I prefer a proper Dead Space clone rather than hybrid of survival horror and action game. But this looks good overall and I am gonna play for sure.

Haha. You have a point there. I am biased towards these kind of hack n slash so my judgment for sure is slightly clouded haha.

I think the "right" people would have messed it up by making the game more open with less invisible walls, that seems to be one of the main complaints of the game. But while others like openness, I hate it. I want a straightforward level design with enemies slash in style, which is exactly what this game is about. It doesn't even have any side quests, literally no BS, plain old school fun!

Yeah you can say it, it is kinda like old school but controls are modern and it plays like a PS5 game, no issues with controls or camera or graphics. Now I am pretty sure the reviewers are gonna be swayed by online public review and will try to down-score this game. It is honestly disheartening to see that a beautiful game like this receive unnecessary negative reception. Besides, the game has zero bugs, zero performance issues and looks better than majority of "premium" games out there. Playing on performance mode. It plays like a mix of DMC and Darksiders 1. World and levels are like Final Fantasy 7.

I doubt majority of the people who are hating on this game even played this game. They are complaining about the things which don't even exist in the game and have no clue what the game is about. I am enjoying every moment of this game. People are rating for the sale of it. It may end up my overall GOTY this year.

Yes. That's the word I was looking for in my last post. Punchy. Combat is great, so why not make it feel great and back it up with great sound effects.

Started this. So far so good. The only complain I have so far is overall sound. Sword and impact sound effects seem dumbed down, unlike other hack n slash where you feel the sword thrashing. Only at the start. Let's see how it goes. World has Final Fantasy vibes.

I have nothing to play right now but this game is releasing on 29th and it's a must play for me. Then just days later, Cronos is releasing. Then after few days Borderlands. And after there is Ghost of Yotei. f**k off Gaming world!!!

A 7.5/8 is a playable and enjoyable game. I am almost at the end, and I can say it's a solid 7.5/8 game. Reviewers were on point on this one. I think we should play games below 9 as well. Especially given the current context in gaming, where a game like this is super rare. Back then we used to have lot of narrative driven single player games with simple mechanics but it's the case anymore. I am enjoying a refreshing take.

Yeah it was a great experience, in the middle and towards the end, feels like something, not completely a movie, not completely a game, rather it sucks you in in it's world of its own. Fantastic experience.

Playing with zero issues. Check if your ps is updated or see some settings. I fiddled with settings as well, no issues whatsoever. Base PS5.

Apart from understanding the souls die penalty system. There is nothing much. You simply learn as you go. One thing though, master parry, the entire game from start to finish depends on parry and through that or other means, breaking enemy guard. You do that and you will flow through everything. If you play it like souls, you will die a lot. But since it's your first souls game, that's not a worry for you. Enjoy the best game of last generation.

My favourite is first one but I loved all 3. I also liked the fact how much different each game is to their previous installments.

Hell Yeah After so many years All 3 previous games were great and I couldn't get a chance to play that spin off side game. So now on full hype train! Kinda disappointed that Strife didn't get his own game as a protagonist. But at least we are getting something!

As a new souls player, you can try Bloodborne. Still looks and plays great. This one, despite spending most amount of time in any souls game, and completing it, I did not like it that much. I think the open world killed it. But that exact thing is what made people fall in love as well. I have many reasons not to love it as much as other From titles, will explain later some time but primary reason was too much openness and uneven difficulty. Oddly, I spent close to 90 hours and explored Almost all major areas.

Doesn't look anything like Wukong except similar sounding name. This seems more like a proper souls like. Something I am not looking for at the moment :/

Looks absolutely amazing! Sad that it's far off from the release date. Day 1 for me! Easy! Right now, we don't have much games but towards the end of this year and next year we have plethora of potentially great games coming.
