Animated TV Show based on Monster Hunter World coming on Netflix on August 12th. Seems Aiden from MH:World will be the main character.

Yup, both are optional. But some endings are locked behind them. Get on Steam. It's an awesome port, and does not have much requirements. This game is absolutely worth a purchase. Game is in some ways far better than Souls even.

Nah, Guardian Ape was decent, but far from the hardest. You even do a 2 part fight with both Guardian Ape and another brown ape at the same time, and can get it done decently easy. I would give the hardest to

Yes, you can now. And none of it would have been possible, had the traditional console generations been followed. Had Sony and MS stuck to the old mentality, they would have blocked controllers from being compatible with PC, and chances are - even 3rd parties would not have been allowed to follow same controller type (Like most PC controllers today are based on the X360 controllers). You would have been stuck with shitty "custom" controllers, since designs would be patented. The "Same Architecture Parity" did a lot of stuff - not just on a technical level, but also in developer mentality of opening up to PC access. Yes PC is the lead platform for development, since all machines these days are nothing but glorified, branded PCs. But this still does not negate the other points. Developers still make horrible ports for PCs. For example, you're playing MH: World now. MH: World was an absolutely horrible port for years together. Then Capcom repeated the same with Iceborne. Many of the other games suffer from this malaise as well. Still there are hackers in MP games and all other stuff. PC HW prices are also rising up to a horrible extent, ever since the mining craze started (Made unbearable by Covid). On the console front though - there are other problems. Pricing of games is obvious. Paid MP is another one. KB+M support is horrible, and that excludes many genres from consoles. Hence why I said both have their own market. they are not competitors.

Not at all. PC is in a different market than consoles. Some games are far better on consoles and some are on PCs. Some genres are tailor made for consoles (Fighting Games, Hack'n'Slash, Souls Types etc.) while some others are custom made for PCs (Almost all shooters, Strategy Games, MMORPGs, Diablo Type Games, most indies etc.). Besides PCs have their own share of problems, including bad ports, horrible DRMs, games coming late, hackers in MP etc. Also a small problem of most games being made for consoles only - and PC development being an after-thought. If we were still like in olden times, with all 3 systems having different architectures - a ton of games will skip PCs entirely. To say PC is king blindly is plain ignorance. More correct would be PC is playing to it's own tune - much like Nintendo is. The only "competitors" are PS and Xbox.

Lol no. VN is almost same a book (just with voices). It's pretty fun, considering you can mess around a lot. A lot of the endings are hilarious. It also has tons of puzzles and all such stuff sometimes so it's fun. Plus Visual Novels and Light Novels are the anime of the future. What anime you see now, that had a manga 2 years ago, and a Light Novel/Visual Novel 5-10 years ago. It's also pretty short if needed (Remember multiple animes are put in a visual novel). Also there are tons of LNs/VNs that have an absolute bonkers story that have not been adopted into manga/anime yet + those that are ruined by the anime. Also, Stay Night is an awesome story. It's sad that they ruined the anime. Disagree on watching Zero first. UBW should be first, and Zero later - as it was meant to be. The entire Fate/Zero is essentially a giant easter egg to UBW. It also ruins parts of Fate that are fun. Agree that Heaven's Feel should be last. Ideally the order should be Stay Night (Skip it for bad anime)>UBW>Heaven's Feel>Zero>Case Files of Lord El Malloi II> All other spin-offs
-
Then that is the best way to upgrade.
-
Yup, this is ideally the best path - provided 2nd hand copy is cheap. If 2nd hand copy itself is 2.5k (or above) - then it makes no sense, because it will either be the same price as a new copy or more expensive.
-
If you have not played the game at all - Get the PS5 Director's Cut version. The game is mind blowingly beautiful and deserves to be played in it's full glory. It's a scam if you have the PS4 version and have to pay to upgrade. It's absolutely worth it for a brand new player of the game. Doing things like what @Assassins Creed said - will ultimately cost more in the long run. Publishers routinely discount games. I've not heard of publishers ever discounting an Upgrade patch to a game. Just like you are far more likely to find a GOTY Edition of a game on sale than finding the individual DLCs on sale.

I don't think I've received a fake movie from amazon.in yet. Sellers like Excel Innovators should be good, since they are Amazon fulfilled. I'm not sure, but you can open the parcel in front of the delivery guy and return the disc if it turns out to be fake. I've not done it yet. Foreign Amazons are more expensive now, because if you take the quick delivery options - you are going to get charged the maximum possible customs. Due to Covid, they are making sure to specifically charge the maximum. I even got the notice regarding that. If you take the slow posts (Country's Mail + India Post when it arrives here), then if you are lucky - you might skip customs. But the trade-off is you might have to wait months + things like the cover box can get damaged in transit.

