Just completed the opening mission. I didn’t find it fun at all. I think I’m done with gaming. Didn’t even have to reach Lois Lane part.

Good game? Heard the Lois Lane missions are annoying.

I mean, is it like a horror movie? I found Predator very easy to watch.

How intense is Prey? I want to watch it but I don't think I am in the mood to watch a survivalist horror movie right now.

It happens when the movies are technically well made like Pacific Rim, Rogue One, Dune and The Batman.

John Woo's Hard Target was super fun! Predator was good. Not as intense as I thought it'd be though. Enemy of the State was engaging. Gene Hackman made it worth the watch. I think Tony Scott consistently made some entertaining movies. Not sure why critics hated him though.

Most of these YouTube video essayists are bitter losers. I always ignore them.

I was planning to build a 5.1 setup but no more!

Yup! I really did not like the sound quality! Fiddled with the settings (speaker size, crossover, sound mode, formats whatnot) for a couple of days with and without the subwoofer but it made no difference whatsoever! I thought it was the speakers or just my subwoofer being entry-level and not capable enough to blend well with passive speakers or both! I sent the receiver back and ordered Topping PA3s as last hope. Before it arrived, I searched some online forums and found some users complaining about Denon sound quality and their receivers lacking in bass. Anyway, the amp finally arrived and I immediately noticed the difference! Clean, smooth and pleasant sound! Not noisy like before! Even the bass is better! Only thing that did not change much is the soundstage which was already great even with the receiver! I then tried the speaker level input/output on my subwoofer for 2.1 setup and holy sh*t, it's great!

Wow! Denon X550BT AVR sucks so much! Terrible sound quality! Even the bass with a subwoofer is incredibly weak! I tried a Chinese AMP called Topping PA3s and now my new 2.1 setup sounds incredible!

After 3 months, I can finally walk on my two legs again. Feels weird, honestly. I think it will take some time to build up the confidence.

AVShack.in 25.7K I don't have one. I am currently looking at a used Denon 550 BT AVR locally. 3030i was a little out of budget. Plus I already have an entry level subwoofer. M20 costs over 40K IIRC. I could buy a pair of 3010is alongside for surround and enjoy a decent 4.1 setup instead. I picked up QA because I read they are good for long listening sessions.

Given the deadlines and the insane amount of last minute changes MCU has been forcing since Iron Man 2, what these VFX artists have had to deal with is considered legendary in the industry apparently!

Last night, while I was trying hard to sleep, I heard a female voice whisper "Babu" from behind. It couldn't have been some illusion because the voice was VERY clear and close! And it wasn't the first time I experienced something like this. Several months ago, while I was trying hard to sleep same as last night, I heard female voices back to back from behind, just in a different bedroom. And then once in the evening, while I was watching TV, I thought it was my mother calling my name from balcony, but she was sitting right next to me and there was nobody else there! These voices are always so clear and so close that I refuse to believe they are illusions! If it was the younger me, I'd be sh*tting in my pants right now. Now, I am just curious lol.

I heard most of the VFX was done by a team of only 5 people!
