What happened to Dying Light 1 upgrade?!? I think they should give it in GP & PSplus. So that ppl play it & get hyped about sequel.

It’s been sitting around on Amazon,Flipkart & Vijay Sales for a week now. I got tempted today after watching Gears FPS boost.

Not really a fair comparison to be honest. Scale is much different.

You get 1440p in Gears 3 according to this analysis. Hype restored So it’s Gears 720p@60(No point bothering) Gears UE 1080p@60 (remade visuals) Gears 2 4k@60(1440p on SS) Gears 3 1440p@60 (with some bugs) Gears J 720p@60 (Worthless) Gears 4 1080p@60 Gears 5 1800p@60 (Next Gen port)

Only that it’s not anyone looking to play entire gears Series at pristine quality can’t rely on PC. 2 mainline & 1 spin-off aren’t even available there.

Relax bud It’s not like I’m demanding something from your favourite brand. I was just showing interest “if it would have been”. Also Gears 2 & 3 are not even available on PC.

Hmmm maybe I missed in excitement. Also I was wrong,maybe even Gears UE didn’t get a OneX patch. Quite strange though.

But as per this checklist only Gears 4 is turned off by default. All the rest are turned on. EDIT:- It was not ticked on Gears 3 when AC posted it But now there is,maybe they didn’t know properly. So Gears 3 will never get a 4K@60 port unless it gets a remake/remaster. Gears 4 still has hope as all it needs is a patch from developer.

Gears 2 & 3 were upscaled for XBoneX they ran at a native 4k with high resolution texture mapping on OneX after the console launch. So essentially they should run at 4k60fps on SX now Ultimate also got a OneX patch I think,so entire trilogy should run at 4k60 now No one cared about Judgment as it was just a cash grab spin-off.

So essentially Gears 4 is the only game left that can’t do 4K@60fps. Do it TeamXbox.

First few years of XB360 were the true Golden times of XB history. Sadly we see no one talking about it at this 20th anniversary occasion & new age kids are just flying around with fake & inconsequential merits of “the new system”. Call of Duty2 GRAW Splinter Cell DA Dead Rising ES Oblivion Saints Row Gears of War Lost Planet Mass Effect Bioshock Halo 3 Crackdown Albite,yes most turned out to be timed exclusives But the first few years 360 was the place to be for quality AAA gaming. & yes each game was $60 even back then. All hail Peter Moore the true messiah of Xbox brand Guy made a turn around of the brand without any sort of freebie bandwagon & help from M$. If it wasn’t for his hardware team failing him & RROD emerging out of no where,he would have spent all those billions of dollars into help funding possibly even nurturing & then acquiring a lot of great exclusive gaming content.

He can keep playing Gears 5 MP simultaneously while playing the entire series from the start. That’s what I would advise. Also be sure to start with Gears 1 UE & not the actual Gears 1.

Stick to a single track If you want to discuss M$’s comeback in the gaming scene as a whole. Or want to discuss Xbox the console’s comeback.

please tell me that it retains resolution of OneX version. & doesn’t downscale to OneS 1080p port.

It’s come to the point where ppl anticipate Dev interviews & sweet talks so that they can imagine something great in their heads. -Doom barely finished this year & they are anticipating Doom 3. -Forza just got done & they are romancing with Fable. -Ghostwire isn’t even out but ppl happy that Tango wants to work on something new. -We haven’t even seen anything even remotely about Avowed but Outer Worlds 2 is being pictured. All this but games that were in development since 2018 aren’t even getting a single render image….let alone gameplay. Great times ahead sure…..but how ahead no one knows

About f**ckin time!! Even M$ knew all along (before Bethesda acquisition) that this guy has done nothing for almost a decade except stress on BC BC BC. They literally had to give away billions of dollars to keep business afloat. I think now someone with streaming business know how will run the show rather than someone with console roots

You mean to say all other studios so far were incompetent?!? Also which ID game took the lead on SX?!? Last I checked Doom Eternal took a trade of worse texture mapping & reflections to take the advantage of Resolution in FPS mode. Trade offs aren’t really a win!! BF2042 has better resolution on PS5 but has worse reflections. you can’t really call that a win.

There practically would have been no war regarding this aspect if Xbox marketing hadn’t falsely claimed the power advantage leading up to the launch. The shills & fanboys even projected things like PS5 won’t be able to go anywhere near the Resolution to FPS ratio of SX ,let alone outright exchange wins like it actually turned out to be. You have only them to blame for this particular topic of embarrassment.

I said M$ not Phill or anyone at Xbox. if it were upto them ppl would be still waiting for games like these in the name of exclusive & day 1 GP AAA content:- Xbox didn’t generate all the money within itself. So yeah,if there is anyone to hail for the awesome moments gamers are enjoying,it’s Satya & M$.
