You yourself stated that the same manager told you Sony stopped walk-in purchases & has resorted to online only. Obviously they either care or they don’t. The same person can’t tell you both traits of Sony simultaneously.

How is that really in Sony’s hands. They have no say in how online retailers run their business. Just like they have no say or a watchful eye on what walk-in retail chains are doing. You can’t expect Sony or even M$ to be policing everyone. Though you should understand the simple fact that all the unsold black inventory lying around is as much big loss to them as it is to the end user looking for MRP purchase.

This is a far fetched & baseless statement. You in your own words said they have restricted sales to online,why we they do that if they supported scalpers. Every single unit lying around in a scalper’s possession is a direct loss to console manufacturer. As they make money on software much more than hardware. The Scalped amount is not profiting them in anyway.

Well I wouldn’t go on to the extent of calling it a “promotion to black marketing” But giving out 4-5 PS5’s to the same person using same card is quite frankly stupid & obvious on the face value as to what he/she is doing. If it did really happen then the retailer is either stupid or a part of it. As for Sony,they don’t really own every single retail unit of Sony World/Centre. The owner is usually the one running the store & Sony is just a supply partner to it. Kinda like revenue sharing thing. So these owners do a lot of these black marketing & get away by saying there is no policy to stop ppl from buying.

They do whatever it takes to make the FPS hit 60. So what is the point of giving dynamic resolution even in Quality mode.

That’s exactly what performance mode is for They are just giving ppl an option of whatever they prefer.

To be honest platform bashing I was fine with & never really cared. But some loonies on the internet got so jealous of all the games that Sony was getting in second half of PS3 & entirety of PS4 that they started bashing them games & those studios with a passion. Which I couldn’t stand tbh. One thing got to another & ppl started joining in the fight of console wars. I don’t really care about the systems just the games. Was a huge fan of Halo & Gears back in the day Loved SC Conviction & Alan Wake to their last bit. I always admired games no matter what is the platform. Loved Bioshock,Mass Effect irrespective if they were on PS or not. But M$ in general,specifically the Xbox division is a very deceiving team to be honest. Didn’t feel the same way while buying Sony consoles(apart from those few misrepresenting CG trailers of e3 2005).

The platform is PS not just PS5 I have a PS4pro & about the passion,there is no such it’s just that some ppl were bashing it with a passion which got me involved. Otherwise I don’t really care,care only about good quality games.

I had a dream last night about getting a PS5 delivered at my home from one of these places. Same thing 50k mrp + 15k compulsory add-ons. The Auto driver who was delivering tried to take another extra 5k by trying to fool.

MGS ranking for me:- MGS3>MGS4>MGS2>MGS5>PortableOps>Peace Walker. Didn’t get to play MGS1 on PSone properly as I was stupid kid back then. Please make it happen BluePointBox studios!!!
