  1. Got this strange issue on less than 20 days old XSX bought off amazon.

The issue is with the controller which came with the xbox.

Would appreciate someone answer these :)

    1. The issue is that the controller analog stick (both left and right) got this strange click sound/feedback when its pushed full upward or pulled full backward.

It not felt so much when its pushed/pulled very quickly however much more noticeable when its done slowly.

Its like after certain angle, if I push it further there a click and then it reaches the extreme end where it can't go any further.

This isn't the case with my PS controller so this definitely feels odd.

Any experienced this or would someone check their controller and revert back ?

    2. Hows the warranty experience with xbox ?

If I were to replace my controller after contacting MS. How will the replacement happen ?

Do I ship the controller first and then they will send the replacement or is it hand to hand exchange ?

Anything else I need to be aware of for controller replacement

Yes the controller I got replaced is the one which came with my ps 5! I don't think there is a way to verify if the controller came with a console or a standalone purchase. Please double check this info - but I guess the warranty is 1 yr for the controller that came with ps5, and also I was told the replacement controller will have 6 months of warranty from the date of replacement!

Yeah use it a bit more before u exchange. Anyways now is not worth to step out for this purpose. Just make sure u have time left before your warranty expires.

I would suggest u speak to them once and get all info, so u don't miss deadlines.

    Cheers happy gaming.

    Thanks alot man.

I see you from Bangalore itself. Where did you get it replaced ?

I was a victim!! :wallbash: I know how much I cursed Sony. Paying 6 K for a next gen controller and then crying over it in less than 2 months..

Not to worry, it will be easily replaced.

I went and gave my faulty controller in one of the sony service center, provided them with purchase invoice and warranty slip. No questions were asked as I just said that it was drifting with a straight face! I was really annoyed.

Within a week I got a call that the replacement was ready so I went and collected it. Remember, they will give u like a job sheet when u deposit your faulty controller, which again u need to carry on the day when u pick up the replacement.

This was like a month ago when covid cases were not as high as today. So call them and check if they are open.

Get it exchanged before the warranty expires.

    Thank you.

The controller which you got replaced, did it come with the console or you purchased it separately. I am curious if those sony people will ask me to get my console also along with the controller (You never know, some of these sony people are so aware of their own product/process.)

How long is the warranty for the controller that came with the console ?  I am thinking to use the controller bit longer and claim it once the covid situation gets calm.

  4. My controller started drifting. Not alot of drift, its very small right now but still kinda annoyed that a controller worth 6k started showing issues this soon. I only played 1 game with this controller so far.

Anyone who got their controller (controller that came with the console) replaced from Sony, please share your experience on how's the process. I need claim the warranty.

Your probably the first one here. You'll have the first experience ?

Maybe it's just me being extra paranoid..

I had set the dead zone setting on Apex legends to none (changed from default setting of small), saw dualsense drifting abit,  I did the same test with my dualshock4 which doesn't have drifting problem and it had same behavior ...

I don't know what to think of it..

Im in the same boat. I feel amazon might just pull it off for launch day delivery. Flipkart is pretty strict with their pre defined packing date. In my case have ordered 50+ times and never have they ever shipped an item before their packing date. And this one too shows up on 2nd feb. But i have seen them packing n shipping at 1AM mostly ;) on same date.

I am hoping the same. They shipping early morning at around 1 am on 2nd Feb and I get same day delivery.

Like I ordered this headset today morning at 4 am and it got delivered at 5 pm ..

Same day delivery in bangalore or Maybe I am way too optimistic :)

The ANC on the 800 results in poor battery life. Pretty much expected as its a battery hog.

Having used the 600 since July i can they are absolutely great. And on sale atm on amazon.

Another alternative albeit pricier would be Logitech G733 which is usually 15.5 and currently on sale for 13k.

Could you tell me if the toggle to switch Game sound and Chat works perfectly on PS ?

I am under the impression this is meant for PC only to toggle the volume between game sound and discord but does it work the same way in PS ?

  8. I was looking forward to buying PS5 along with the Dualsense headset, since there's no actual launch date for Dualsense Headphone.

I am looking for other wireless alternative. .

I can think of JBL Quantum 600 and 800 (would love to have ANC however I can't justify spending 18k on headphone).

I haven't seen any reviews which talks about its usage on PS5. Any idea how these headphone performs on PS ?

Do you think I need to wait out for DualSense to get launch in India rather then going for other brand headphone ?