It's fine. A guide to the Fate Series - The Fate series is essentially a Visual Novel video game, that has 3 routes, and there is an anime for all 3 routes - 1) Fate/Stay Night - This route focuses on Saber. The VN game for this route is good, but the anime is horrible (Old anime released in 2006 I think). 2) Fate/Unlimited Blade Works - This is the 2nd route focusing on Rin. IMO this is the best route. The anime is what you are watching now 3) Fate/Heaven's Feel - This route focuses on Sakura. I'm personally not a fan of this route. There are anime movies that cover it In the game, what route you get depends on what in-game choices you make. In the animation world - there are animes covering each route separately Fate/Zero is the prequel that came out later (Also on Netflix), but it does not have your preference. There are other Fate animes which are essentially spin-offs, taking the concept of Masters and Servants, but set in an alternate time and not relevant to the main series. These include anime such as Fate/Apocrypha; Fate/Strange Fake; Fate/Carnival Phantasm etc. Basically, Fate is an immensely popular series, that has spawned entire media including anime, manga, video games, mobile games, movies and all such. Everyone tries their own spin on the concept and tries to tell their own tale. But the 3 points I mentioned above - those 3 are the main Fate series, nothing else. @North If you liked Fate/Zero, you should watch The Case Files of Lord El-Malloi II. I'm posting the Japanese and English Trailers English Trailer: Japanese Trailer: This is the sequel to Fate/Zero, that focuses on Waver - The Master of Rider in Fate/Zero It's an awesome magic/action/detective show set 10 years after Fate/Zero Holy Grail War, and for once does not focus on Shiro, Kiritsugu or Saber. it's really good.

amazon.in 4k Blu Rays from amazon.in will run on all Indian 4k Blu ray players (Including PS5/XSX). Price is also decent enough. Keep the foreign amazons (UK/US) as a very last option - only for movies that are not available here. 4k Blu Rays usually don't have region codes as of now, so you should be safe on that front (Normal 1080p Blu Rays from abroad will not play on Indian players - including PS5/XSX). But you will be charged customs when it reaches India. Keep that option for if the movie you want is not available here, but you are a big fan of it and want it in your collection at any cost.
-
4k Blu Rays from Amazon for now. Amazon (UK) for movies that are not available here. For all those suggesting piracy here, 4k Blu Rays are in many cases far better than these "Unofficial" 4k sources. For collector's and supporters - official 4k Blu Rays are great. Not to mention, many times you also get tons of extras (Both physical collectibles and extra scenes in the movies itself).

PlayStation vs Xbox vs Nintendo thread

I agree with your post, but not with the last sentence. IMO, porting those games on PC is a brilliant move. All the PC ports of Sony games are essentially worthless to them. Horizon, Days Gone and all such stuff - they are literally being given away for free on PS, that too officially by Sony. No need to even hunt for 2nd hand copies But by porting it on PC - Sony is able to get s***rs to pay full price for antique games that are free to console players. Plus, they are giving a taste of what PS can offer to PC only players. They intentionally do not bring their entire library of old games to PC and keep it hanging whether a game will come to PC or not. This gets even more PC only guys to buy a PS. Give just a taste 2-3 times and get the people hooked. Overall, I would say it's a great move on Sony's part. -
PlayStation vs Xbox vs Nintendo thread

For people comparing Vita and 3DS - it was stupidity and bad luck on Sony's part frankly. PSP sold a ton, but it was also one of the most modded and pirated consoles out there. To combat this piracy, and ensure original game sales - Sony released Vita with proprietary memory cards. They also stupidly made it expensive thinking "It's branded so we will earn more money out of it". This removed all the units that would have been sold to pirates, but at the same time also drove up the prices of Vita's storage and genuine sales also reduced there. The stupidity on Sony's part came because of them giving up on the Vita. Vita was truly an awesome console. It had an OLED screen, and was able to do almost 720p resolution (960x544) while 3DS was stuck with 360p SD resolution. Sony killed it in 2 ways - 1) They removed the OLED screen from the PS Vita version 2 onwards (citing some reason of battery life or something), which immediately made games look worse. 2) After the initial lot of Western Games, Sony essentially stopped all Western Games altogether on the Vita The Vita still survived and thrived - carried only by the Japanese Devs and the fans who brought it and loved it (like me). It shows how strong and loved the Hardware was - that fans and 3rd party devs still loved it despite the console maker itself giving up on it. But it could never compete with 3DS at this point. The 3DS was a huge flop initially, to the point people thought it will die early. But Nintendo turned it around - 1) They released the 3DS XL which made the screen more palatable (OG was small). 2) They made exclusivity deals with 3rd party devs for franchises that were major hits on the PSP. Games like Monster Hunter were originally the USPs and major hits of PSP. Nintendo brought them out - hence they became 3ds exclusives (and now Switch and PC exclusives despite MH World being a major hit on PS and Xbox Consoles) 3) They did not give up on the console unlike Sony. Despite their initial titles being a flop, they kept at it and soon were able to release their mega hit 1st party titles on the system 4) They allowed custom storage. They did not care about piracy and put customer comfort first. This was a huge PR point for them. Overall, I love both handhelds. But it is a fact that Sony set up Vita to fail, while Nintendo did not. It's sad. Vita was not hard to develop for or anything. It was, and still is, an awesome piece of Hardware. Sony just gave up on it. -
It gets clearer. It's intentionally designed to be confusing in the beginning. But all characters stories are relevant to each other (and all happen before the combat segment). Once you start progressing ahead - you will see how each of the stories are connected and it will all make sense.

