    Can you not download the official clean ISO and then upgrade via a boot disc. Saw a guy on youtube doing that.

    You need to upgrade first to get the product key (if he doesn't have the physical copy) then he can do a clean install..

    Did all the reviewers review this game after playing at a review event behind closed doors hosted by Konami..?

     

    If its so, was this done because reviewing in their respective offices would result in a leak of certain details which they are not suppose to or Is there actually something wrong with the game on other platforms cause it has been reviewed only on PS4 and not Xbox One and last gen consoles..

    If that includes the PC version than really there was no use in me buying the Steam code :(.

    Has anyone of you pre ordered anything from steam store? when does preordered games usually unlock?

     

    If you are a regular Steam user you should know that Steam updates regularly everyday at 10:30 PM of our IST time..Plus there have been cases where even after unlock time being passed the game still wasn't unlocked due to some errors (Happened with MK X and Arkham Knight)..

     

    So hopefully the game should unlock by Sep 1st around 10:30 - 11:00 PM or to be safe i can say you should have the game by 2nd afternoon..

    Except for Hardcore MGS fans i dont think many people liked MGS4 ....beside it is exclusive for PS forever i think ...they won't remaster it for just one console specially coz they will have to Pay Konami quite a lot of money again.

     

    I am pretty sure keeping MGS4 exclusive might have cost Sony and arm and leg . It was the only game that was making the $600 console worth it at that time.

     

    Ya, i remember one of my friend was playing it (i had already played the game twice) and he skipped the cutscene and i was like WTF..and started shouting at him..That game isn't everybody's cup of tea.

    I doubt we will get pc reviews before sept 1st.Them not allowing pre loads on PC seems very fishy an no pc reviews only adds to it

    we have to rely on PS who has preordered the PC version to know how is it

     

    They didn't allow pre-loads on GZ as well..But i believe review copies are different and i think PC Gamer is one of the trusted sites for PC reviews. During Arkham Knight's release they did have an article saying that they didn't receive PC copies which was one of the red flags...we'll know on Monday for sure..IGN,GS etc will be reviewing console copies so no point checking those..The game will get a good score anyways..

     

    Even uberfragger has bought a copy so there are two people..
