    saw dhobi ghat...liked the movie...seeing many people here did not like,slept :P ,found it boring...not sure what sort of movie they had expected...but it turned out the way i had thought it would be..the movie is bit slow no doubt...but i have enjoyed slower ones then this :P ..the stories were well told...all the characters did their job really good..and felt sad for the

    suicide case

    ...all the people seemed really real,and at times it just felt as if i am being a voyeur and peeping right into their life.

    lost in translation...quite okish...but slow...

    dont know how many have seen...but a particular scene

    when that japanese girl comes to murray room and says

    "lip my stocking,lip my stockings,and falls on the floor shouting :rofl: :rofl: (she meant rip,but jap accent)...that was the best scene of the movie "

    Sure kaka ? Last I heard BoP is miles away from the real Burnouts. That's the reason I didn't pick it up for PS3. :|

    see i am not a critic..or woh sab jo keeps comparing how true it is to the series :P ...i had purchased revenge for xbox..and later paradise for my ps3..and the game was really fun..especially online ..dont know if people play online anymore or not...but the game overall was really good fun

    Yes sir. Ancient India was more modern in their thoughts than us, tabhi to Kamasutra likhi gayi. Itni positions try karne main bhi time lagta hai :P

    And lovely sculptures :O .. Where are the sand ones located ?

    wow.. U guys are so good.. I am now embarassed to post my pics clicked from my cell phone.

    nothing to be embarassed...first thing they have clicked with a good camera and yours are just cell phone...plus people improve with time...no one is born with a camera clicking pictures

    already seen that movie.....fantastic movie.....:majesty:....it really does a good job to bring such issues to light....this movie on other hand like u said a wasted attempt ...and nasseerudin stature actor's role was too short and not even shown in proper light...he is just there for the sake of being in that movie ...it seemed.

    yes ,such a talented actor given such a stupid role...

    Saw this movie Allah ke banday....its about childrens being sexually abused....having no elder to support....joining gangs .....drugs,killing...money....it is a very rare film....coz hardly these days movie is based on issues like these...specially when in India ...it is happens so much but still movie is a passable flick....nothing much can be expected from it....a good subject failed attempt i would put it.

    watch "salaam bombay" ..something on these lines,but much better then this movie..this was a dissapointment,especially the role that nasseer had...actually he never had any role,a actor wasted :doh:

    Dhobi Ghat - one word - DISAPPOINTING

     

    Looks like they wanted to mimic some Oscar bait (like Crash for example) but the movie fails at that. I'm definitely not one of the 'masses' and I still didn't like it :| It started out well enough but went downhill from there.

    was expecting it to be nice :(

    matter of fact, android phones are like girlfriends. You never know when why and which one will get cranky. Apple's phones are like wives. You live by their rules. :lol:

     

    symbian ones are like hookers, you see all the sexy hardware is there and pay to have a good time but you end up with a sour taste in your mouth. :P

    Anyone saw dhobi ghat ? General consensus is that its pretty boring, sorta like a documentary in history channel. Might go tmrw to check it out myself :)

    it shouldnt be like that...but general perception will be like that because the movie is not made for the masses anyways...masses ke liye hai na tees maar kha and all that sh*t
