I see that you are noticing such an idiosyncrasy, first time?
Don't know about others but following ign(comments) for about 5 years and in every difficult game they write a -ve critising difficulty.. and everytime they write about some info they got from their reliable sources, it ends up being BS.
Good to see the game getting nice reviews.. Somehow everyone is determined not to give 10. lol at that 9.75

Am srsly sick and tired of Publishers posting BS vids and pics and then downgrading it.
Its been going on for so many games FC3,KZ2,Deep Down. Theres even a thread on GAF. fking scammers everywhere.
What? Far Cry 3? I think they didn't show fake footage for it. Game looks great even on ps3

I'm just one trophy away from platting it, but I'm too lazy to get all the titinate to make the boss weapons
I got tons of souls by invading as darkwraith. Never farmed any titanites, always bought them except for titanite chucks. But for boss weapons we don't need chucks. For crystal, lightning etc max weapons you can create a weapon at blacksmith, close game and reopen. That way you won't lose slab and chucks used after +10.
Even though the game has low rez textures the design more than makes up for it. In the end it looks gorgeous.

I agree with the bad looking part. Low rez texture all over the game, but the art design is top knoch.
They definitely didn't spike difficulty for the sake of it. Like I said its slow paced and almost zero reflexes guys also can have their way to defeat enemies. You just have to observe carefully and devise proper strategies. Just a bit of thinking is all the game needs.. In my defence, for dark souls 18% of ppl got platinum. That many ppl would not have plat it if its terribly difficult.

The hell its difficult. Its not difficult at all. Its just strict, you shouldnt let your guard down thats all.. Its slow paced and gives decent amount of time to think and comeup with counter attacks. Also all attacks of all bosses and enemies are can be dodged pretty easily if you observe them properly.. Its NOT made purportedly difficult at all..
After playing pvp matches for some time the campaign very well becomes like a "playing counter strike with bots". Many decently experienced opponents you can find in pvp matches are 10 times difficult than any boss in the game..
The difficult games are Ninja Gaiden, DMC 3 so on.. which are very fast paced as well as need some tactical approach..

It is not based on the $ rate, it is pegged depending on the wages of the area.
That is why there was a violent backlash when EA decided to go full retard and sell games like BattleField 4 / FIFA '14 for ~3499/- and above in India (for PC).
Makes sense. AU min wage per hr is known to be very high..

Its Australia, most PC games retail there for ~$79.99.
In India it will most probably be ~1999/- for the base game on PC. Worth it in my opinion if you like the game.
I have seen AU games overpriced in PSN(Dead Space 3 is 99AU$) but thought steam versions arent overpriced.. Its a surprise

So,I tried to NOT to peek into any of the BOSS FIGHT videos but on myriad forums this BOSS was told as the best Boss fight cutting across Demon souls,dark souls......couldn't resist myself and ...............YES!! this looks like the BEST boss fight after Artorias to me........

There are some pelanities if you die in DS 2, like your char looks more worn out and also some health reduction. In demons souls it used to be like this, but they removed it in DS.
