Don't go for XPS. That is consumer maal, tell your company to instead go for Dell Latitude, those are their Business models with 3 year warranty, the current "good" models are the Latitude 7400 ones. Other option you have are the Lenovo Thinkpad T and X series, and the HP EliteBook series, all are again Business models with 3 year warranty. For OS you either install Linux Mint on it or use WSL on Windows 10. As standard, get 1080p 15" screen, the biggest battery you can find, atleast one thunderbolt 3 port, and Intel wifi and bluetooth( for best linux compatibility ) 16GB RAM and a Quadcore CPU Macbooks are also an option, but they will be pricy

Sony like every other one else manufacturers the consoles through Foxconn or some other CM, they may have been planning the assembly/testing/packaging etc for a year or more, you don't move all that so easily and quickly and set up in Japan where everything isn't as well oiled as it is in China, neither is it as cheap. Manufacturing-for-Export will stay in China, and products will probably be routed through Vietnam etc to avoid CHEENI BAD REEEEE Tariff and non-tariff barriers imposed by countries if any. Japan is not for mass production of consumer goods for export lol Neither is US or most of the wealthy EU countries

supposedly it was an exclusivity agreement during the PS1 era with the original publisher i think. then at the start of PS2 era it broke off and became multiplat. then it got sold to Activision. Then activision sat on it for a while

It has been outdone now in graphics, gameplay, combat, open-world by other games. main story campaign, DLC Campaigns and characters still hold up today but, it was good for it's time in every way back in 2015, invented practically most of the open world tropes lol

Also since muh specs of PS5 are all custom ordered from AMD, like it has a APU containing the RDNA2 Graphics chip and Zen 2 CPU chip, they can get it for much cheaper per unit price than us plebs see in the market. Remember the contract to supply this CPU-GPU combo will last for 5-6 years minimum, so Sony has a lot of leeway in negotiating a better deal, meanwhile i'm not sure how much they are saving/losing on the custom SSD. Also PC and Phone are multi purpose devices, not comparable to something that just plays games and maybe plays media if the manufacturers deign to provide us mortals with a software update.

I play on monitor( base PS4 from 2015 right next to it ) and the fan revs up with God of War for whatever reason, it can be heard but not so much as to distract or be an annoyance, it doesn't happen with Spodeyman, UC4/UC:LL, HZD, so i guess it's specific to the game. Never understood all the dudes who talk about JeT EnGiNe NOiSe fRoM CoNsOLe/PC xDDDDD, like do they have bat-like hearing or something Like in the gaming PC world there are actually PC cases like this that reduce fan noise and all
