Witcher 1 was not that well received though. It was considered a good game, but it did not exactly become the talk of the industry. Witcher 2 was a little better and was mainly well received after CDPR made the enhanced version and gave it away for free to all Witcher 2 owners. The story was great, but CDPR's act of giving away the tons of extras was more talked about than the game itself. CDPR became a household name only after WItcher 3. Before that - they were a niche developer who did not have much pressure or fan expectation on their shoulder. CDPR did not promise anything with Witcher 1 or Witcher 2. Just released the game - that's it. They promised a ton of stuff with Cyberpunk after Witcher 3, fan expectation were high, and then on a console that ran RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima - they delivered a game that looked like an upgraded GTA San Andreas. That's where the problems come from. On PC you're all good, if you have a good HW. If you're running a low to mid end PC - you're right up there with Console owners. And even on PC - the city is nothing special. The writing is good, that's it. Otherwise it's an empty shell of a city and a grave of broken promises.

AFAIK, the laws are already in place to have censorship over digital streaming platforms. The Govt. is just not implementing it yet. It's just that gore, nudity and s*x proved far too popular, as was shown by the status of the p**n ban and how it had to be repealed + the popularity of shows like Sacred Games. But games that target religion or even shows - you can bet the govt. will flip the implementation button faster than you can think. That's core vote-bank territory and not something to let go of. Heck the govt., banned PUBG mobile here, which has a sizable population playing it. You think they will even look twice at banning stuff like games which require 50k consoles/50k GPU PCs/"Experimental" Cloud Services/"Experimental" VR Devices to play? They can shut down the industry in India and not many people will even care. That's the state we're in.

If you are telling angles - tell the correct angles man. I've heard of acute angle, obtuse angle, right angle and the likes. If you're talking about shapes - the Series X is a cuboid, which is 6 rectangles. I've never heard of exclusive angles or 2022 angles till now. Brand new discoveries? In all seriousness though, having actually used a One X (not a Series X I know, but still) - Xbox is actually a good console and it's controllers are pretty great. I'm sure Series X is an upgrade over a One X so it will be better. And Gamepass is good value, so people will actually take that into consideration while buying. People know about the status of exclusives, so no need to keep on telling people "How Bad Their Purchase Is" man. Let people buy whatever they are interested in and let everyone enjoy their purchase.

2 headed cow and brahmin - no one cares. Straight up Ramayana and Mahabharat - Oh Man! You're looking at a blood-bath. If people bothered more about "Important Stuff" India would be on the list of highly developed countries by now. There are organizations who thrive on generating controversy and Religion is "No.1". Want to see mass protests, mass bans, video games becoming political and subject to future censorship and bans - easiest way to get it done right now is play with some existing religions in India. The backlash will probably make the US Capitol protests look like a reasonable debate.

This one is actually better than the previous 2. Nothing legendary, but it does put in some new concepts and manages to be fun somewhat. Do you guys remember the Anime Ramayana, that aired in the 90s. There was absolutely nothing controversial about that, and yet there were protests by various groups, simply because "Animation/Anime is for kids and Ramayana cannot be depicted like that." This was in the 80s/90s, when it was very controversial to have animated religious shows. Now there are animations of course. Now imagine Video Games to be the next on the list. The sh*tstorm it will generate will be legendary. The Ramayana Anime creators actually studied the material and tried to be as controversy free as possible. So gradually, it got accepted. Ubisoft will do no such thing. Their "depictions" are not always respectful. Better they stay as far away from Ramayana/Mahabharata as possible.

True, forgot about those. Sry about that. All of them are on Switch though. I was talking about true exclusives. AFAIK Sony's Sackboy is still the only other exclusive. For a one stop solution to all 2d platformers, Nintendo is still king.
-
I chose the option to
-
Nintendo is and will always be king in this segment. You should not go beyond the Nintendo Switch. Sony might try some basic 2d platformers, like Sackboy or something, if they have nothing else to do and have some bored interns who want to develop something as a pet project, but it will be nothing extraordinary. MS will not even bother. BTW did you play Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on Switch yet? It's right up your alley.

It actually depends. NNK2 starts with massive betrayals, running away and all such stuff. In other words "Rule of Cool" straight away. NNK1 though - it takes time to build the character, so you get attached to them even more. In the first hour, you literally do nothing except see Oliver's daily life. This is because it's necessary for his characterization and also for the World. Also, in a 30-40 hour game, 1 hour is not even enough for a trial lol. It's like any Studio Ghibli movie like My Neighbor Totoro or Princess Mononoke. A slow start that builds up into a crescendo. That start is necessary and makes things far more epic and emotional as you will find out if you actually play the game. Didn't say NNK2 was bad at all. Like I said, one is a great game (NNK2) but the other is a legend (NNK1). NNK2 alone would have been great, but coming from NNK1, comparisons always came to my mind between the two, which was why I rated it lower than I would.
-
And now we find the problem right here. In other words - you didn't play it. For your info, NNK 2's music was a very stripped down version of NNK1's music. There is literally no way for it to be better. Graphics, you mean this - and this vs this Maybe if you like 2003's Bad CGI or this vs Do note the NNK1 images are most probably the PS3 ones - not even PS4. On a technical level, if you look at pixels and all, NNK2 is better. On an artistic level, when you actually see the game in motion - NNK1 is miles above. Combat and story - you've all but admitted you've never even given it a chance. It's hilarious, because they tried to bring so much of NNK1 back into 2. Lofty is literally a poor man's copy of Drippy. The music, again as I said was a downplayed version of NNK1. I really wanted to like NNK2. In fact, I liked it. But after playing NNK1, it felt like such a massive downgrade, it's not even funny.
-
The fact that you are typing this alone proves that you've not played the 1st one. NNK1 was a classic. Graphics, animation, story, music - all of these are so superior in NNK1 that NNK2 wishes it could match. Studio Ghibli is Studio Ghibli. Nothing matches up to them yet. Gameplay is up to opinion because both have completely different gameplay. I was fine with both tbh. If you want to compare - NNK1 was like the original Lion King. A Legend. NNK2 is like Frozen, a great movie, but not a legend.

