This is false. The blacks in America have been there for atleast 10 or more generations. They are all mixed race (white as well as black ancestry) too. Vaccinations do not work for multiple generations. Some like TT don't even last for one person's lifetime.

In America, black people tend to live in ghettos with poorer sanitation and are generally from a lower income group (so poorer nutrition, worse immune system etc.). All of these may be factors that are not being considered. It may not be just genetic. Would like to see how things are in countries of Europe where black people are less marginalised. Also, it is never a good idea to use martial force on civilians for something like this. There are no riots going on. This lockdown needs to be enforced by the civilian police not the army. In Dombivli they have installed barricades at important roads. No one is allowed to cross without good reason (and proof of that). Is the army going to chalk up a good plan deliver all food materials to people at home, so they don't have to come out at all? Because people have to will keep coming out otherwise.

Here Grofers is open to taking orders for a day or two, then shuts down for 2-3 days while they fulfill the backlog of orders before opening for 1-2 days again. Bigbasket is not delivering to our city at all (maybe they never did). DMart has a huge outlet here but DMart Ready doesn't work here. I am most likely going to make my next grocery order from my Grofers or my usual kiranawala, who takes orders on phone and keeps it ready. Normally he'd deliver it home, but now he doesn't have staff for that so we have to pick it up. As for vegetables and meat we have to go out once or maybe twice a week.

You don't get my point. Eggs can last outside fridge for a long time too. There just aren't enough eggs in the market that everyone can buy a month's stock.

Not everyone has the means to stock up. You need enough space to store stuff for a month, and a big enough fridge that can keep things fresh for that long. Plus enough cash to buy all of that in one go. Most people lack one or more of these things. Today is 10th of the month, the day when workers traditionally get paid. Everyone has got their salaries in their last week and a half only, so those who can stock up must be doing it right now. Also you can buy one month of stock for foodgrains and pulses as there are enough reserves but that is not possible for fresh stuff like vegetables, meat, eggs, milk etc which are sold as they are produced. If people buy a month of stuff at one go, then a small portion of the people will have a month of stock, and the rest of the people will have nothing. Every week, only a week's worth of supply can come to the market. It is impossible for everybody to stock up for the future when supply is like this. The chickens that most people will eat at the end of this month are too small right now; same for the the eggs which haven't been laid yet and the vegetables that are still in the field.
