  3. How are Maxtors External Drives.. You are getting one of those 1 TB drives for 5200/- (Maxtor Basics 3.5" ) on ebay..

    have been using this since 4-5 mnths now... all in all so far, so good, touch wood

    good for simple hdd, no frills n no thrills.... othr externals come with other facilities... this 1 is simple

    if the Blu-ray is region locked to B, it will not work on an Indian ps3(region C)

    +on the region coding site also they have not put it down as region free

    but peanut butter n jelly (jam) is a win combination... but peanut butter sandwiches by themselves r good enuff :D

     

    choice of bread is also individual's preference... i prefer white bread compared to brown.. or who knows what else... :panic:

  6. guys, got the altec lansing 5.1 channel system (VS 3251) yesterday. the electrician is coming tonite to setup the wiring etc. any suggestions? will be using it with the x360, dvd and ps3..

     

    looking for pointers like the keeping the woofer away from the cabinet etc and placement of the speakers, have a mid sized (by mumbai standards) hall

    wrong thread... but still

     

    speaker placement should be at ear level for the fronts n surrounds..... centre can be kept just below ur line of vision, since ur telly will be at that height...

    sub-woofer keep to one side (away from centre) of the front speakers... do not keep it flush in any corner... rather slightly away from any wall
