Where is this written?!? Please link. As far as I know if me & my family member have two consoles we don’t need to have separate accounts on them. The thing which got ppl banned was creating multiple accounts on their PS5 then giving it to unknown ppl & those ppl started playing Collection games with that new account on their old gen system. An account that existed on my PS3,PS4,PS4pro & then on my friend’s PS5 (who didn’t avail that collection on any other account) has no ethical standing of getting banned.

Wtf!! Just because you think it’s unethical/robbery/theft doesn’t mean it is!!! By your own statements Sony is pretty strict & banned everyone who they thought did something illegal. Why did they spare me?!? Obviously coz in official books I didn’t do them no wrong.

No they didn’t ban anyone who was sharing same account on a PS5(no matter who’s it was) Bans were only implemented where some PS5 owners started selling accounts made on a PS5 with collection availed. Sony can’t ban any account which me/my brother/sister/family member share on a PS4 & 5 simultaneously. Family members aren’t required to buy PS+ on all accounts.

It’s a very hard get I know you & many have tried many times to prove me “unethical” “hypocrite” many times. But as usual your attempt is futile even this time. I never criticised users for subscribing to GamesPass through back doors. Infact always admitted that it’s inevitable & no one would give away opportunity at free games. Even if it was me. I only criticised the “strategy” that is the backdoor GamesPass which is teaching ppl to demand too much for too little. Which can’t be said for PS+Collection. As it was one time offer even if PS4 audiences availed it. Infact I was unsubscribed from PS+ until it was time to play games from the Collection. I paid due money only for them!! Pick any of my comments & I never criticised general public be it on Xbox or PC for subscribing to GamesPass through back door. If anything I only said it was M$ who fooled some of the early SX buyers into paying upfront money on something that didn’t have any AAA with fraud announcements. But never criticised gamers at large. Not unless they stormed Sony & Nintendo threads with their unnatural demands to give them gifts which M$ is giving.

It’s just that we haven’t. Barring GTA aside M$ is fully capable of buying a lot more AAA from third party & put it on GamesPass. & In all expectancy this year they will!! As most of the lineup they promoted 1 year ago on that big showcase are no longer coming this year.

Sony does a lot of small showcases now. Instead of any big yearly show or two.

If you read the essay carefully you would know how I made it clear why it just doesn’t make sense for something like GTA5/6 to begin with. Jumping straight upto GTA on each & every reference usually never does.

I already made it clear I’m desperately looking for a PS5 Disc edition. (No bundles though) As there are only 5-6 games left in my backlog that run the same on Pro. Even tried vigorously last drop. Will try again next time with bot this time.

You said 1b so I spoke of that number. Which is doable & even much more in case of M$. Ppl can vouch that anything can be expected now. Also I have said this before that it is not wise to jump straight up to GTA for all regular gaming related references.

Yeah obviously at 25k it would be a no brainier for anyone. I would have bought it at launch itself if it was priced like that.

Again not intending to derail the thread. M$ paid $100m to Rockstar back in 2008 for just few months DLC exclusivity. They paid $100m again for 1 year Tomb Raider exclusivity. Have paid close to 100b since 2018 to secure games for their service. (all future games from those studios) Paying 1b for securing something like GTA6 & literally killing the competition wouldn’t be much if you look at it that way. It’s just that it’s not enough as in the long run GTA5 went on to make almost 10x that amount. & it wouldn’t have happened if it hadn’t had launch parity across all platforms. For all we know a game like that would just die down after a while on a service like GamesPass which is giving so much for so little. But as a continued service based game with parity across all platforms it has a better chance of creating longevity amongst core fan base.

So you mean to say the entire gaming world including these casuals you mention have a choice & are fully equipped with bots & what not knowledge to be able to secure PS5/SX units at the exact second the drop happens. & they are just choosing SS on purpose. Get real bro

SS is a damn over priced console for the power it is packing considering Sony is offering a fully next gen digital console for just 5k-$100 more. I would have gone for SX for sure. Just 15k more one is getting much more longevity. Also a sure shot guarantee of fidelity on Gears5,Halo Infinite,Forza5 & whenever the f**k those new games come. Whenever the f**k!!! 15k isn’t much for someone who has spent lakhs on 4k TV’s in the past.

It does make sense actually for third party developer/publishers like 2k,EA,Ubi etc. If the first party desperately pays them a nice sum to cover up potential sales numbers. It’s a sure shot bank guarantee. Though I think this post should have been in another thread as this one will get derailed needlessly.

There is no certainty of that. They could buy a PS5/PS5 DE or a PC instead.
