  1. Wut? Why you getting a PS5 before XSX man? Wait for some more days....XSX will definitely be in stock. Leave PS5 for someone else.

Don't be a lay-about and clean the toilets which is everyone's dream career. Buy plant nutrients and use them on the plant in your room regularly. Later on, buy a console and play video games or buy a DVD and watch a movie that increases Kindness (among other stuff), go to theater and watch a movie that might increase kindness (or other stat depending on what's playing), do Sojiro's (Heirophant) Confidant. For more details on activities that will allow you to raise stats, see link - https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/persona-5-royal-social-stats-guide-how-to-increase-guts-charm-knowledge-proficiency-and-kindness/ @adity Sun Confidant raises Charm, not kindness. A Politician teaches you how to rile up people, shake them up for more things, brainwash them to join your side, be Charming to get what you want etc. The very last thing you learn from a Politician is "Kindness" lol. That said, @PhantomShade Sun is one of the confidants that's necessary to do if you want to make your life easier. Highly recommended. Work in the Beef Bowl Shop 2 times at night if you want to start his confidant. Be warned: The deadline to finish his confidant is the earliest so it's best to do it as and when it becomes available.
  3. What the heck is in "Lockdown" anyway? Airports are open, restaurants are open, malls are open, buses are running, rickshaws and taxis are running, theaters are open, people are roaming happily; only trains are limited and schools are closed I guess. Other than a statement - where the heck is the lockdown

I would suggest you set all allies to Direct Command. You will need to strategize, use moves and act according to situation. For example, setting up Baton Pass Chains by continuously exploiting weaknesses, save SP when in need etc. It makes life far more simple if you manage everyone and not rely on AI Luck, even with custom settings. For easy SP Items, you will need to do confidants, i.e Socialize with people. Confidants give tons of in-game benefits, in addition to telling their story and characterizing them well. For SP get the Death Confidant (Doctor) to Rank 7 ASAP and buy SP Adhesive 3 Accessory. It might be expensive, but it's well worth it. It will restore around 7 SP per turn. So if you equip it on Joker for example, each time his turn comes up - he will get 7 SP. If you equip it in your entire party - everyone will get 7 SP each time their turn comes up. You can also link up the Heirophant Confidant which will sllow you to kake coffees, which are SP restoring items (You can only level up Heirophant to Rank 4 till 4th Palace). You can buy SP Restoring items from the vending machines throughout the city. You can also get them as drops from shadows in palaces or if you shake them down for items. Try to complete Palaces in 1 visit. You will need the extra time for all the other stuff like Confidants, Raising your status (Knowledge, Charm etc), side activities etc. These are absolutely necessary and will also make the rest of the game, including palaces easier and more fun. Ob and when you're talking to someone to increase confidant level, have a matching Persona in Joker's arsenal. For example, if talking to Ryuji, be sure Joker has a Chariot Persona in his load-out. A tip: try to get the Party members, Sun, Fortune, Death, Temperance, Star and Councillor Confidants as soon as possible. You might not understand this now, since you just started, but you'll thank me later when you get to that part. There's too much stuff to do and explain, so some tip links: https://www.pushsquare.com/guides/persona-5-tips-and-tricks-for-phantom-thieves-of-all-skill-levels https://gameranx.com/features/id/195346/article/persona-5-royal-9-crafty-tips-to-become-an-ultimate-phantom-thief-beginners-guide/ If you want to see some of tge best Confidants (Spoilers): https://www.thegamer.com/persona-5-best-confidants-in-game/ Hope this helps

Able to enjoy the turn based combat? Also, yup the game is very long. You're looking at 100+ hours to 120+ hours easily depending upon your play-style and what you do. Oh and please, if you purchased on Indian PSN - Play on Indian PSN and not on US/UK/HK/SG or any other account. Too many people sad about not receiving free themes after playing on another account. You will get 1 set of themes (Includes 3 themes and avatars) each after you complete 1st Palace (Palace of Lust), 4th Palace, final palace and platinuming the game (after syncing the trophies ofc). Since you've already beaten the 1st palace, if you've synced the trophies, you should have already received the 1st set of themes on the "Promotions" Tab or "Spam" Tab of the email which ws used to purchase the game. Or if you've not received it - you'll get it by tomorrow most probably I think. They don't take long at all.
  6. Why? Monopoly by Sony = More Competition needed; Monopoly by MS = Big Win for Gamers? People can either support competition or monopoly. If they argue for competition, they cannot support monopoly whichever party does it.
  7. Too early to call and depends on contract. Starfield was announced long ago and if Bethesda made a contract with all platform holders for release (can be possible while doing such stuff as taking support from platform owners for technical help, financial help and other stuff.) then there is a possibility of day and release. It would be stupid of MS - True, but only Bethesda, Sony and MS knows how their hands are tied. Possibility of same for ES6 as well - provided they made any contracts. Any absolutely brand new projects that will come up on their minds from now on - that will certainly be exclusive. What I can bet on is that Zenimax's Orion - Cloud streaming solution that reduces lag while streaming a game, played heavily in convincing MS to buy Zenimax.