A grown up version, but only a little bit. TBH Kageyama's and Kurahara's (The guy on the right) design is very common. Generic "Cool" Japanese guy. The more interesting clone was this - This guy looks like a Thin, starving, younger version of this Seriously, Fujioka can literally change his name at the registry and do body building - he will literally become a clone of Kazuma Kiryu in some years lol The second was this: Sakaki (From this anime) vs this a**h**le from FATE Series
-
Well, what will be - will be. If it's exclusive, great. If it's not exclusive, also great. Just hope they make a good game and not mess it up. Though considering it's Machine Games and not OG Bethesda Softworks (Fallout 76 team), I have high hopes that it will be absolutely excellent.

After finishing Haikyuu, wanted to watch something Sports/Alice of Life. Watched this on Netflix Kaze Ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru or Run With the Wind (English Name on Netflix) Man this anime is so damn amazing. First things first, the story and slice of life aspects are set in college instead of the usual High School. This instantly makes it better than 99.9% of the animes out there. So fun to see people actually rooming in a dorm, partying, smoking and then trying to give up cigs, job hunting, romance plus doing extra curricular activities all with the freedom of college. The actual story is also really good. Unlike most shows, there is no super- human techniques. No guaranteed wins either. It's a pure running, marathon sport show, which starts right from the beginning of making unfit people get into jogging and then slowly improving them, all set with absolutely amazing voice-work and fantastic music. The animation in the show is also absolutely impressive. Some examples: The screenshots though don't do it justice. It looks far better in motion. The anime is also "Complete". It's not based on a manga or light novel, but rather on a proper, full novel released in 2006. The story ends when the last episode ends. Run with the Wind is reviewed highly getting 8.46 on MyAnimeList. Highly recommend you guys to watch it.

Thing is - overall Indiana Jones is a far bigger franchise than Uncharted ever will be. Only video game fans know Uncharted. Everyone, including video game fans, know Indiana Jones. I don't have much hopes for the Uncharted movie branch-out. In the grand scheme of things, all media combined - Uncharted will always be a copy or "Inspired By" Indiana Jones. Tomb Raider competes directly with Uncharted. Both are only video games. Indiana Jones does not. It's more than just video games. Disney is not in video game business. They don't care sh*t which console does good or bad. They don't need to promote Indiana Jones. They are making universes, with all media combined and revenue from each and every one. This video game is just merchandise for them, nothing more - just like EA's Star Wars. Overall, it's too early to call on exclusivity, simply because of this - Disney is making a universe, squeezing out every cent from it and does not care what a platform seller thinks.
-
I guess I should have clarified. MS is not so rich that they can buy out Disney like they brought out Bethesda.
-
MS is rich. But it's not Disney Level rich. Disney is making a universe with all the old IPs. There's a Star Wars Universe, Marvel Universe, Pixar Universe, old Disney movies Universe and now an Indiana Jones Universe as well. This includes future films (to be released 2022), further TV Shows, Toys and other merchandise as well. The video game is just a small part of that universe. You think any exclusivity will be allowed when they are making a new shared universe like Star Wars? I repeat, Sony only got away with it because they had a leverage due to Spiderman movies, which Disney desperately wanted + Xbox One was minuscule last gen, to the point of irrelevance. If PS5 has even a decent (not even massive, just decent enough) install base, it's highly doubtful that the game will be exclusive. The only thing MS can blackmail Disney with is Windows PCs. You think MS will put in contract that Indiana Jones has to be exclusive or all Windows PCs and MS Offices in the Disney HQ will be shut down? Thats ridiculous. The Mouse these days is not the Mouse of PS2 era. PS2 era and before, the Mouse was really good, what with making movies like Lion King and all + having a bit of principals. It's super greedy right now and even more buy happy than MS. It owns around 50%+ of Hollywood and drives almost all competitors to the ground. A real Scrooge the Mouse is at the moment, unfortunately.

Nah Regarding the girl at the beginning:
-
Frankly, I agree with the statement, only in this specific case. They cannot confirm anything as of now - even if Bethesda acquisition goes through. In this case, it will all depend on console sales and future negotiations. This is simply because there is a Granddaddy called Disney behind this. Sony could get away with Spiderman exclusivity because PS4 was dominant last gen + They had leverage with Spiderman Movie Deals. MS/Bethesda have no such leverage, and console sale numbers are also up in the air. It would be a very bad thing if they insist on exclusivity now and Disney tears the IP away from them. Hence, why I always prefer studios to do original IPs. Unlike 3rd Parties, there will be no baggage attached to them.

Did you play Yakuza 6 before this? Spoilers for Yakuza 6, which explains situation Major Spoilers for Yakuza 6 Story: Also regarding Ichiban BTW did you see this video? It's hilarious and so much on point lol
-
Bhai, there's still 1 month left before you are even able to start the game. People ask for tips and stat builds when they are playing the game, not making notes 1 month in advance.
