I was having problem with my old UPS supporting my PC..So i got this..Its should be sufficient.

-
That Potter iD is you Sir?
If yes, will clear it through.
Sent from my ST27i
Yes its me..i have changed my profile now which matches my steam id mentioned on IVG.
-
P.S. -- Have you sent me a friend request on STEAM?
Actually, i have sent you the friend request..

So how much does the power consumption calculation come up to?
It came upto 589W so rounding it off to 600W..So, i would need a 1.3 KVA UPS
-
Accurate enough, extra wattage won't kill you.
I know it won't
..I'm changing my UPS so i wanted to know how much power do my components take. -
-
Hey guyz, is there any software or a tool to find out exactly how much power do the components (CPU, MOBO, GPU etc.) take out of the total available power in the PSU..?
-
That covers the cabinet. I believe monitor is also connected to UPS (specs of monitor). And what else is connected to the UPS (e.g. speakers, washing machine
)?The monitor isn't connected to the UPS. only the System and Speakers..
-
What is your configuration and also specify if any overclocking has been done?
CPU- i7 4770k
MOBO - MSI Z87-GD 65
GPU - MSI GTX 760 TF OC
Storage - Samsung SSD and Seagate HDD
PSU - Corsair RM 760
RAM - Corsair 16GB
I haven't overclocked anything.
-
What brand UPS do you have currently?
I would suggest a 1KVA minimum for your needs, back-up is dependent on your configurations power draw.
I have the APC Back UPS 600 and the PSU is Corsair RM750
-
Hey guys, what UPS is needed for a 750W PSU. I'm currently using the APC 600VA UPS. It works fine, gives me back-up (during power cut) too but when i'm playing a game, it starts flashing red and beeping after 15 minutes of my gameplay. Also, if i'm playing a game and a power cut occurs, the PC shuts off. Doesn't give any backup.
Can someone help me out..Thanks

RAM prices are shite now.
They keep fluctuating though...
-
I kinda figured that, but was confused as you had the actual pics of all the components in what seemed more like a house than a shop. Anyway, congrats. How much did the RAM cost you BTW?
Well its around INR 3,200 each so 4 sticks came to total of INR 13,000

How can it be already assembled without unboxing the chassis?
I got all the components from a store. He assembled it, i tested it over there..repacked in a box to bring it home..now its lying in the box waiting to be unpacked.Need to buy a hdmi cable so going tomorrow and getting it..
@Zodak, i wanted a GTX 770 but its out of stock.
-
Congratulations Agent 47.
Thanks.
-
@Agent47, congrats, planning to assemble yourself ?
Its already assembled..The monitor didn't come with HDMi cable so have to purchase it and then unboxing the chassis..
-
Since everyone is going next-gen. I thought its time to upgrade my PC. So here's what i bought this week. Couldn't take everything in one shot so have uploaded multiple pics.

And all the above go into this..

Haven't unboxed the cabinet yet but will upload pics soon..Also got a 24" dell monitor..Couldn't find anything better.

Pre-2011, Razer Deathadder's were some of the best mice you could purchase, later and newer models are very shoddy build and poor quality in my opinion.
I started with a Razer Salmosa in 2010, after two years it was dead, switched to the LOGITECH G300 and currently use the G400s.
I have also reviewed a bunch of mice, notably the Cooler Master STORM Spawn, Recon and used their Devastator kit.
Still using a Razer Lycosa for keyboard duty although it is very, very battered and shows its age. Used almost all of Cooler Master STORM's mechanical keyboard line-up.
Ya i have used the new deathadder and taipan. Kinda feels cheap.
I used my friend's logitech g500 and that's what got me to hate logitech. I didn't like that weight system at all. Feels like a gimmick.I checked recon out looks pretty decent but i have never used an ambidextrous mouse earlier so have no idea how it'll feel.

You wanted an honest opinion and you got it.
Maybe I am bitter with Razer because of my personal experience with the company. A good looking shoe that starts cracking after three months basic usage is not good and definitely not worth ~4000/- quid; same with such peripherals, if a good looking keyboard starts falling apart / malfunctions in less then a year of use something is screwed.
Actually, i own a deathadder(2009 version)..bought it in the same year. It has worked really well all these years. Just recently its giving problems and i think its time for a change from Razer.
For keyboard, i have pretty much decided on Vengeance K70...Now for mice, every mice has cons can't decide which one..What mouse do you use. ?

Avoid Razer as far as possible, their build quality is average and almost non-existent after sales support.
Same with Steelseries apart from the build quality aspect, which depends on which model you have purchased.
The products are more or less the same across all 'gaming' oriented brands, only differences lie in the build quality and after sales of the product, also, the software suite that is provided alongside. In this overall scenario LOGITECH, Corsair, Roccat and Cooler Master STORM products are better.
Instead of the Razer Deathstalker I suggest you go for mechanical keyboards. Look at the Cooler Master TK line and the Trigger or consider going to the Corsair K70 / K90 keyboards.
All accessories can be used with each other, very rarely do they clash, the only bone of contention would be the layers of drivers and customisation software you would have to deal with.
Hope this helps, Cheerio!
Thanks for your feedback. I checked out Roccat IskuFX..looked pretty decent..I have seen corsair and other company keyboards mentioned above..Performance wise they might be really good but looks wise they are pretty meh...
Anyways will check 'em out again..

Hey guyz i have query regarding gaming keyboards and mice..
Firstly i want to know if Razer Synapse and Steelseries engine go hand in hand well..? 'cause i have a old deathadder mouse and looking to buy Steelseries apex keyboard. If it doesn't then i should either change to steelseries mouse or buy razer keyboard. So how good is razer deathstalker expert (not ultimate) keyboard cause it has membrane keys and not mechanical.
Secondly, how good are steelseries products compared to Razer.
Thirdly, does anyone own a steelseries sensei raw mouse here. If so, can you share your experience.
Thanks.

Hey, Z77 Chipset supports only 2nd and 3rd generation processors..You might want to suggest him a z87 chipset motherboard to support 4th gen cpu.
