Yes I've started playing, but only a bit. My impressions till now: 1) This is a visual novel. There is strategic combat, but it's not the main focus and till where I am, it's quite easy (Though keep in ming I'm still early in the game) 2) The story I've seen till now is very interesting. It will definitely keep you hooked. Note, there are multiple characters (around 13 I guess, didn't count) and all are MCs. They have their own stories and all lead up to the central plot. The battles that happen, happen in the future - where all MCs are acquainted with each other. In the story mode, this is not the case as it happens in the past. Also there is time travel. 3) There are tons of homages to various sci-fi films. Just from the prologue, I've seen story beats that pay tribute to E.T., Men In Black and The War of the Worlds. This is in just the Prologue. Overall, I'm loving the game, though I've not started dedicatedly playing it (Busy with RDR2 on PC). Till where I've played, it's really great.

Lol why didn't you tell your specs first? I thought you were still using a GTX 970 - which is miserable for 1440p. If you're using a 1660 Super, then from the benchmarks I'm seeing, you should get around 60-65 fps on high (not ultra) on RDR2 (which is the current most demanding I know of) with i7 8700K CPU. So getting a 1440p monitor should be fine. Well, it's his choice (and yours if you're going to "upgrade" monitor as well). If you want to see a drastic performance degrade, you can keep same GPU. I had a GTX 970 as well when I got a 1440p monitor. It was horrendous. Monitors will only do native resolution well. They cannot handle lesser resolution. A 1080p monitor will be far superior to a 1440p monitor running a 1080p program. Heck, even desktop will look bad at 1080p in a 1440p monitor - forget about games (which are a nightmare). A GTX 970 is a 1080p 60 fps card. It's not a 1440p card. You will either have to scale down graphics drastically or you will have to get at least a Pascal Card (GTX 1070 onwards) if you want to maintain some semblance of performance. And I'm taking Witcher 3 as a benchmark - which I tried when I first got 1440p monitor. Forget about games like RDR2 and other such stuff which requires even more performance. Any "Upgrade" to monitor requires GPU upgrade as well. Monitor is a display. Upgrading display requires upgrading power as well. A similar comparison will be playing an SD PS2 Game on a 4k OLED Screen. Absolutely bad. Also why I said to try for HDMI Switcher first. You can get it for really cheap and it will allow you to connect multiple machines to the HDMI Slot and switch between then with a remote control button.

There is an in-game award for dating everyone and an in-game award for dating no one and friend-zoning everyone. There is no in-game award for picking one and staying loyal. I hope you understand the developers intent

If you are going for 1440p monitor, keep it for PC and while you're at it get a new GPU as well. AFAIK you have a GTX 970. That's not going to cut it. Game performance is going to reduce drastically in a 1440p monitor. With a 1440p monitor, you will get pathetic FPS with your 970. And a 1080p game in 1440p monitor is just absolutely, pathetically bad. Please don't subject yourself to that. Monitor upgrades and GPU upgrades go hand-in-hand. Either get a HDMI Switcher for your current PC monitor and see if that works (Can switch both PC and PS4 signal with a remote, if it works and it's pretty cheap), get a dedicated 1080p monitor for PS4 Base or (Only if you have a PS4 Pro/PS5) get a 4k monitor and use it dedicated for PS4 Pro/PS5. Console does all the checkerboarding and the monitor will pick up the proper 4k resolution.

PSA: For those on Windows 10, after the December update, RDR2 seems to be running on very low volume on PC. This is even if your system sound volume is set at 100 and everything else is screaming in your ears. If you're facing this issue, go to Sound Settings- Advanced Sound Settings. You can see the volume of each program switched on here individually. You will usually find RDR2's game volume set at either 8 or 25. Drag it to 100 for the proper sound volume. You'll have to do this every time you shut down and restart the game. Hope this helps

No, a 1080p monitor of 32"-46" will be far too stretched out. 24" is the max ideal for 1080p in monitors. Pixel Density will make 1080p monitors appear blurry and completely smudged on larger screen sizes. 27" monitor is ideal for 1440p IMO. @PhantomShade Avoid playing a PS4 on 1440p monitor. TVs can upscale images. Monitors lack that facility. I've seen 1080p stuff on 1440p monitor (Not cnsole but 1080p games). It will lead to plenty of screen tearing and all around absolutely pathetic performance. If you want to play a PS4 (Base) on a monitor, get a 1080p monitor. You can get IPS diaplay ones for pretty cheap. That will give you a far better quality than forcing a 1080p image on a 1440p monitor. Downscaling is absolutely pathetic.

CDPR made a full-on enhanced edition for both Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 which improved those games drastically. Thy also gave it for free to all owners. They just have to channel their early day energies here and do the same. This is only CDPR's 4th game (6th if you count Gwent and Thronebreaker). There should still be plenty of Pioneer energy left, unlike EA/Ubisoft and all - who are just too old.

