towards 770 because of the games I play (Total War, BF, Skyrim etc.), but not worth the price difference over the 7970.
I also play TOTAL WAR never noticed any appreciable difference with an AMD card at the heart of things.
Not so sure about SKYRIM and finally BattleField is a TWIMTPB title, if the GTX770 did not perform upto par here then nVidia scams big time. I think it already does.
So would the recommendation for the PSU change with the i7 and 7970? (prefer Corsair over CM). Also would appreciate suggestions for a good gaming kb + mouse.
No, the SMPS stays the same as long as you are looking at a single GPU set-up.
Ph3n0m is selling his Corsair TX v2 650W ~4500/-, I suggest grab that if possible.
edit: Retailer says the 770 is around 30k, will check and confirm.
Please, share it with me if possible, where are you based?
Make sure that guy is not confusing it with a GTX670.
For a good gaming keyboard and mouse, I suggest you look at the following options
MICE
- Cooler Master STORM Recon
- Corsair M60 Vengeance
- Roccat Kova[+]
- Logitech G500
KEYBOARDS
- Cooler Master STORM QuickFire Pro
- Corsair K60 / K90 mechanical keyboard
- TVS Gold mechanical keyboard
Hope this helps, Cheerio!

In GMail you can see a green bar underneath the contacts name, that indicates the status. But apparently for Android they are moving away from the "instant" messaging concept and leaving it at messaging, similar to SMS. Idiots.
Yes Hangouts was supposed to integrate various disparate messaging and IM applications on the platform, as of now it does not do a lot.

More on topic, here.

Vehicles now have an ammo limit (i.e primary gun on Abrams only has 6 shells) (will reload slowly over time, secondary gun does not seem to run out, only over heat )
What if you run out of it in the middle of a tank-v-tank?
Will aircraft also have this limit, so you fire off all your complement of rockets then you are nothing but a glorified flying machine gun?
