Only way I see it actually being easy is if the US store accepts Indian cards. Hope that is the case.

I carried around a 4.5 USD balance in my US account for like 10 months and finally did a f**k-this-sh*t purchase of FC5 and QD collection by adding a 20 USD card. FC5 went cheaper in PSN IN sale 2 months after that, and I’m yet to start the goddamned game.

This. The second hand market for PS games has been a God-send for me. My avg annual spend will be less than the cost of a single new game. Can't imagine spending 3-4k on every single game, particularly because I take a long time to finish them.

Sarcasm or not, Sony's region restriction sucks. Ffs, even Nintendo doesn't have that (another matter that their game prices are almost equally f**ked everywhere)

That's actually good news. Considering how much time I get for gaming, blocking 6-7k right away for a huge library might not make too much sense, if I end up playing only a fraction of them. Maybe I need to go through the GP library and shortlist the ones I do want to play.

Question to the X-aware folks here - Say I don't jump into the whole GP bandwagon and go for straight up purchase of the games I actually want. What kind of deals am I looking at for the 1st and 3rd party games? Does MS do good sales for patient people like me who are willing to wait months after launch?
