I know I am 7 years late but this game is the hardest game I’ve ever played. Yet I’m unable to put it down looking at cheese strategies
Master parry bro. It's not souls like in combat, you have to parry. There are bosses later in the game which are almost impossible to beat without parry.
In terms of mechanics, it's not as punishing as other souls games.

Waah @Zodnice I am also at level 53 now. This is best game I played in last few years and shits all over full priced AAA games. I was going to buy ghost of Yotei to play in December holidays but now no need. This game is absolutely fantastic and it's free
Imagine agreeing with @Zod

Looks amazing!
Will be delayed indefinitely of course!

It has micro transactions but it's only for cosmetics. There is no concept of pay to win, pay to level up etc.
I have played for 26 hours now but I haven't seen any need to buy anything.
Only those are spending money who want to showcase their characters in different costumes in multiplayer or buy costly multiplayer events like boats etc.
I don't think I will ever spend a single rupee in this game.
They will be adding new regions continuously. Snow region, desert region already shown. Then it will dream like realms etc. Crazy stuff to be given for free.

Played it for 3 hours yesterday. Plays okay, for some reason combat isnt as resppnsive, feels slightly laggy. No punch to combat.
Locations look good, but after playing FF16, the combat feels lackluster. I still dont think FF16 is a very good Final fantasy game but it was an excellent hack and slash
After playing this (coming from FF16 directly). FF16 combat felt lackluster to me. To each his own I guess.
The punchy feeling is indeed missing but that is because of trashy sound effect. Gets much better from mid game, when you get more weapons.

Gamingbolt was releasing like 5 videos every single day before its release, all were hyping up the game alone. So much so that there was a wave of unsubsription from the channel's subscribers.
They probably have taken so much money that they become completely blind. Just read comments from last week. They said stop but they keep on spamming videos after videos.
What a shitshow!

It wasn’t drift proof.
The selling point was that the stick itself could be replaced if it drifts instead of having to buy the whole controller.
But we don’t get standalone sticks in India.
Or hardly anywhere in the world.
Yes but I also remember it being some hall effect or some other tech which makes it harder to drift. I might be wrong.

Had a superb experience with a Sony service centre in Mumbai!
my 30th anniversary edge controller, bought nov 2024, was drifting and while I was totally expecting them to replace it, I was sure they’d give me a regular white instead given the limited no of units of the anniversary controller. To my surprise, I got a new one of the 30th anni edge in flat four days !
How come you have drifting issues in edge controller? Aren't they like Drift proof? That was one of the main sell for the controller.

Finished. My thirst for a proper hack n slash game has finally been quenched!!!
I think there are only 3 surviving hack n slash series exist as of now. DMC, Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden. Everything else is just diluted form of the genre.
Loved the combat of Yakumo. Felt fresh. Purgatories were awesome and I spent most of my time in those only. At around 30-45% sacrifice of health.
Apart from combat, there's nothing much though. Average graphics, excuse of a story and shallow characters. Level variety is also not that good. But who the f cares for all these when you have awesome gameplay! Bring it on!!!!
I hope they make another one soon.

Man that Radhan boss fight has been the worst so far, I bring him down to 70-80% of his health and he goes all kind of crazy, any tips ?
Yes. He is the worst.

Whoever thought of introducing a Purgatory needs a raise. Sooo much fun!

Damn man! This is sad! He was just a kid when he joined. He used to talk politely to everybody here.

Combat is soooo good. I am glad they went away with NG3 Stuff.

I rarely die. Get good.
n**** I've been playing Ninja Gaiden since my teen days, it's easier than Ninja Gaiden but doesn't mean you don't die. Liar!
Or perhaps you playing on easy mode

Man! I am ok with everything classic and arcad-y but why the f**k is there loading screen every time you die. In this type of game you obviously die a lot and it's fine but you gotta deal with 10 seconds loading screen eavh f**king time

Finished. Fantastic experience! Something fresh with solid Gunplay and smooth movement!
Didn't have much expectations when ut revealed and at first when it was revealed, I was thinking hacking before shooting every single time? It looked tedious but Capcom really pulled it off. I was totally hooked by the time I reached chapter 2. The game just gets better and better with a new weapon/hacking node in almost all new areas.
The bond between protagonist and an AI character Diana was so good that I felt emotional in the end.
There are lot of enemy variety as well, locations are different across each level and that came out as a surprise to me since I was just expecting tech facility/ship environments only.
Overall the game is a surprising hit for me. I hope Capcom makes a sequel. They have setup something fantastic and it should grow in sequels as well.
