  1. Because whatever their plan was, has worked.
  2. Bat for the next 1.5-2 hours and we will be safe.
  3. Expecting a full day's play today.
  4. The situation is similar to the Lord's Test in the 2019 Ashes. Cricinfo Scorecard: Eng vs Aus, 2nd Test, 2019 Ben Stokes scored very quickly after lunch and England set Australia a near impossible target with half the day left. Key should be to go to lunch tomorrow with as few wickets as possible. Then if the option for accelerating and setting a target is there, Pant, Jadeja could be useful.
  5. The first and second sessions actually have a great timing. Only the final session goes late. Also because it is so sunny, they could shift the first session to a slightly earlier time (like this did for this final). Staying up late beats watching day after day get drowned out by rain. Match very well poised now, should bat positively for 2 sessions and not think about any declaration targets or lead at the moment.
  6. Or West Indies. They also host their home matches May-July.
  7. These are under 100 all out conditions. 150 from 75 overs with only 4 wickets down is more than welcome. We don't need to score 400-500 in the first innings here like we do at home. Hopefully we can cross 250 from this position. Dissapointing shot from Rahane, he was playing well.
  8. Well played. Good position to be in considering the conditions. 350 (maybe even 300) should be matchwinning.
  9. How to do this? What documents are needed?
  10. I noticed this during both the waves in villages near Dombivli. Whenever even one person gets infected, infection spreads through the whole village population within a week or two. People are just so much more social there and shutting down all interactions with your neighbours and extended family is impossible more than a few days.
  11. That has never happened in English cricket history.
  12. Rest and if you don't feel well, ask your doctor what to do. Don't take too much paracetemol. More than 2 tablets of 650 mg a day are rarely prescribed. 4 grams is enough to cause liver failure.
  13. In general, vaam tastes like... fish? The flakes are thin, the taste is mild and the skin is thick and fatty. Also the bones are easy to remove. If you have never eaten before you'd think its just some fish. Don't think it is fair to call names just because it is long and snakey, when the other guy here is a water bug that eats dirt. I cooked it like we usually make fish curries. No onion, instead using grated coconut, garlic and tomato, jeera and mirchi powder. Can't speak for Singapuri recipes. It is possible you could have disliked some of the other fish they cook in that style as well. You don't need to specifically develop a taste for it if you like eating fish. Normally we eat it fried, tastes great. @Right
  14. Bought some vam (eel) and prawns for relatively cheap today at a wholeseller. Had to drive off road to a village nearby to save a few hundred Rs. Made some vam rassa and kolbi bhat (prawns rice) from it today.
  15. Govt. is doing nothing to Ramdev because he is making a distraction and taking govt's failure out of the equation. Instead of questioning whether Govt or doctors didn't do their job right, the discussion is being moved to whether doctors and modern medicine itself is to blame. Why would they take any action?
  16. There is a minutephysics video that explains this very well. N95 is a mask rating that means the mask blocks 95% of the medium sized particles. There are also N99 masks that block 99%.
  17. Paper - Face masks effectively limit the probability of SARS-CoV-2 transmission
  18. Yes the practice of throwing bodies into the river has been going on for a long time. My tuition teacher told us this anecdote 15-20 years ago. Someone he knew was taking a dubki and got hit by a human hand that was floating in the river. Number of bodies right now might be higher because of many more deaths than usual due to Covid, and long lines at samshans.
  19. Bumrah is excellent at swinging the ball both ways. Remember that Jennings wicket? Or the pile of wickets he took in the West Indies (Duke ball if I'm not wrong).
  20. Looking just at the numbers, the death rate doesn't seem to be different from before, but the deaths and cases numbers don't seem to be very reliable.
  21. Very sorry to heal about your loss @sobbii
