Any thoughts/recommendations/suggestions on Nikon D 50 SLR?
Also where to buy in Bangalore, its for a friend of mine.
-
This is a pre-sales query. Not going on sale for atleast another 2 weeks.
If mods deem fit please have it moved.
Also please suggest a price.

This is a pre sale query for Xbox 360 , probably doesnt belong here but couldnt find an appropriate thread. So here goes..
I am planning to put my unmodded 360 for sale in a couple of weeks.
Reason for sale - Would want to buy a console with a HDMI connection since I plan to pick up a 1080p LCD.
Details follow
Bought in Jan 2008
Replaced in June 2008 due to drive problem ( have both the original bill and replacement reciept)
so another 2 yrs RROD warranty left.
Accessories : 20 GB hard disk
64 mb card ( useless, i know)
1 Wired controller ( works fine)
1 vga cable
1 HD cable
1 Power Brick
1 Wired 360 Headset
Viva Pinnata+ Forza Motorsport Bundle ( clean DVD's with Manuals)
I have xbox live gold subscription on it valid till 30 Aug 2009.
Please suggest a decent price for this setup as I want the buyer to get a good deal. Don't make it too good

This would be for Bangalore buyers only and while at it do let me know how much does the new premium 360 with 60 gb hard disk cost in Bangalore.
Thanks for looking.

Dont know about grey market in India but a DS lite with Wall-E title and an accessory pack is priced at £ 120 here in London. At todays convertion rate that amounts to Rs 8520.
One of my friend bought a lite+accessorypack+big brain for £ 123 just before christmas.
It was a mad rush as every other store was running out of consoles.
Sorry, didnt answer you question but would be interesting to compare.
OT :Also saw Farcry2 for 360 being sold for £ 18 ( Rs 1278) .

oh yeah even one of my other frnd told me the same... should go pay some advance tomorrow untill my old LCD gets sold
thank mate for the info
The only oddity is that one resolution we would expect to work perfectly -- 720P -- didn't even show up on our test system using a DVI input. Even after adding that resolution, however, there were still problems with 720P DVI support, and those problems extended to the HDMI and VGA inputs as well. For whatever reason, the aspect ratio control is wrong regardless of what you set it to when using 720P DVI. It only fills the center portion of the display, and if you select "Full" it stretches the output horizontally but not vertically. 720P is better on HDMI and VGA, but it's squished horizontally to fill a 16:10 AR, leaving black borders on the left and right. It's unfortunate, since 720P support can be important for certain devices (i.e. Xbox 360, PS3).Source

Is that an area of concern?
Shouldn't be a major issue since the panel is recommended by H3lios
, but just wondering. -

Just yesterday, I sneaked out of office and had a good punjabi meal complete with gobi parantha's,paneer parantha's, and lassi at
"Punjabi Tadka" opp to hometown ( Marathalli) Bangalore. I couldnt wipe the smile( of satisfaction) off my face after that.

Its a popular eatery and they are opening a new expanded facility right opposite to the present one(beside hometown) complete with airconditioning and stuff. On enquiry the owner said it will open before Diwali. I hope quality remains the same.

Recommend Bangalorean GI's to give it a try and commit the sin of gluttony.
