AO Tennis is better with the career mode and player development where your time and skill is appreciated despite having poor AI (which is present in both the series). You also get to download all the created content and stadiums from the community. The only downside is the visuals/presentation compared to WT2.
"It's decent" only because there are no Tennis games around. This was their quick cash grab after releasing AO Tennis 10 months before and nothing more. Total trash for any tennis fans who are looking to sink in their time.
It is not even funny how good TS 3/4 still plays compared to all the latest tennis games.

Wasn't talking specifically about this game. Just commenting on how scenarios can be different and its not a just a simple option between performance vs resolution always.

That mental satisfaction is there only if the performance is not getting hampered. I fail to see how can people get that "mental satisfaction" if the actual playing/gameplay part is laggy/not optimum

Yeah. Initially, I was playing RnC with Performance RT settings but ever since the 40 fps update came, Fidelity mode is my preferred mode because 40 fps at 120 Hz feels incredibly smooth. Perfect balance of both aesthetics and performance

Of course. There is a reason why even in PC space, we see true jump in scope and visuals once new gen comes out. There is only so much you can do with a powerful graphics card if ultimately game has to run on consoles as well.

I don't think there is a straightforward to this. Potential for scalability is definitely lot more today than it has ever been. Having said that, no matter how much scaling technology you put in, if the lowest common denominator is lot less powerful, the overall scope of the game itself can suffer (provided developer actually has that vision for the game). Again, all of this is not targeting any specific console, just a normal comment

Now, do these size difference exist? Yes. They are what they are, it doesn't change how the game looks in either consoles. So tell me, who among us got their panties in a twist? Why did you take it so personally?
Lastly, where are you or your ilk when I praise GP, Phil, Xbox event, Forza, upcoming day 1 third party titles at no extra cost?! You don't tell me I'm insecure about having a PS5 then right? One small fact, which wasn't even pointed as criticism at XSX and you lose your marbles. It's like everything at camp is fine and dandy, nothing can go wrong, say anything slightly -ve about Xbox and you're up in arms.
No point wasting your time. Just point and laugh and move on..
