LolIVG been second home on Internet for me too.
13+ years now, so many memories so many friends, it's been such a ride. So many friends lost who don't visit IVG anymore, but still speak a lot on whatsapp and we still meet. It would be a crime to name a few and miss a few, so not calling out anyone, but you guys know.
True fact: I dumped my then girl friend as she thought i was spending too much time on IVG then with her [emoji38] No regrets!! -

Hell, even my brother tells them that if they can arrange oxygen, he is ready to clear some space in hospital despite half of our staff is not even coming since the rise of cases started, he is doing a lot of stuff by himself.

It seems like the variant in Maharashtra isn't as lethal as the one in North. Also Mumbai and Maharashtra seems better equipped to handle cases as condition was bad last year and Maharashtra isn't that dependent on neighbouring states like Delhi. Any hiding of deaths and cases in Maharashtra isn't possible because BJP in opposition makes so much noise even if a MP farts loudly. -

It is absolutely horrible here in Lucknow and I don't think any other city is that much affected. Probably Delhi/Mumbai, but I think death ratio is less there and our city not even remotely close to being densely populated as other metro cities. Here, almost all the people who tell us about their loved ones being Covid positive and ask for bed/oxygen, they pretty much report the same/next day that their affected person died!
I have never seen this much death in my entire life, not even close. My parents told me a story about a similar situation in 70s, I think it was named some Haija? When people get affected by chickenpox and died but they are saying this is worse actually!-

Up ain't showing proper numbers for Covid deaths especially. The number of deaths they are showing is not even close to the number in Lucknow!
Blood bath out there man. I have been coordinating between telegram groups and twitter. I am this close to just secretly leaking phone numbers of my relatives in delhi who have recovered but not doing it as they can be harassed. Instead will try to casually ask them their thoughts on donation.
No beds anywhere. Oxygen cylinders are over and only refilling available, no remdesivir or tocilizumab.
Only possible good news is that there is a sharp decline of cases in Pune.
And going by my twitter scanning things are pretty much under control in south India.
Delhi and UP are going through the worst. -

My brother owns a hospital, it is practically ours and almost 2-3 (at least 1 daily) patients are dying of Corona from our hospital alone! It has become a Covid hospital now and govt undertook it since yesterday! There are still deaths happening and it is just the number of 1 hospital.
129 deaths is not even the number of deaths in Lucknow
what will they achieve by showing less numbers? It will only give people courage to go outside!!! Edit: Not political at all, just let you guys know to be safe!

He got shifted from my hospital to another Covid hospital in Barabanki because no beds available in here and oxygen shortage, but he didn't like it there and felt strange and lonely and called and shout to have him. Shift back to my hospital. My brother and their family members started the process of shifting and before anyone could start he died. I think it is this calling and shouting that proved critical as his oxygen was already very low
I am so depressed right now this is the second death that was very close to me. Moreover, both my parents have fever for about a month now. Thankfully they are recovering and covid free but this news again made them weak
