  1. are you sure :P 15 minutes sounds little less

    nvm

probably more, no idea. how many watts do you think all 4 of these would use?

this UPS is supposed to support 1000VA fopr about 20 minutes, so i guess you are right, even if they all come to 600VA, it should hold on for maybe about 30 minutes.

  2. Any idea about the approximate run time on that UPS (PS3+LCD) ?

not tested till the full limit yet, but should be around 15 minutes. i need it till our apartments generator kicks in, but loads of voltage fluctuation till it kicks in, so the UPS is a necessity.

also the UPS supports LCD+PS3+DVD 5.1 home theater+Set Top Box

  3. hey wahi how much for the LCD and the UPS? and UPS which brand? am all ready to buy a LCD in May now...but am torn between wich brand to go for...Sony, LG or maybe a Samsung...

UPS was luminos 1 KVA for 5k, worked out perfectly yesterday when the voltage fluctuated and the power went off.

got the TV for 39K, add to that 2 HDMI cables for 1.5k each. my choice was samsung since it was one of the cheapest Full HD and also i got a 5.1 home theater from the same company which has worked out pretty well for me.

the sound of the TV is not supposed to be great, but since i use the home theater, it didnt really matter to me.

  4. well, bought shitloads in the last two weeks

samsung 32" full HD series 5 LCD

    little big planet

    COD W@W

    Resistance 2

1 KVA UPS to keep em all safe

actually the TV was a 6 month early b'day gift from wife, which is great!!!

and damn!!! gaming is soooo much better..... :giggle:

  5. thats crazy, i'm assuming you dont have unlimited download. airtel is pretty prone to hacking, i had norton protection and it detected the IPs of the users trying to access my account, when i was accused of the same thing by airtel when i didnt have their unlimited connection. i passed on the notepad file to them and it pretty much solved my case.
