    ^ Well that was the alleged aim of the system, obviously they still ran Punkbuster for actually banning anyone caught hacking.

     

    Injectors pretty much render everything useless though and now EA has complete control over the product, so even if you get it on PC there are not more than a handful of actual community run servers, which is a shame.

    As for men being bad guys, in a pre-historic society of hunters, i would have honestly expected a lot more rape and murder from them.

     

    Would have immediately turned half the audience away.

    ^ Because BattleLog was a worse, jankier mess than what we currently have. And BattleLog had zero role in hack-prevention as anyone could use script injectors to bypass it. In-fact come to think of it that is the worst aspect of BattleField 1, no clan wants to maintain servers because we have zero control in their ops, no custom servers, so everything is on EA and their data centre partners and if they do not have anything close to you, it is #GG.

    ^ Okay, cannot talk about your ISP. But give it sometime, I remember the initial days of BattleField 4 when I got it, used to end up in rounds where my score was ~2-49 or such because the other folks already had better spatial awareness and equipment than me, can be the same here.

     

    Try connecting to EU servers via the browser, I find them far better than all my time in SEA region.

    Friends is it me or Battlefield 1 has really bad connection and lots of hackers. Bloody when I shoot they get hit and that too with headshot but they don't die (I know it's a headshot because whenever I shoot if the hit is coloured in green means it's a headshot otherwise it's normal hit) and when they shoot at me. Only one shot and I die? That's too frustrating. I am really good on PS4. I was good on PC too when open beta had launched. So what went wrong since then? I did read lots of threads on ea website mentioning hacks etc. And I too believe it. Any fix? Or is it my internet connection which is bad?

     

    So what is your ISP and where are you connecting too?

    It's the connection. Hacking is virtually nonexistent on current gen consoles since the consoles themselves are secure.

     

    You know that is like the Apple folks who said we never get hacked and when there is a security breach Apple takes an inordinately long time to getting around to patch it.

     

    Lack of proof does not mean there is nothing, also, hacks are not based solely on hardware security. A hack can be someone using hardware modifiers like a keyboard + mouse instead of a controller, or injecting scripts, for example I do not know the veracity of this stuff but this exists,

    Point conceded that the situation is worse on PC, which is the reason I did not pick up the game but seriously a cursory Google search brings up a lot of interesting results.

    Yeh 1080 aur 1080 ti are different cards kya?....Ti ka kya matlab?

     

    I have 750 ti...so does it mean there is only 750 wala card also?

     

    Ti stands for Titanium, it is a suffix appended by nVidia to particular models that are the best possible variant of the base card, so, a GTX 1080Ti is the best possible variant of the GTX 1080. Earlier this was models which were based on the same silicon but now there is hardware level difference.

     

    Yes, there was a standard GTX 750 as well.

    NINTENDO releases a couple of ROM's (of old games from all generations) per month if I am not misinformed. There will be a couple of flagship NINTENDO titles like CarbonCore that will be ported over but apart from that not much.

    Few Questions:-

    Are there any other interesting games coming

    Is this device totally back wards compatible....meaning can i play all the games of nintendo available digitally

    Whats the indian scene like..launching or we have to buy without warranty only (import/grey)

     

    • There might be a couple usual suspects like Mario in the future, 3rd party wise pretty weak on the Western AAA front but good collection of titles from Japanese devs
    • Only ROM's released by NINTENDO officially, not all games
    • Everything is in the grey, NINTENDO does not know about India

    SE also increased the price :( People pls stop buying at these prices otherwise they will increase the price further.Do like Russians and Chinese people.

     

    Stop being a cry baby. It is getting to the point of being egregious now.

    any news on how the PC port for the game is? Not really sure which platform I should buy this for :fear:

     

    Platinum generally does acceptable PC ports and their framerate target has always been 60fps, I see no reason for them to botch this launch since they have experience on the platform from stuff like Transformers, Revenengance et al.

    Started this on PC. But game is unplayable for me. It freezes/hangs every few seconds.

    Not sure what the issue is. Is it the 1gb vram or dual core cpu?

    Game itself has been great so far. Played for one and half hours until after the baker family dinner scene.

    Graphics look like ps3 game maybe because am playing on low settings due to crappy pc but that's ok. Graphics don't really matter to me but the constant freezes is making me mad.
