Cyberpunk 2077's wall running scrapped due to design reasons
So they have now cut out
- 3rd Person cut-scenes
- Wall-running
- The Techie class
- Flathead Bot
- Vehicle Customization
- Using Wardrobes to change your outfit
- Customizable apartments
- Subway rides
And still 5 months to go
I have been following this game pretty extensively now and some of these features were never fully confirmed. So saying that all of these features were "cut" gives a wrong impression. Namely -
These features were never there or at least promised.
- Vehicle Customization
- Subway Rides.
Features that they actually showcased or confirmed which actually got cut are
- Flathead bot
- Wall-running (Even though it was shown for 2 seconds as part of Mantis Blade gameplay)
- Customizable Apartments.
These features need more clearance upon and i'll do that.
- 3rd person cut-scenes - They are still there but for very important moments - this was always the intended case, people just assumed that it was going to be heavy on third person scenes because of 2018 demo i'd assume, even though majority of it was in first person.
- Techie Class - It mostly was about crafting and support perks which have NOT been removed, they are just moved now to "Crafting" and "Engineering"..Techie was supposed to have that and Flathead as feature and they apparently said that it felt too much like Netrunner so they just removed the bot, not the "class"
- Using Wardrobes to change your outfit - Skillup mentioned this, but he was referring to the 2018 demo where V picked a jacket from wardrobe, it doesn't mean you can't change your clothes. You just go to your inventory now instead of your wardrobe, which was obviously a placeholder if you look back at the demo.

Playing this game properly now. Unlocked ranked yesterday and played some of it to rank 6. People said that this game is generous but finding it yourself is an awesome experience.
I usually complete the two tiers of dailies and i am opening an average of 3 kegs, sometime more depending on ranked or level up reward. I don't know how long it's going to go but i am getting an epic every 2-3 packs. Also opened some legendaries and picked Hjalmar as there might be a nerf to him and i really need scraps for some Nilfgaard legendaries.
Best thing for me is that i can enjoy the game at my pace and don't feel like i am grinding as much as HS.

The game has gone through so many big changes, weather for one was or is the most hard thing to balance in the game and i think they are getting there.. Other than that the developers are really active on the forums, reddit and the discord. You can usually ask something or report and they are quick to reply..Here are some of the changes that people might have missed if you weren't following the game for a while.
- The ranked season lasts for 2 months and they add 20 new cards after a season, not including any expansions..
- There is a reward page in the game which tells you how much you can earn daily, by leveling up or by ranking up.
- Also they have introduced a new currency called meteorite powder which lets you upgrade your cards into premium ones without spending scraps.. You earn these by playing daily or by ranking up.
- They have also made all the leaders available through playing against AI. So you don't need to craft them like you needed to during the starting days of the beta.
- They also provide a starter deck consisting of several useful epics and legendary for every class.
One of my biggest criticism has to be the UI and the visual effects and they have stated that most of these are placeholders at the moment..Other than that the developers and the community is really active for this game, so if anyone played the game during the early days of KTS or closed beta you should give it a try..Also the game is based on several books and they are planning to add single player content as well, so i highly doubt they are running out of characters any time soon.
Also the official tournament is a must watch..It really had great production value.

Yes those guys were nerfed after a week after the release..That one angel in particular who is in the swamp area was the most annoying..They were supposed to be even tougher prior to release according to some streamers..

You know I thought the same thing after the first playthrough but eventually BB became my most played Souls(like) game. No matter what anyone says there is quite a bit of build variety in this game and although the weapons might be fewer they're far unique than the weapons in the Souls series.
Personally, I didn't find Ebrietas that difficult, mildly annoying but not hard. Generally takes me 2-3 retries.
Well you can pick them up yourself in a week. Just jump into it, take it slow and don't get frustrated with deaths. Learn gun parry and enemy behavior. It's not a complex game.
After defeating Ook no other boss comes close for me in terms of difficulty..He kinda reminded me of time when i had trouble beating Ornstein and Smough as DS1 was my first souls game. He is just one of the most well rounded boss in any souls game, if it wasn't for him i would have said DS3 bosses gave me more trouble than BB.Though i am not looking forward to fight him again with any other build
. My problem with Ebrietas was her charge attack, it was more annoying than anything. And i def agree on the weapons part, the weapons in general are very unique but my main motivations for other souls game were to make builds for PVP, and i don't see myself paying for ps plus for this game, hence not enough motivation for new builds..That and i have the habit of rushing games when i play on PC but in this case i took my time to explore almost everything. At the moment I am trying to clear these chalice dungeons to get Platinum for this game and if i missed anything i might go for them in my other skill oriented build.
Also i have also found the enemies that i detest the most..The giant shark monsters in the well in Fishing hamlet..Screw those guys.

Oh you didn't play pre-nerf Earthen Peak ruin in the ringed city..Those laser angels turned the game into a stealth one.