I have a Sony Gold Headset Version 2 (Latest one manufactured after the Platinum, unfortunately AFAIK platinum V2 never came out). The main advantages are: 1) It's a really amazing headset. I'm still using it to this day, and the sound quality is awesome. 2) Sony will create apps and custom profiles for it's exclusives. Some 3rd Parties will also create Profiles for their games. Advantages of this is the devs will tune the headset to how the sound should be heard for their specific games. It's really amazing. Do note that not all devs will do this, only some do. That said, I don't use the headset for anything outside Playstation. I use Audio Technica ATH M50X for all my PC and Music needs. So I can't comment on how it will function outside of Playstation.

Medium is always better than light. The damage difference between the too levels is quite high. That said, AoE Damage is only worth it if you are facing 3+ mobs. If you are facing less than 3 mobs, always use Single Target Skills of the highest level individually on all targets.. It's the most efficient SP-wise. Speed up battles if the enemy is far too weak for you. That said, a handy way to see what level you need is to see the level of the mobs. There will always be a mob with a red aura. If you are able to recruit that - that means you are at a high level for the palace, and it will be a breeze. Otherwise, look at the levels of the mobs at the end of the Palace (Non-Red Aura). If your levels are in that range, you are fine for the Palace. AFAIK anywhere between 25-30 is fine for Kaneshiro's Palace (The Red Aura mob was around level 29 I think - which means at that level, you are over-levelled and it will be very easy). Looking at net now, 26 is the perfect level for the Palace, neither too high, nor too low. Fusion need not be confusing at all. Just get the Strength Confidant done (a bit later on - it will clue you in on some important story aspects + is necessary to create Ultimate Personas of each Arcana). After that, just use "Fuse by Results", it will show you what you can fuse at the moment, along with the requirements for each ultimate Persona (Like say the Highest of the Fool Arcana for example). See only the 1st link to level Strength. I only gave you the Calculator if you felt like playing with min-maxing (Not necessary on Normal, but must on Harder Difficulties) However, you need not take tension now. You're still in early game (Yes, not even in mid-game yet), so take your time and enjoy it.

Get Ryuji's Confidant to Rank 7, so you can 1 shot mobs without entering battles by ramming them with your vehicle (you will still get exp, money, items and other rewards of battle) Do strength Confidant. You will get tons more Persona Fusion Options, including ability to fuse 3 or more Personas, Train Personas to remove their weaknesses, recruit High Level Personas and more. Haikyuu is absolutely amazing. Finished 3 Seasons quickly and watched Season 4 on weekly basis as it was airing at the time. Story is not yet complete and I can't wait for Season 5. In fact, I'm contemplating reading the manga to finish the story. Only held back by the fact that Haikyuu will not be as good in manga form, since it depends on Sports and Action. The interview did not mention how long antibodies last. Just that 2 doses will be enough. Perhaps it might be enough permanently? I don't know - we don't take Polio Vaccines throughout life do we? He was very clear though - The Vaccine will not prevent you from catching Covid at all. Just that it will reduce the severity for everyone and make it asymptomatic, so there will be no hospitalizations at all. They have also already tested and taken approvals from all labs throughout various countries (I forgot the name of the Indian govt. lab mentioned, sorry) As far as public domain - it will come out later maybe? He also mentioned upfront that he was very confident in the vaccine, to the point that he will take it himself once the final approval comes in and post it on the net. He's also sunk in truck loads of money (which we wil never see the likes of in our lives), so that might inspire confidence in us maybe? Saw an interview with Ardha Poonawalla (Head of Serum Institute) on India Today Yesterday. Some key points: 1) Oxford/Astra Zeneca Vaccine is ready. They are waiting for final licences from Indian Govt. now. 2) Vaccine will be given in 2 doses. After the 1st dose, 2nd dose will have to be taken after a gap of 2-3 months for maximum efficacy 3) After taking vaccine, you can still get Covid 19. It's not like you will never get it. However, all cases will be rendered asymptomatic for everyone who has taken it. There will be no severe symptoms or hospitalizations. In all their tests, there was 0% Hospitalizations. 4) Vaccine can handle all strains of Corona currently and possibly even in the future. They studied the nature of the mutations and found out the mutation patterns were minor, which the vaccine could handle. 5) Modi had visited their factories and had given them help when required. Initial distribution will be through Govt. 6) Initial Distribution will be through Govt. for priority people including medical/front-line workers and people most at risk such as the elderly. Costs through Govt. Distribution is approximated to be $3 per dose ($6 for complete 2 doses) 7) By April, vaccine availability will be so wide-spread that everyone (Including general Public) can get it. You would be able to get it at chemist stores also. This will be through Private Distribution and not Govt. You have to do the confidants. Everyone has a reason as to why they are doing things. Everyone has their own story to tell. Including non-party members. You'll find out in due time if you do confidants. Their stories are actually great. There's a reason Confidants are such a hit in Persona 5 - even without Gameplay bonus
