  1. If there had been other games of similar scale showcasing the richer or at least half-decent side, I too would've gladly joined you. However, for some reason, almost every first major entertainment product from our country tends to focus on the less appealing aspects. There needs to be some balance.
  2. Nobody complained about games like Raji though!
  3. Indians: We need our own Wukong! Bollywood: Let's remake Wukong! This is why we're a joke! Any citizen of a country would choose a beautiful location to showcase their rich culture and heritage to the world, but what do Indians do? They pick a slum! Why worry about China or Pakistan when we have our own citizens?

    Doom: Dark Ages

Not sure how challenging that would be. Let's see if they were able to preserve at least half of the tension that Eternal had.

    Doom: Dark Ages

It says STAND AND FIGHT, so I'm not sure. Definitely feels jarring after playing DOOM Eternal.
  6. I agree, it's definitely a weird execution, but dog owners are saying it's relatable in the comments, so it seems to be working unless of course they are biased lol. Either way, the sneak peak is getting slightly mixed reactions. Seems like many are underwhelmed.
  7. It's clearly designed to get "aww... so cute!" reactions to help sell Krypto merchandise.
  8. Yasuke was indeed known as a black samurai long before Ubisoft even announced the game. They didn't invent him just for this one thing. I know it's none of my business, but from personal experience, don't follow those foreign RW trolls on X. They will shamelessly lie about everything.
  9. I was talking in terms of features like high refresh rate, G-Sync/Freesync etc. Otherwise, yes, this would be good.
  10. It's BenQ PD2506Q. Not a gaming monitor mind you.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Couldn't remember the story since I left it midway a while ago, so I restarted the game, and I have to say, it looks stunning in DLSS 4 - DLAA. The image quality is super sharp at 1440p and with HDR and film grain enabled, one could mistake it for 4K. Curious how RDR2 looks because it always looked blurry below 4K even with DLSS(older versions).
  12. I know it's a TV thread, but I'm blown away by the HDR technology on my monitor. Even if it's only DisplayHDR 400 certified, the difference is clearly noticeable, especially in gaming. It also easily adds extra life to the titles released during the PS360 generation. Coming to live-action, while some movies are subtle, some like John Wick Chapter 4 (where there's so much pop in every freaking frame ) look absolutely stunning from start to finish. Nvidia's RTX HDR feature also helps with YouTube and locally stored videos (thanks to modders). Hope some affordable mini-led HDR monitors with peak brightness of 1000 nits are released here soon.
  13. Don't know much about this series, but this looks like my kind of game. Adding it to the wishlist.

    Doom: Dark Ages

Doom: The Dark Ages was inspired by Batman comics, 300, and letting players be ‘a big, heavy Slayer’ When game director Hugo Martin discussed “Doom: The Dark Ages,” three images spring up over the discourse. The first is Leonidas in the “300” battling the Persians at the Hot Gates in Thermopylae. The second is another Frank Miller project “The Dark Knight Returns” and the last one is a tank. “You can stagger multiple enemies at once with these weapons of mass destruction and then move through them like Leonidas in the Hot Gates,” he explained, referring to the iconic sequence in Zack Snyder’s film adaptation of 300. “There’s that side shot of where they’re dilating time and he’s taking out multiple dudes, first with his spear, then with his spartan sword and shield,” Martin continued. “That was a big source of inspiration. I showed that to the team. I wanted the game to feel like that. There’s actually subtle dilations in the speed of the game when you perform these, so it feels just like that”. “With [Doom] 2016 we built out the history of the world and gave our hero a past, like you’re supposed to, and then you just hope fans like it enough that you get to explore it,” Martin revealed, and this decision to wind back the clock. “Medieval Doom, a big heavy Slayer… ‘Slayer: Year One’. Frank Miller’s vision of a Doom Slayer, that just sounds awesome”, he says referring to the classic 1987 Batman comic, Year One, which reinvented readers’ perception of the caped crusader by offering a darker, more ambitious tale about his early career. “I’ve been thinking about it for so long. We all have”. Source: https://www.mirror.co.uk/gaming/doom-dark-ages-inspired-batman-34539144
  15. Oh, nice! Samsung G6 OLED is what I'm also looking at. Thanks for the reply!
  16. What displays are you guys using for PC gaming? Mind sharing the exact models?
  17. Yeah, it's basically Heat with a good twist. There's a sequel coming too! Here's the trailer (spoils part one btw):
  18. I was actually joking after looking at that price. I think RDR2 is quite repetitive and doesn't progress much; it mostly runs in circles. I also didn't like how they undermined John Marston. Even in the epilogue, they gave more importance to Sadie Adler. Still bitter about that.
  19. Oh. Actually, I think RDR2 is better, which I'm replaying right now anyway. Will wait for sale.
  20. Finally, the best RDR game is now coming to PC. Also supports DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.0 and DLSS frame generation (bad port incoming?!) This announcement should also confirm the Expanded and Enhanced Edition of GTA V for PC.
