    You don't agree with those nonsensical dreams? I didn't get it all. What was the point of it?

     

     

    I take it as PTSD. Notice how those dreams start with the sound of terraforming machine (though I don't understand the exact meaning behind the Man-bat one). The Knightmare scene has also got something to do with time-travel stuff and isn't exactly a dream.

    Welp. Finally got around the ultimate edition of of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ft. Batman, and...it was decent.

    Overlong with nonsensical dreams, awkward pace and what not, but if you can get through first painful 90 minutes, you might actually end up liking. Of course, you have to like Superman first.

     

    Good stuff:

    • Superman. This might probably the best Superman movie we will ever get.
    • Cinematography was amazing. The vibe were very similar to Watchmen. Absolutely gorgeous.
    • Music was fantastic. Was squealing when Shostakovich's Waltz was playing in the background. 9v1rIpG.gif

    Bad stuff:

    • Batman was nothing special. Felt like side character.
    • Nonsensical dreams.

    Excited for/questions:

    • Who was that demon like in the end?
    • Those 3 boxes?
    • Want to see ruthless version of Lex.
    • What was Lex blabbering in the end? He was talking about that demon?

     

    Better actor for Lois, and Rosenbaum should have got Lex role. Eisenberg doesn't fit.

    Overall, better than Marvel crap and Man of Steel, but prefer the Nolan's trilogy when compared.

     

    A decent watch. First half: 4/10. Second half: 6/10.

     

    I completely agree with the bolded part. You can tell this story about Superman without including Batman and to be honest, he has nothing much to do with the story and his role has very less effect on Superman. He is there just for setting up the Justice League. I am excited though!

     

    As I said before, Zack gets DC characters and knows how to tell interesting stories about em.

    I am planning to share a couple of games with a trusted friend from IVG. There are few things I am not sure about though, so please help me understand...

     

    1. While he is playing a shared game, will I be able to play a different game from my library that is not shared?
    2. Will he be able to play the shared games offline or do we both need to be online all the time in order to?

    Snydra is the man with The Midas Touch..every DC movie he touches will be gold for sure :P in Snydra we trust.I'm pretty sure one of his DCEU movies will get an Oscar for the best picture.Yeah Martin Scorsese,Steven Spielberg and Nolan you gotta step your game up if you wanna stay in Hollywood :P

     

    Batman v Superman is a greater, memorable and far more complex film than any film Marvel has ever produced. If you are not aware, Civilol War has already been forgotten like a fart. Now fight..

    I hope suicide squad and justice league build into injustice storyline :P

     

    They are currently sticking with Snydra's plans for DC Universe. So do not expect Injustice happening for another 5 years from the release of Green Lantern Corps, which is slated for 2020. If Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League receive the same backlash as Batman v Superman did, it won't happen for another 3-4 JL films. They have to start it again from scratch. If they do not, there won't be any drastic changes in the tone and we could get it sooner (than expected). So let's hope they do well, especially Justice League.

    They are Suicide Squad. An expendable villainous team to assembled by Argus (shady government organisation which deals with metahumans) to deal with even bigger threats. All of the villains in squad are prisoners, and are forced to be on squad. Everyone has a chip in their neck which can be remotely detonated by Argus chief Amanda Waller. So they are like anti heroes. So as such, no one is against them.

     

    Main villain of the movie is Enchantress.

    And Batman guest appearance is confirmed.

    Nightwing and The Flash are rumored too.

    how about that blacked out one? :naughty:

     

    It's not what you think it is :P

     

    I bought it long ago and have already invested more than 50 hours into it (another 50 hours can be added to the playtime on PS4 platform). No clue why it is in the recently bought games list. It's Arkham Knight by the way if you are wondering. :P

    Naah...it sucks....a platformer like Rayman origins has much better gameplay :P

     

    Coming back to game...saw a video on youtube, where the game was running on X360...i thought it looks gr8 on PS3, but on 360 it looks like a different game altogether :(

     

    That's why I am playing it on X360. :P

     

    IQ is superb for a last-gen game and upscaling it to 1080p somehow helps with aliasing!

     

    Makes the experience much better! Wish there was a way to take screenshots though. :(

    Love these games from the overrated developers, you know , where when you start dissecting their gameplay, its nothing special or even great but still feel like playing them like 4 times.

     

    I wonder what made him go through the entire game for like 4 times. If it was just because of story, he could've simply downloaded the cutscenes off of YouTube. What else was in the game?

     

    Please don't say gameplay.

    Snake can do billion other stuff that nate can't, I'm not making an one on one comparison here.

     

    we are talking about the level of interaction and depth that both characters offer for the player

     

    Also they are comparable since both are 3rd person have stealth/Action.

     

    BTW snake can climb cliff with his bare hands

    Gameplay is a broad term. Mechanics are the core part of a game, part where player presses buttons and things happen on screen. I'm criticizing the core of ND games not the entire game. Crafting, exploration, NPC interaction are part of a gameplay experience but they are not the core.

     

    Lets compare mechanics of MGSV and uncharted 4

     

    There are 7-10 different move sets and each requires different inputs from the player giving more agency and control over your character but in uncharted you just press "Square" and the game does everything for you, animation are incredible but all player is doing is pressing a single button. If you want to steal a weapon, you can do that in MGSV, if you want use guards as shied you can do that in MGSV, you can throw, chock, kill, wall slam, interrogate, hold and much more, you cannot do any of that in a ND games. are thier games fun? yes but i don't find them unique.

     

    This is wrong on so many levels!

     

    One is a linear action-adventure game and the other is a complete open-world tactical espionage. So it should make perfect sense when you don't find so many different set of moves, crafting, exploration options and NPC interactions in Uncharted as you do in Metal Gear Solid. This is truly a baseless discussion as Hope was saying.

    Which game is better according to you Tlou or RDR?

     

    Both are equally good in my opinion, but are also radically different. One is an intense post-apocalyptic while the other is a fun western game. Can't be compared in many ways except maybe in terms of gameplay and even if it's the case, they are still perfect for their respective worlds.

     

    However, the former game you mentioned could get exhausting after a while, but we can't truly complain about it considering it's nature. Red Dead on the other hand, we can have fun with it for longer duration. That is all I can say!

    I haven't seen many third-person shooters with such impressive and solid mechanics - especially when we take The Last of Us and Uncharted 4 into consideration. I'd say they are on par with Metal Gear Solid.

     

    Yes they are rich in story, set-pieces and production values and it's true that they are some of the major selling points for their games, but at the same time they wouldn't be the same had they been incorporated with piss poor gameplay mechanics. Get what I am saying?

    How will it help the brand in future, if DC movies don't attract large crowds? If they are not huge commercial success, WB will eventually stop making them:p

    Warner bros claim to have achieve break even at 800million usd while the total earning was 850-900million for b vs s.

    I actually liked the movie, but if another dc movie gets negative critic reviews, I don't think they would be able to emulate the same success and numbers as B vs S.

     

    There are many films that are now considered as some of the great in many categories despite how poorly they were received by the critics and how badly they performed at box-office at their time. I am not saying Batman v Superman is ahead of its time or is the best, but rather underrated in its genre and completely overshadowed by its critical reception which the theatrical cut deserved. (There's Ultimate Cut which has fixed most of the issues although very late, but I think it's one of the best Superhero movies out there. So why don't you think it will help the brand in future?

     

    WB has invested too much in DC already. They are sitting on a goldmine, but if all the movies till Justice League fail, there will of course be drastic changes. It may not help the brand. But if the said movies are decent and tell some meaningful stories about Superheroes despite collecting less than Marvel movies, I don't see it not happening?