From the Twitter thread, it's because of the mods. They don't want things like the model being dressed in a clown suit/being completely naked etc. Which is understandable - because the talent agency's entire business is only the model and nothing else. Hollywood models don't seem to mind being modded like this, but Japanese Models do it seems. This is why I said Models and Actos are more trouble than they are worth. None of the iconic video game characters were models/actors, including in the Yakuza series. Remove them and make original characters. Let the models stick to their film/music/product advertisement business.

Frankly, SEGA should stop using all these "Cinema Actors" as the leads in their games. It almost always leads to trouble. This is not the first time this has happened. Almost all the "Real" characters they have used since Yakuza 4 (almost 10 years ago on PS3) - have either been banned (during release or worse after release), quit or have restrictions due to ego - and SEGA had to recast or design new characters. Their most popular characters (Kiryu, Majima, Ichiban etc.) anyways are not based on real people. Japanese Talent Agencies have a lot of restrictions and tons of legal loopholes that interferes with business, unlike USA. Get rid of the models. Make original characters and run with it. Nobody cares. Stick these "Models" to cameos/side quest appearances if they are that important.

Didn't play Kasane yet, so what's the difference? Yuito gameplay is an absolute blast, that much I know. Weaving sword attacks and psycho attacks simultaneously, the guy even auto dodges and puts distance when required automatically. I was even able to beat Kasane in the Yuito vs Kasane solo boss fight lol (which I think you were not supposed to be able to do). Is Kasane's attacks slower or her attacks don't mesh with each other or something?
-
If it helps - the "relationship" takes place after they are both adults. Till then, it's all adventure. But the anime does ask some questions. The guy is re-incarnated. Does that mean the girl is re-incarnated also (Just with no memories?) If so, is the relationship wrong? The joys of philosophy lol

Fate/Unlimited Blade Works. It has absolutely amazing animation, action and story as well. Fate/UBW is literally considered the father of the archetype you mentioned. Anime is brand new, but the original story is old (Told via Visual Novel), so it claims that title. It's on Netflix. Another one is Zero No Tsukaima (Familiar of Zero). It's old. I watched a little bit, when I used to watch all random anime. I hated it. But it's the archetype you mentioned. It's on *ahem* site. Mushoku Tensei is about the entire life of the guy, from birth till death. Frankly, the harem part is minor. But it's the adventure that's the most fun. That makes the anime great.

Welcome to a lot of Japanese devs. At least they are improving. In PS3/360 gen, they literally used to give JRPGs as timed exclusive or full exclusive to MS. Games like Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Star Ocean and many more were all exclusive. Then they cried when sales did not happen at all, even on PS and Nintendo because the game was old. Many of those devs have either ditched the idea and fired the heads who were responsible for those decisions/became low key mobile devs/have gone out of business altogether. Anyway,I'm playing this on PC. The story is really good. It has great hooks on the plot. But I'm really not a fan of the side quests and "Standby Phases" (which includes bond episodes and gifts). They are boring and interaction is pretty much generic. They also serve to take out of the story - especially when it's getting interesting. They tried to copy Persona, but it failed spectacularly. The characters are not nearly deep enough or likable enough for that (Most are standard anime tropes). I also don't like how they have tied gifts to the anime. I don't want to watch the anime and get spoiled on the main game's story before playing it. There literally is no point in connecting the two. Gameplay is absolute ace though. A joy to play, and bosses and even trash mobs are fun.

@petey I would suggest skip all Tales games now and play Arise directly. All Tales are stand-alone, so you should be able to start directly from Arise. Also avoid Zestiria. They went with an MMO Map/formula, and it's boring. In fact, both Zestiria and Berseria are OK at best and boring at worst. Avoid for now. Vesperia is good, but it's a PS3/360 remaster, so you might not enjoy it. My advice would be to just start Tales of Arise. It looks great.

Yes he is. But do we know what his Visa Conditions/PIO Conditions are? If he has a legal permit, he can do all the business he wants - despite being a Canadian citizen. The issue was Karl Rock did not have a Work Permit. He was staying in a Tourist Visa/Holiday permit. And Tourist Visa/Holiday Permit does not allow work or income in any country that I know of.
-
Maybe? Maybe not? We heard about this guy because he's famous, and has ties in politics. Fact is - tons of people are deported from each and every country every day. It doesn't make the news - because it's not news-worthy. You really should watch the Border Police Documentaries (They have one for almost all Western Countries I think). Deportations are a dime a dozen. It will most probably be the case here as well. We just don't hear about it, because most people are not famous and don't have a dedicated following.