Did you check the "Promotions" Tab or "Spam" Tab in your registered email? It will not be there in your normal inbox. The pre-requisite (If you purchased from Indian Account), is to have played on your Indian account though.
  9. A Tip: You'll get Business Management in Chapter 5. Do it immediately if possible. It's fun, and you will need cash. You'll finish the mini-game (No. 1 ranked company) with around 11-14 million yen, which will help you a ton with equipment upgrades. After getting to No. 1 you can keep on withdrawing 3 million yen whenever you want/short of cash. It'll make your life a lot easier, and you will need a ton of cash soon enough.

Great, now try to get the in-game rewards and also beat the 2-3 new optional bosses in NG+. That's where your main challenge is going to come from. Plat of P5R was made deliberately easier to give out the themes to everyone. It's no challenge. Plat of Base P5 was much harder. And getting the in-game awards of P5R is harder still.
  11. You have to play with a controller. This game is not well optimized for KB+M. But even with that - I would still suggest you play it. It's seriously a great game. If you have any controller on hand (Steam, 3rd Party, PS4/X1/X360 - Anything) just play it. Heck getting a cheap 3rd party controller just for this game is not bad as well.
  12. You've not played Nier Automata yet Joe? Forget that stupid video and play it. Seriously, it has one of the best stories that will play with your mind, absolutely amazing gameplay combining various genres together in a manner not seen till now and one of the absolute best soundtracks in all mediums period. It's a really amazing game and one of the games that defined this generation.
  13. And go through the entire song and dance again? I can see it now - PS5 Pro/Series X Pro stock mai nahi hai saab. 1 lakh if you want Grey. Or you can settle for "base" Ps5/Series X. At that time - your advise will be wait for PS6? When will the wait ever end ?
  14. Get P5R immediately. It's not a part of PS+ Collection (That's base P5 which is kind of like a demo version now) and there will not be a huge performance jump between PS4 and PS5 - so you can play it immediately. I will also say get FF7 Remake, on TVs it's gorgeous and there's no need to wait for PS5 remake for this as well. Also get Nier Automata: game of the YoRHa Edition on PS4, unless you are comfortable playing with a controller on PC. The game runs best with a controller. On PC get Doom Eternal immediately if you are a fan. For everything else, pass or just wait. Control is an RTX show-piece, so it should only be experienced on next gen console or on RTX Card (If you get it). Days Gone runs miles better on PS5 and is a part of PS+ Collection - when you buy PS5 you will get it for free. Monster Hunter is great if you want to co-op, so that depends on your preferences.
  15. *If it comes out* CDPR's house is on fire currently. They have pour water on the Cyberpunk flames first. They have no time to bother about a 5 year old game going on discount bins everywhere at this point. Nor have they announced that they are making a port of Witcher 3 anywhere. As of right now, and for the foreseeable future - PC is the best for Witcher 3.
  16. If you have a decent PC - Witcher 3 is must play over there. By decent PC, I mean if you have a GPU of say GTX 1070 or equivalent (1440p) or 970 equivalent (for 1080p). It's really amazing over there. Game is pretty much locked 60 fps with multiple settings not seen on any console. At Ultra, to this day, game is absolutely beautiful. Especially the 2nd DLC - Blood and Wine. There are multiple graphics settings that are not there on consoles - so they will not be there on SX version as well. 2nd best option would be Series X (One X BC). But going for this option - buy the DLCs, seriously. The story and especially the DLCs are the main draw of the game. In fact, the DLCs are even better than the main game. PS5 version (PS4 BC) would be equivalent. 3rd best is the current gen premium consoles (PS4 Pro/One X) One X will have an advantage here. 4th best (i.e. Worst) is the base consoles of this gen (PS4 Base/ One S)
