This umpire call is such a farce

The margins are very stupid. It would be one thing it the ball was barely flicking the bails and the umpire's call stood. But even when the ball is fully taking the bail out, it's still being held up as umpire's call. 50% is too much.

Kohli has won 33 matches and lost 13 matches out of 56 he has captained since 2014 when dhoni resigned midway Australia tour. His win percentage is 59% which is the highest for any Indian captain till date. Don't know what people are smoking when they ask he shouldn't be test captain. His team selection is often controversial but no one can deny his stats as captain. Also he has the best batting average in the team as a batsman since he was made captain. What else you want more?

Don't compare Kohli the RCB captain with Kohli the test captain.

Also, if Rahane wouldn't have sold Kohli down the river in first match he would have made a big score and our lead would be quite high with a different result probably. People have fickle memory.

Great emoji817.png by Rahane today. Aussies returned the favor of dropping catches. That head drop on last ball will haunt him for the rest of the series. Pant's 29 is gonna go under the radar big time but his little innings managed to break the shackles for us and made the scoring easier by upping the run rate which gave Rahane the confidence to play positively too. Jadeja batted beautifully and I hope he makes a 50+ tomorrow.

A lot of that is stat padding by beating WI away and weaker teams at home.

Can't take away last year's series win in Australia though, that remains the greatest achievement by an Indian cricket team that I've ever seen.

Where I think Kohli fails is he sometimes lets the game drift away and let's an advantage slip after we've done well. There have been far too many matches we've lost due to lower order partnerships after removing the top order cheaply. He also seems to make bizzare bowling changes.

Most of those matches we have won under him were those we were expected to win. We failed in South Africa (2017-18) and England (2018). Should have won that England series, but gave up advantage multiple times. His inability to accept responsibilty after failure is also worrying.

Sala World Cup 2003 final ki yaadein taaza kar di. When our top bowler Zaheer was carted around the park and Aussie Captain (Ponting) scored a crazy fast hundred. I hope we give a better reply than we gave in that match.

    Yeah, I'm happy for him.

He put a lot of personal wealth on line for this.

Govt should do justice, let him price it the way he deems right while subsidize for poor with state money.

    Govt didn't invest anything?

I'd much rather prefer govt buys the vaccine stocks outright and then puts it on sale for a reasonable price to the general public and free for those eligible under various schemes.

We need a new animal to eat man. Bored of chicken, mutton and fish. Scared to eat pork in India and don't like beef.

I'm assuming you're scared of pork because of tapeworms? It is not a problem if you fully cook the meat. Beef can also carry tapeworms.

There are many more animals we can eat, but they're less common and difficult to obtain. You could try rabbits, ducks, wild boars (hunting them is illegal), quail (लावरी), eggs of different birds, including crow. With fish and other seafood, you have more options than all the land animals put together. There's a fisherwoman here in Dombivli who sometimes even sells rays and sharks.

fear of corona in people is over i guess.

I've read some articles about it. They call it 'corona fatigue.' It has nothing to do with the virus. After months of strictly following rules, people have become tired and want to get back to their normal, old routines.

I probably have 50 masks in my car yet I had to shell out 500 rs in fine today. I wasn't wearing a mask in my car and my dad was in the car with me. Thankfully he was wearing one and we didn't end up paying 1000 rs.

The fine is stupid if I am in the car with a family member. But what can be done. Rules are rules.

Whole family is smug that of all the people I am the one who got caught mask less after all the hype I created at home about not going out at all and getting everything home delivered even now.

The masks inside cars rule is completely stupid. This is what happens when babus and netas with no knowledge of medicine or fluid dynamics get to make the rules.

If you roll the windows up (which everyone does), you already have a much more effective bubble than a mask.

Went to buy some medicine yesterday, a girl on scooty was wearing mask. To my bewilderment, she removed the mask after getting down and went to a shop without the mask  Gaadi pe mask pehen ke aayi behen aur niche utarte time nikal diya like wtf

    Just Pune things. ?

  9. A relative (brother-in-law of my cousin brother) died of Covid related complications yesterday. He was around 45-50 years old and had high blood sugar. Was admit for 21 days, then discharged after he tested negative. Just one day later he had a heart attack and died.

Testing negative is not enough. It causes severe damage to the lungs and blood vessels and increases chances of having a stroke, heart attack, pneumonia, etc. later on.

Those who have survived need to be very careful.

  10. Is a private test possible? Can non-Govt doctors prescribe a Covid test? Get it done immediately.
Also get a chest scan done, as it can show if there is infection in lungs are not.

Better to get tested and admited now with mild symptoms than wait for shortness of breath and pneumonia.
