Game is total KLPD, and is not enjoyable even otherwise, considering my poor person PC.
I'm sure main story must be good though, but otherwise going through the city is horrible, like 20-25 FPS when driving or going through remotely crowded city areas, and immensely high frame latency.
Meanwhile if you go to the north of the "watson" area, there are no NPCs or Cars to be found, and game hits full 60 fps.
It is time for my i5 4690k, the mobo and the two ram sticks to be retired.

RMA is the main point, the second is fans like rushab said, if the cooling setup is not good maybe your GPU will throttle which will hit performance, altough the big 3 asus, gigabyte, msi aren't immune.
I remember a year ago some ASUS Strix GPU with 3 fans had horrible temperature issues, and apparently it was a defect where the Heatsing wouldn't make a physical connection to the chip all the way, leading to very high tempts.
They fixed this in a later revision though.
So just check reviews of the models of big 3 gpus if you're buying.

other gameplay elements yes it gets tedious at times.
Also in RDR2 you hit a "ceiling" in terms of progression, you can get all the types of gunz very soon.

No this has very borderlands vibes, the damage numbers, bullet sponge enemies, multi colored( very bright colored ) special guns, certain buildings also.
I think the Adam Jensen Dude,Secks games were also technically RPGs, but the enemies weren't bullet sponge like this.
Then again both of those DX games force you to be a vent crawling non-lethal weapon using Gandhi.
This meanwhile is a very killing friendly game.
One guy in this thread saying stealth is very hard in this game and all, but I found it refreshing that there is no forced vent crawling or non-lethal is best bs involved.

Pro-Tip : On PC if you see "grainy" effects on hard surfaces like metal or concrete structures and all, inspite of having disabled film grain, set "Screen Space Reflections" to off, this solves the weird grainy effect on hard surfaces.
I guess the game engine handles reflections strangely, which is why this occurs.

nvidia 1660 super, i5 4690k processor.
It's like a decade now and you still can't get proper performance @ 1080p for these fancy games.
RDR2 also I had to run at medium high mix settings only.
I wonder how many decades it will take for native 4K gaming to be affordable with all this fancy stuff like raytracing and all being dropped every 2-3 years.

This game makes me feel bad for not being able to afford latest 3xxx series 40-50k costing Nvidia GPU.

They were over ambitious and had to cut all the stuff that just wouldn't werk or would take even more time.
End result is this game now.
They shouldn't have put the teaser in 2013 and got everyone's hype boner up for so long, eventually like NMS people started projecting all their "best cyberpunk game ever" fantasies on to it, and now dissapointed with end result.

Ok a tempt fix for the vaseline effect issue is to do Alt + Z if you have nvidia overlay enabled, from there you add a sharpening filter, set the "sharpening filter" and "ignore film grain" on the high side.
Fixes vaseline bullshit, everything is sharp now.
Idk what do to if you have AMD card, sorry.

btw game has a horrible blurring "vaseline" effect issue thanks to TAA, which can't be disabled through settings.
You have to change a specific value in the .exe itself using a Hex editor in order to remove TAA
Game looks a bomb but this shitty vaseline effect is putting a spanner in the works.

Obtained the
version just to check if it runs well on my dabba.
It performs "expectedly" in the sense that full 60 indoors, 35-45 in the city with all NPCs, 35-45 in combat with high frametime latency
