One X is a great phone and all, but the One XL is the one to watch out for.
The Tegra 3 chip might be excellent in performance, but I don't think it can compete with the S4 Snapdragon when it comes to performance + battery life.

Okay, dropped it (mainly due to lack of S-off and the resulting lack of developer support). The S2 seems a better choice but hard to find the I9100 now. Is the I9100G that bad?
Wait for the HTC One X/One S? They're releasing in a couple of weeks.

From what I see Naaptol has it listed for 28k in which case excellent price. In any case, I'm comparing the Amaze with my current phone (Nexus One) so I doubt I'll be disappointed there.
The SGS2 is better than the Amaze4G..

Someone commented on the previous page that Liverpool might not make it to the Europa League, thus my comment. I think that Dalglish should get another season to work his tactics, but if Liverpool continue to be this poor, then he needs to go.
I really don't think City will go 6 points below. Also, it is very much possible that United might drop points as well.

It is much superior. With the S4 Qualcomm has moved to a 28nm die and a new architecture altogether. The CPU performance is off the charts, even the quad core Tegra 3 fails to beat it.

I barely ever use the phone camera. So not an issue at all. I am worried about SD card slot. Does it support OTG?
I am more interested in Sound quality. How is that? How is loudspeaker sound?
It does support OTG, but not out of the box, not yet anyways. Google said they will be enabling it soon. For now, you will have to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom kernel which enables OTG support.
Sound quality is excellent, definitely above average. Loudspeaker is pretty loud, as long as it's not blocked or muffled.

I kinda agree with you, but firstly the price is quite nice. And specs wise both (Amaze and One S) are literally identical except that One S has Amoled.

Literally identical? One S will have the much superior S4 Snapdragon, which is better in every aspect including power consumption. Also, comes with ICS and Sense 4.0. They are far from identical.

I will be getting a new Android in May. I hope that something substantial is announced by that time. Else I would have to pick up Galaxy Note.
Samsung India said on twitter that Galaxy Nexus will be launched this month end.
Can anyone tell me what are the disadvantages of Galaxy Nexus? Forget about benchmarks and sh*t, I dont give a damn about these numbers. I want real world disadvantages.
13.3GB internal space for whatever you want to store. No SDCard slot.
Poor camera. Especially poor when compared to the newer ICS devices.

Hmm, a friend is offering to get the HTC Amaze 4G (unlocked) for 25k. Worth it?
My primary concern is that presently the development for it is not progressing much (due to lack of s-off). Anyone can post experience of any HTC phones which got S-OFF after a considerable time and then development at XDA picked up?
With the HTC One series releasing soon, along with the SGS3, this is the worst possible time to buy a new Android phone. Unless it's the Galaxy Nexus.

No, there is a GSM version out as well. It should be under Rs. 30k. You do sacrifice future updates, and it doesn't have the latest software, but it's the phone to get if your highest priority is battery life.

@Death Stryke : Go to Google+, and set the privacy options in Google Chat there. You can restrict which circles can chat with you and which cannot. Uncheck all the circles, and voila, your GTalk list is back to how it was.

I didnt add anything....it adds everyone under the default list .... circle was the wrong word to use i guess....I've half the guys from IVG as well lol
Now I'm lost. You got people automatically added to your "list"? What list is this?

No, its still there....just found out. Go to contacts -> settings -> only display contacts with phone (1st option). Tick it and live in peace ! Google really sucks sometimes....even my google+ list is a clusterf**k of contacts, half of whom I don't even recognize, but they are in my circles....don't have the patience to weed them out. One of the reasons I hardly use google+
Uhmm, you added them in the first place. Google doesn't automatically fill your circles in..
