    Moral of the story- SD will not look good. And HD depends on source quality.

    SD does look really bad, but I fully expect a 480p (?) image to look bad in a 55 inch screen. HD depends on source streaming quality. Shows in Prime look great even at 1080P, Hotstar.. not so much.

    I got my C9 last year for 1.32l (after some shady workarounds by RD). Afaik, only person here who got it at 1.2l was @Sach4life and he had bought 2.

    Just out of curiosity, which headphones did you upgrade from? Trying to understand how much of a bump it will be, SQ wise.

    I have my C9 on a 4.5k table from Amazon for 1 year now, no issues whatsoever. As for showrooms, most Croma, RD etc. outlets should be on par price wise. As suggested above, you have to make them believe that you are serious about buying on the spot, and not just there to browse.

    Yeah, I don't mind the native apps either. Prime and Apple TV apps are really good in terms of PQ. So is YouTube. Netflix and Hotstar are the two where the quality is not always up to the mark. But then Hotstar is not great in general anyway.
