Last Activision game I purchased was Destiny 2,right before it went independent. No interest in their crappy rinse repeat COD series whatsoever.

That’s the whole point. It’s the milking of the worst kind. They should have announced whatever their plans are so that if it’s a fresh purchase ppl who haven’t bought yet would buy the next gen port. But no,they want as many ppl who can buy the last gen port to buy it & then they will release a fresh port. Public relations you know.

They are not marketing it,coz they don’t want ppl who didn’t know about their earlier promise to know. For the ppl who knew about their statement of free entitlement,they have announced it publicly on the blog. The same place where they spoke about free next gen entitlement.

Sony:- Released Free FPS patches for mostly all it’s First Party Games. “What a wretched Game company charging $10-20 all over again for next gen Ports.” Rockstar:-Just sitting on RDR2 doing nothing about it’s playability on Next Gen console. Deciding to launch a GTAV port with no visible upgrades for the third time for full $60. & Also a miserable GTA3 trilogy port after 2 decades,again for full $60. “Rockstar is never unfair to it’s customers & always cares about public relations,don’t really care if you buy again or not.”

It’s more easily available. M$ are deploying SX hardware for Xcloud. They clearly don’t care about core console gamers & more focused on the future pot that has made them risk all these investments. (Which they clearly didn’t when We were their demographic) Like it or not soon all the studios they have acquired will be making games with the mobile users in mind rather then us. Spencer says. “At some point in our future, more people are going to be part of the Xbox community on mobile than they are on any other device, just by the nature of how many mobile phones there are.”

It’s a simple fact,critics gave it glowing reviews. But didn’t put it up for GOTY pedestal. Coz gaming media in general relies more on action/adventure/story oriented games rather than Sports. Which I personally think is wrong,if you review it better then think of it better.

How do you know this?!? Have you peeked into the future?!? Does your IQ allow you to do that?!? coz ours doesn’t. Even The Game awards mentioned Bethesda & M$ this year. Coz they know they were operating as different companies. But no one really knows what sort of brand msging is gona come out of M$ in the future. Accept maybe you.

Sony launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund Shenmue 3 & support Yu Suzuki. Everyone was happy with this set up of mixed funding by Sony & The Fans. Except you know who,ironically it’s a time when same ppl are lauding a game that has mixed Crowd & First Party funding roots.

It has 9million logins bro ? Lets put Candy Crush up their too which probably has 9billion. ? (counting a few from outer space)

Dude you can spin it & interpret it as much as you want. Earlier I never used the word “owned Property” but you put it up there. Now you are saying Sony don’t have rights coz it is on PC. Obviously Sony has only console rights & we all know it. It’s a simple fact…if a product isn’t even crediting a certain brand neither in it’s ingame credits nor in it’s storefront or packaging listing then who are we to give that brand or company the credit. Unlike Psychonauts 2 which gives credit to M$ even on PSN…or Starfield which will pretty much be labelled as a M$ game. Deatloop & probably Ghostwire can’t do that coz the marketing rights for console were Sold to Sony for a period of 1 year after launch. So if they can’t publish it under Xbox branding on one platform they aren’t doing it on another. It’s quite a simple fact which I don’t know why is being stretched & being presented as something hard to comprehend.

I’m having a strong itch of Buying SS & doing a Gears & Halo marathon along way a bit of Forza. But I’m holding myself off thinking I wouldn’t want to play any of the beefy next gen games at lower fidelity. & Want to buy PS5 first for that as I have games like TLOU 2,Days Gone,TLG,R&C,Left over of HZD & a few others lined up in for high performance. Not to mention all those Native ports.

If that is the criteria (which I wasn’t aware of) then there is nothing really to crib. It’s fair & square.

Why isn’t there a M$ label or credit on storefront then. On PS there definitely isn’t can someone confirm for Steam?!? If they can’t even label it then how can they take credit where there is none?!?

Even though I’m against this notion of Sports & Fighting games not given GOTY pedestal. But your second line makes no sense. If that was the benchmark then COD,FIFA & many other F2P & Subscription & Season based games would have ran for GOTY in consecutive years. Number of ppl who bought something or logged into something is in no way a criteria to choose GOTY. Critical & Commercial success combined surely is. Forza 5 definitely should have been nominated.

So technically Bethesda don’t have rights to release or even market it on any other console for 1 year. & If Bethesda can’t then M$ can’t either. And since it was Bethesda that made the deal…..M$ can’t use their logo on this IP either until Sony holds Marketing Rights. Why is it so hard to understand.

Right now where SeriesX locks or produces favourable 60fps results. SeriesS struggles to lock it. Common sense says that with passing time when more & more games go next gen only & PS5 & SX will rely on fake resolution methods. SS will either struggle with Resolution or FPS. If you want it to play first few waves of games (mostly crossgen) then you are good to go. But Looking at a longer picture it’s factually up in the air. I myself giving good thoughts of Buying SS as I’m just interested in Gears Franchise. But then I stop myself thinking what will I do with it if it performs like Metro Exodus on the future games.

They didn’t honour jack. Sony had 1 year rights to both Deathloop & Ghostwire. Their a*s could have been sued & the games would have been put on hold for years to come until Sony would have made a settlement. Would have been a loss to everyone. They don’t own rights to both the games until Sony’s expire,as simple as that.

Well it’s not really upto me or you to decide is it. The very fact that it’s nominated in a category of “The Game Awards” is hint enough that it is a Game now. But just not a conventional one to be put up in same category as others.

M$ don’t even have rights to the title & IP yet. Talk about calling it a M$ game Till the time Sony has full rights of it,can’t even be labelled with the M$ logo on storefronts.

If sight seeing can be considered as part of “Gaming” then a lot of slideshows with music & legs attached will be categorised as one. That just doesn’t happen & the reason is simple.

Flight Sim is not a Gaming software. It’s a simulation software by all measures. If you give it to any core gamer or even hardcore that doesn’t have any interest or know how in flying. He/She wouldn’t have any interest in it. It’s just the reality that puts apart Games from Sim Software. Before any Doofus,calls GranTurismo & Forza M a “sim software” too, No that’s not the case,that’s sports category & very much part of core Gaming. Which I kinda agree on should be given a shot at GOTY along with Fighting games.
