It's one hell of a show with some brutal action set pieces.. I was genuinely upset when it ended..

In the final episode of Season 2 there was a song that played amidst the closing scenes. Song's called "This Night' by Black Lab. Deep hitting words and perfect complimenting sequences.

Shows like these... makes evenings better, bittersweet better.

  2. Thank-you for recommending Banshee @Joe Cool! I'm absolutely loving this show. The visceral action sequences, strong sex and the emotional carnage of it all. Brutal and every bit delicious.

Started Season 3 this evening. Besides of course Lucas and Anastasia, it's the evolution of Rebecca's character that is so remarkably well executed.

Yeah, easy win coming for Nadal and Williams.

Disappointing that Fed lost but massive props to winners (soon) to remain on top of their levels even after a long time.

Yup, also Djoko losing out due to his bad shoulder was another dampener.

Full props to Nadal, in spite of his consistent hand muscle cramps he continues to wade through and play so well. Id Medvedev can push him to a 5-setter then maybe he can pull off a win but I doubt it. It's Nadal all the way now.

  4. Grigor Dimitrov does the unthinkable... defeats Roger Federer in 5 sets!

That final set was a short affair really, Fed just wasn't in it. Medically he looked out of sorts. A total of 61 Unforced Errors for him, that doesn't happen a lot.

  5. Fed takes a medical time out. Comes back and drops his service game, oops! There's something bothering him, medically.

Edit: Oh boy... Fed gets broken again! Dimitrov up 3-0 now in the final set. This is going to be incredibly hard for Fed to come back from this point.

  6. Mithali Raj, the veteran India batter, has announced retirement from T20 Internationals, on Tuesday (September 3).

"After representing India in T20 internationals since 2006, I wish to retire from T20Is to focus my energies on readying myself for the 2021 One Day World Cup," Mithali said. "It remains my dream to win a World Cup for my country and I want to give it my best. I thank the BCCI for their continuous support and wish the Indian T20 team good luck as they prepare for the home series against South Africa Women."

  7. Will miss the Nadal match since it's at 4:30AM IST. Damn, how I hate these opposite time zone differences sometimes!!

Djokovic lost first two sets to Wawrinka and then had to retire due to his left shoulder injury. :samui:

Federer faces Grigor Dimitrov next in the QF's.

  8. Federer vs David Goffin going on. Fed leading 2 sets to nada.

Ashleigh Barty knocked out again in straight sets. She managed to get 9 break points and couldn't convert even one of them. Sad. Couldn't win Wimbledon and now this. Hope she gets back strong in the AO next year.

  9. Was watching AEW All Out... great event! Loud Chicago crowd... superb atmosphere. Some great matches so far, really enjoying it!

Cody Rhodes entrance was very cool but the poor dog got all scared due the loud pyro!! :(

  10. Ambati Rayudu is set to play for Hyderabad again.

On Thursday (August 29), Rayudu wrote to the Hyderabad Cricket Association's CoA that he was available for selection. "I (Ambati Rayudu) would like to bring to your kind notice that I would like to come out of retirement and play cricket in all formats," he wrote.

Subsequently, the HCA CEO put out a release saying, "This is to inform you that Ambati Rayudu has withdrawn his announcement of retirement and has made himself available for the shorter format of the game for HCA in 2019-20."

Rayadu will be available from September 10 to join the Hyderabad team. :)
