Y'know I could type out an essay about what an RPG really is. Because right now it seems like if a game has dialog wheels, loot, XP and skill trees it somehow becomes an RPG.
I would not mind that if you have the time.

No discount on premium upgrade if u already own BF1, even with EA sale going on.
EA never discounts premium, thought you long time supporters were already used to this.

^ They are well known for their support. =]

^ You were one of the first to get the eVGA card, would not be surprised if you got one of their surprisingly weirdly failing editions for this generation.

Need to pick up a laptop for work. Budget 50k.
Laptop will be running approx 10 tabs in browser out of which 2 tabs run spreadsheets, 2-3 local excel sheets with approx 2000-2500 entries, and will be mostly running for 10-12 hrs a day nonstop.
Desktop is out of the question as it will also need to be portable. I currently use an A8,4GB,1TB laptop.
Suggestions?
Check out these devices.
If you are open to notebooks based on AMD's APU platform like your last one, you can get it sorted under ~40,000/-.

what the *bleep* does that mean?

Weird sh*t or I'm too noob to understand.
If I'm using BSNL whenever I select Operations from the Operations screen or Quick Match I end up in EU region lobbies with full or nearly full matches (which is good.)
If I switch to RailWire 9 out of 10 times I end up on Asian servers where no matter what I do Operations is always empty.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening? I mean how does this region sh*t work where I'm always put in EU for BSNL and Asia for Railwire?
Routing in general, the most likely to answer to this query.

~snip~
I would like if they did some twisted meta narrative but seeing the trailer does not change my thought, just see what it could have been and what it will be.

EDIT: Holy sh*t my d=sginature looks pathetic for such a cool game. I need to get out of psnprofiles asap

Did someone punch her face?

I am in US so can't really buy Indian disc.

Monolith -- 65 days of Static (No Man's Sky OST)

No. I meant the devs canno't pull a stunt on console owners like making people download 20-25gb even after buying physical discs, even though the street dates are broken on console games more often than not. So in that case, it's like PC guys are being punished for the sins of console owners by being made to download hefty files even after buying physical

I guess premium experience on PC is what keeps people from getting pissed.

Kind of normalised to it. You know that Day One patch is a phenomenon so unless it is something as absurd as MGS V level bullshit, whether you have all files on disc or not, does not really matter.
If only PC owners had blu-ray drives as standard in their machines, shipping a game on 6-7 disks wouldn't be a logistical nightmare, especially when people expect it to be 999 rs.
Problem is the media itself would cost more than the sale price of the software at that point.
-
And you are based out of Bangalore?
How many years do you plan to keep this PC and would you be open to upgrades down the line (like adding RAM or a hard-drive)?
-
I could probably invest in an external graphics card in the future. Aargh

That will cost more than the cost of building a half-decent µATX build right now. What kinds of games do you want to play on the PC?
-
Yeah so basically only PC guys are being punished here because devs obviously can't pull that stunt with console owners

Not really, we have services like GoG for this reason while all you have on your side is what the company gives you. Tomorrow they revoke access to any games they want, you cannot even update your console hardware for fear of losing it.
Obviously if you are looking at AAA release scene it is more or less just as good or bad as you want to make it.

^ Again, control.
If I am not mistaken, Ghost Recon: Wildlands was leaked early last week in the Netherlands, people were streaming it on PlayStation 4's but no dice on PC. In this case, UBISOFT rolled with it to garner some positive press, under other circumstances dunno if we will be this lucky.

Why don't devs just put all the data on the disc and make it mandatory to register online for keys? What is the purpose behind making people download 30-40gb?
Digital copies allow more effective control over software distribution, prevents tampering in some cases and less embargo issues that sometimes happen on console.
Also, most PC's abroad are moving beyond optical media, and digital store-fronts are ubiquitous so there is a cost saving angle there. Consoles have the optical media thing because of their doubling up as a Blu Ray player in cases, although they are incompatible with older CD formats. =/

He must've got multiple reports by now. Probably banned forever.
Actually no. Lot of hackers get reported, they buy a key on the side and continue.
Alternately if they use injector based cheats, the current system cannot detect them unless they do ape-sh*t stuff like above and continuously flag themselves.

PS4 version is 45GB, expect PC to be in same ballpark.
Hmmm... Depends on the file structure, you generally do not have to download that large a file, unless you are SQUARE ENIX and your studios do not know how to push an update.
Anyway, can expect a 30GB download which is not desirable.
-
This is actually cool. 2000rs to 800-1000rs. I would prefer to buy it that way as no headache of resale. But it's a bitch to download 30-40gb. You have to factor in the time and bandwidth cost too.
Is this game that large?

That was a year or a year and a half into the life-cycle of the product and we all know why Hardline went on a sale. The game was haemorrhaging players like a bloody stump.
EA never discounts the Premium Pass like it has recently started with its games and one should not expect them to.
