So you either say Kickstarter games in general is scam or you accept it. There is NO REASON to make Shenmue an exception , the only reason there is so much sh*t posting going on for this game specifically is because of Sony's involvement.

 

Deep Silver have giant pockets too , yet nobody bats an eye for Bloodstained or Mighty no 9. And Personally they shouldnt , Kickstarter should serve to kickstart the project. If that money helps them gain additional funding then more power to them.

I think Sony will fund SM3 for PS4,Devept,marketing everything,only thing Sony is unsure how much to give,Hence,they tell Yu to do the Kickstarter to guage gamer's interest on the possible sequel,I guess depending on how much money the KS makes,Sony will give some more funding for the Devpt of SM3(PS4 version),The money from KS however will stay with Yu's studio which will possibly used for the PC port,Feelies,SM&SM2 Remaster ? idk what else

Oh and $10M isn't close to the cost of this game's Devpt. i feel its like $50 mn or so,considering SM2 was 42M This is an Open world action game with seemingly RPG elements and Japanese folks create Game Engine's and all tools in-house which costs lots moneys also ofc SEGA wants $$$$$ for giving ShenMue IP.Itna sab $10m me nahi hoega

he is right, all console games are gimped version of pc games, it's jst that consolites don't mind bathing in mediocrity of 20-30 fps gaming n all settings on low

A bad port is one locked to 30 fps When the target platform can do 60 fps,but wait the port job is so bad game stutters above 30 given low res textures compared to consul versions , Important effects missing or hidden behind GameWorks bs

and the goddamn stuttering and FPS drops AND 7GB from 5 DVD's . PC gamers are treated like 3rd grade citizens by most Pubs/Devs for some reason.

All settings on Low? this is not PS360 Gen m8.Games on consuls run on high medium with stable 30 FPS,Like this game on PS4

Yes, from time to time, not much. When entering Batmobile it stutters badly. Once in, wait for few seconds and then roll. Doesn't stutter.

Funny thing is, it runs absolutely smooth during combat; even when surrounded by 20 tanks, there is 0 stuttering. But stutter when roads are empty.

 

I have made the following changes:

AllowRadialBlur=False
MotionBlurSkinning=0
MobilePostProcessBlurAmount=0.0
