  1. I own a zotac gtx 760 amp edition. But sometimes it gives pause for 1-2 secs and then goes to normal.Seen this problem with ryse, watch dogs, gta v.I installed gpuz then noticed gpu load drops to low suddenly at that moment this problem occurs.

My psu is seasonic s12 520w.

Is this related to gpu or drivers or any other problem

    Please guide.

  2. Don't.

I doubt the extended warranty part. Do you have the email confirmation of the extended warranty registration? You need a registration as well as confirmation.

Why should i not buy it bro?

He has extended warranty email. He purchased it on 19 may 2014 and got extended warranty email on 25 may 2014 with serial no,ticket number and other details mentioned on it.He forwarded the email to me.Warranty remaining is 3 years 3 months.

And some guy is quoting 9k-10k for his out of warranty 660ti.Dnt know wth he is upto.

Edit: I just confirmed zotac regarding warranty. It is eligible for 3 years extended warranty.

Now at what price should i buy it.

  3. Guys received dell 2216 today.

If anybody using it can you please confirm if it comes with any protective film pre installed fron dell or not.Because it looks like a thin film on screen but can confirm 100%.

So if anybody using it please confirm.Thanks.

  4.

I am using a Luminous 900va UPS cum Inverter that powers a few tubes and fans of my house ALONG WITH my PC (see specs in the sig). If I run just a fan and my PC, I can even game with my GTX 970 ON MAX LOAD :)

Any more load like a tube and two fans, etc., and the PC works just fine, but I can't game. If I try to game with tubes and two fans on inverter, my system shuts down.

Even after it shuts down, I can turn my PC back on and do regular stuff like working on MS Word and browsing using Firefox, watching a movie, etc., but NOTHING GPU INTENSIVE :)

Edit: Oh and by the way, my Luminous 900va inverter is connected to this...

    sf-power-box1.jpg

It's a SF Sonic 180 Amp battery :) I can easily game on this for 4 to 5 hours nonstop without power, but I try to avoid that :)

    Thats hell of a power you are using bro.:-)i don't need this much.i have i5 6400,gigabyte b150m d3h,wd 1tb,8gb ram,dell s2216h,seasonic s12ii 520w.I will buy gpu later probably pascal.

    So i need 800va ups or 1000va?

  5. Almost all units these days are Active PFC.

Using an APC UPS unit and unless I am taxing the hell out of the PC, no issues with the UPS during power cuts.

    Thanks a lot.How about luminous, microtek,intex ups?Basically looking for a locally serviceable ups.Btw you use 800va or 1000va?
  6. ^ Seasonic S12II 520W. Nothing below this. Should set you back by ~4500/- or so.

Hey bro.i have purchased s12ii 520w.Its a Active PFC psu.I read on digit that an active pfc psu gives problem with ups.I am going to purchase cyberpower bu1000in ups.

    Can you please confirm this?

if anybody is using this ups or otherone with seasonic s12ii 520w then please tell.Thanks.

  7. ^ N200, I am using that, it has plenty of fan mounts. I think it is the cheapest cabinet in the market that can mount a 240mm radiator and maintain a good airflow characteristic.

Nothing wrong with the N400, it is just that it could have inherited a lot more from the N600 but it did not. It lacks dedicated SSD mounts, hard-drives mounts cover the airflow with no way or removing bays. Lots of things there that could have been so much better.

In-fact almost all these chassis will be EoL by Q4 this year. We have something new coming. Stay tuned.

should i wait for q4?What coming in q4?
  8. ^ The N300 and N400 are not great chassis, they do the job but are not great or remarkable unless you have no choice. The N200 is a great chassis, I use it on my RIG but it is restricted to the µ-ATX form factor. So, take a choice,.

You will get two chassis fans with all the options I have recommended, you can add more if you please. I would recommend these ones.

MicroTek is okay when it comes to UPS. Although APC remains my first choice.

Thanks.I am purchasing everything except gpu.I will buy it after 5-6 months.Due you think gtx970 price will come down after 5-6 months.

I am confused with ram. Please tell me some from flipkart etc.

  9. @ALPHA17 these are the parts suggested by you.

Corsair Carbide 400R or Cooler Master HAF 912

    APC 800VA UPS

    What about cooler master N200/N300/N400?

    And Microtech 800VA ups.

Do i need to purchase cooling fans separately or they come with cabinets?

If not then how many fans do i need and which ones?

  10. thanks a lot.after checking price online and locally i yhink there is a huge difference between price.I live in delhi. So what is your suggestion. Should i buy online or locally?

  11. Planning to build a pc with gtx970.
