  3. Ye thread padhne ke baad ajkal kuch bhi unusual dikhe to the first that comes into my mind is that it's supernatural. Even the bird that sits on my window A/C outside makes me think that it wants to say something. :D

Jokes apart, birds are bad omen.

But only if you believe in omens and stuff.

    Now here is another story.

My uncle (Mama Ji) told us about this incident once.

My uncle works in PWD (Aligarh) and his office is in the same premise as of the PWD Employees' Apartments (those yellow quarters with 1BHK).

So there was this new guy in his office who got the job of a Babu (clerk I guess), and he was also given a flat in the colony with the rest of the PWD employees.

This guy lived there for about 3 months and nothing happened. But on one Wednesday, two of his friends (from his village) came to spend the night at his flat. Both of them (the friends) had an interview for a post in the railways on Friday and so they came to stay at his place. The guy slept in his room while the friends made their beds on the hall's floor.

La that night, my uncle's colleague heard some noise in the hall. He raised his head and saw a figure going from the hall into the kitchen. He thought it was one of his friends going to the kitchen to have some snacks. He cursed him for breaking his sleep and went back to his pillow.

In the morning the guy casually asked his friends about last night. To this, both of them replied that they never got up from their beds.

Though they admitted hearing the noises and seeing a figure in the kitchen. Leaving everyone baffled, the guy left for his job.

That day, the guy was invited by some colleagues in the office (including my uncle) for a wedding.

So he didnt go home and left for the wedding venue from the office. He informed the friends that he wont be home and they should eat without him.

Around 2AM the guy (still at the wedding) received a call from one of his friends. The person on the other end was baffled and he asked the guy to come home IMMEDIATELY.

    The guy (drunk) took my uncle's scooter and reached his flat where he saw both his friends sitting in the hall with their bags packed. He asked them what the matter was and they told him that they would stay anywhere but in this house. On asking what happened they told him the following;

"We were sleeping quietly after dinner when we again heard some commotion in the kitchen. We clearly saw someone inside and it seemed that person was looking for something. We didnt move and didnt get up when suddenly, a guy came out of the kitchen with blood all over his head as if he was in an accident.

He came straight to us and said in a frantic manner, "Get up.. get up and lets go to the office. I think I left my wallet there.". That folk looked really worried and he didnt even wait for an answer from us. He then got up and went straight back to the kitchen.

We both waited in our beds (shivering with fear) for something to happen, but nothing happened."

My uncle's colleague went into the kitchen and all the stuff was in a mess as if somebody turned it all upside down.

He insisted his friends to stay, but they didnt sleep the whole night. As the morning came, they took their bags and left.

When the guy told about it at the office, he was told that the guy who lived in that quarter before him, died in a road accident.

That guy still lives in that flat but had seen/experienced nothing since then.

  4. Guys, my first Anime feature film Batu Gaiden: Return of the Asi will premiere on Cartoon Network on 13 April at 12PM.

Though, I am not familiar with Animes but it was fun to write for. So I would really appreciate if you guys could watch and critique it for me.

    Here is the promo:

Also, if I am not wrong, this is India's first attempt at anime.

It was animated by a Japanese studio and is based on the comic book series Batu Gaiden by Level 10 Comics.

  5. Ah! thanks for clearing that up, I actually have a friend who says that she is an Atheist and she believes in a force not understood by humans, a higher force :fear:

Hence I thought that some Atheists believe that :|

Then ur friend doesnt know that she is not an atheist but an agnostic :)

  6. It's a kid. In a tree.

Granted, at an untimely hour. There's nothing 'supernatural' about that.

It's odd. It's strange. It's creepy. It's weird. It's scary. It's not supernatural. You know what would have been supernatural? Had he suddenly disappeared. Had he started floating.

And FYI, I'm not jumping to conclusions - Wouldn't you agree the best way to be rational about a strange event is to take a stand of normalcy and then work from there? That's what I was doing. Everything is normal unless proven otherwise. 'That was a ghost' is such a far-reaching conclusion. Is it possible? Maybe. But only after cancelling out every other possibility. In this case we don't seem to have enough information to say it's anything supernatural or paranormal. It's just weird.

Dude, you are doing the same thing for which you are accusing the others.

You are not open to the notion that it could be something other than a human being.

You dont have to believe in paranormal entities just to admit that there could be more than one explanation for this video.

Remember, villages are close knit communities. Everybody knows everybody there. So if there is a kid with some mental issues, there is NO WAY the rest of the village would not know about him. And AFA a kid sitting in a tree is concerned, GS has mentioned it a lot of times that its really hard to reach his plantations. Its pretty secured.

I am not asking you to believe in supernatural, but you are kinda shunning the others who are willing to leave all the ideas open.

And thats exactly like an Atheist dissing the religious folks for being stupid :P

  7. thanks disu. Also do pm some of your works, if they aren't available in book/comic form.

  8. I remember going to the Mehdipur Balaji with my family.

One of dad's buddy was a devoted follower of one guruji and so he asked my dad to go with him (our family was in a crisis then).

So dad took us there and that Guruji told us that one member of the family has to take all trouble for the rest.

I did not understand what he meant by this so when the ritual took place, all of us were handed a plate with some pooris and a batasha on the top of it.

Then we were asked to say the name of the person to whom we would like to transfer all our troubles in our heart.

Instead of saying my mother's name, I (being a smartpants) said Guruji's name.

Guruji didnt appear in the darbar for the next 3 days. It was said he was having some troubles.