Bought a ps4 few weeks ago, this game being the primary reason for it. The game reminds me a lot of DS1 because of all the original and unique setting. Though i liked the areas in DS3 a lot, in BB they are just much more interesting..All the secret areas are tricky to find and have their own set of bosses and stuff to do. The bosses in general didn't give me much trouble.. But the ones that gave me the most trouble are Ebrietas with it's bullshit charge attack and Orphan of kos with everything he does..
Ebrietas made me put down the controller and i came to defeat it after Gherman but I am yet to defeat orphan of kos. Though i haven't played Demon souls, this guy has to be the one of the most troublesome boss if not the most troublesome..You get somewhat used to his first phase but in his second phase he just goes bat-sh*t insane with very little openings..The guy has insane amount of HP, does tons of damage, is insanely fast ,can't be staggered easily and can fly in his second phase. They should have just added another orphan and made it twins of kos and be done with it.
So the bosses that are left are Orphan of kos and the one that comes after Gherman. Also some bosses in chalice which i am not keen on doing as it's definitely the most boring part of the game.
In general really loved the game, though i don't see myself playing it multiple times like i did with other souls game. Maybe another playthrough with a skill oriented build.

The game just had an official tournament worth 100000$. While my expectations were really low as this was game's first tournament it actually ended up being really exciting. If anyone is keeping up with the game and likes to watch eSports event i really recommend it.
You can check the full VOD on CDPR's channel or just the highlight.
Also there is going to be a developer stream on future of gwent and possibly a date for open beta on cdpr's channel.

Building a collection at this moment is pointless imo. The game is far from being finished and not all developers gives refund for every change they make to a card. And correct me if i am wrong but isn't Bethesda giving out full dust for nerfed card only? and not the buffed one.
I'd expect such things when the game releases or goes in open beta. Otherwise we don't even know whether or not we are going to keep our collection if any wipe happens. And according to their FAQ if a wipe does happen, only people who have spent money will get any kind of refund.

As far as i know it's just for leaders.

Except all bosses having same shield phase which gets really annoying, the game is excellent so far. Playing on the hardest difficulty i am at level 10 or so at the moment. If anyone wants to play co-op you can add me on Steam.

Thinking of buying and playing with you guys as 4 player coop. However combat doesnt seem as fluid as dark souls or witcher or creed. Just nonsensical monster killing with powers. No strategies, or tactics... Easy/tough monsters.... Shoot shoot shoot... Slash slash slash
Well yeah.. The game is more in line with Doom and Borderlands 2 instead of those third person game you mentioned. So if you like those shooter you are probably going to like it.
-
My bad, I played non stop so didn't really pay attention.
-
Played straight for three hour or so,didn't get any crashes and was always able to find an opponent except maybe at the start. Played almost equal amount of matches with both Northern realm and Monster. This is really early stage but few things that concerned me were Medics and that godamn OPERATOR card.
-
As far as i remember Dark souls 2 was the only souls game that gave bonus things. Every other game just had expansions and that's it.
-
They have overhauled Gwent massively. It's not the witcher 3 version for online, but a more balanced and lot more polished (New art and everything). Although i like the more dark and gritty artstyle of Legends it still gets a bit boring after sometime of playing. Small things like golden cards, sounds that card makes just seems so meh. Their crafting system is exact copy of Hearthstone.
All my criticism are regarding the UI and the overall feel of the game which is a good thing, because i really like the lane and the rune mechanics. Interacting with your enemy turn is what i really hoped Hearthstone had.
Also while we are talking about Gwent just look at these Premium cards(aka golden cards)
-
Dropped the game after Karazhan came out. What a disappointment it was, In my opinion this was the most boring expansion. Tried legends for few weeks, really liked some of the mechanics but felt it was very dull in presentation(makes sense because it is in beta). Can't wait for GWENT beta to start, that game looks really good and it is a bit different from these other card games.

Don't want priest to get the Shaman treatment, that's just boring. But i don't know why they print cards like SW:Horror or tentacles and even Herald, even at this point they should know that their game is heavily tempo based and printing these high cost cards doesn't help. Heck if you want to give high cost cards at least make them good and impactful like Lightbomb. if the priest player gets auchenai + circle on turn 4 he might win otherwise he will lose that's how things are atm.
And don't get me started on C'thun decks! It's like they are built to counter priest - 4 mana 4/2 with divine shield, 7 mana 4/6 taunts x2, 4 mana 4/10 BrokeBack.
#MakePriestMediocoreAgain!

Please blizzard give priest some good cards ! This meta has been horrible to play as a Priest
. Also won't mind some good cards for Rogue to deal with all these Shaman and Hunters on ladder these days.

Information for this game is really all over the place huh..They were almost always very hush hush about these features with the usual "we can't confirm it yet" so i assumed that they were not 100%, specially since the features that are there were widely talked about as compared to these. But i guess they did let it slip in few interviews or facebook messages. Fair enough.