  17. OK, so I've completed the game, and my final impressions: First things first - Do Not Play this game if you've not played Yakuza 6. I don't know why no review mentioned this and why SEGA Marketing did not touch upon this. This game serves 2 functions. First it's an introduction to a new series and new characters. 2nd it's a conclusion to all the old stuff. Yakuza 6 ended The Dragon of Dojima - Kazuma Kiryu's story. This game ends the story of the 2nd main protagonist, i.e. The Tojo Clan of Kamurocho. As such certain events happen at the end chapters that make sense only if you've played and completed Yakuza 6. If you have played Yakuza before, finish Yakuza 6 before starting this. If you're looking to get into Yakuza Series for the first time with this game - be prepared to be confused a lot and ignore some major stuff that happens in the later chapters and just think of it as a Deus Ex Machina. From the next game on, it will most probably be completely new with the characters introduced in this game. This game serves as an introduction to those characters and does it well. Now as for the game itself: Story: The story will seem very disjointed in the beginning. There are too many things going on that seemingly do not have much connection to each other. As such, in the beginning it will seem like you are doing grunt work and story might be confusing in the sense of "Why am I doing all this?" This will last till mid-game. But after that, around Chapter 9/10 onwards, the story will start to make a lot of sense. You will see how everything is connected and it will be very fun. Story is very good. It does not reach the heights of Yakuza 0 or Yakuza 5, but it's still absolutely great. Characters: This is one of the most fun aspects of the game. The characters are really great. We have a homeless person, an alcoholic and womanizing detective (who still has a heart of gold), a hostess and many more (Can't say about others as it will be spoiler territory). Their interactions are great. The star of the show however is Kasuga Ichiban, the MC himself. I liked him. He's not like stony Kiryu, suave Majima (Yakuza 0), mad Majima (Other Yakuza Games), Akiyama, Saejima or anyone else. Ichiban is a big fan of video games - Dragon Quest especially. On top of that, he is delusional, imagining himself a DQ Hero and all the various thugs and others as monsters of a DQ game. He's also a chill and funny guy. A joy to play as and see his story. SEGA also added a bond system like in Persona 4/5 (Including Personality level like Charm level etc.) All characters have their own personal story that's only available via their bonds. But the bond quality is not equal to what was in Persona 5. Persona is the master of that system and it shows. Combat: The turn based combat is fun, provided you play it rationally. In other words, don't run into every weak mob you see. That will get you burnt out. Rather, pick fights only when you need to (For Story, sub-story, mini-game etc.) or feel like it. Don't overdo it. Second is, pick your job carefully. In the beginning, combat will be very easy. Any job will do and you will feel like taking high damage jobs just to get things done quickly. But by the time you start the late mid game, you are going to need to think what you are going to do in combat. Enemies, and especially bosses, will no longer be a push-over. The proper mixture of support jobs, damage jobs, tanking jobs, healing jobs will save you a lot. Point to note is - you can change jobs at any time from the employment agency so long as you fulfill it's requirement. But each jobs have their own levels (Different from character levels) and each of your characters will only be able to level 1 job to acceptable levels by end game. If you try to keep on jumping hoops and switching jobs - you will be screwed at end game when your job level is not enough and you don't have the required useful skills of the jobs unlocked. Not to mention, the Employment Agency will also not be always accessible depending on story. There is a strategic component to jobs. Each job plays differently and it's useful to see what each job does, play many jobs in the beginning (without progressing the story) and then commit to one job till the end. City and Stuff to Do: This is where the game truly shines. There are tons of side-quests, mini-games and other fun stuff. The city truly feels alive. Management is one of the new games introduced. In this, you take a small bakery and make it grow into the No. 1 company in Yokohama. To do this, there are tons of stuff like hiring proper employees and ensuring they are in jobs that are suitable for them, expanding your business sensibly by acquiring side businesses and other stuff that will help you, sell off all the dead weight businesses and get rid of employees who are a burden, run your own ad campaigns (Yes there are proper animated ads for you as well), canvass for donations and investments and answer your shareholders etc. The mini-game has it's own story that is excellent and gives bonuses that can be used in the main story that are very useful (in addition to all the money a Managing Director earns of course). It's one of the most fun games in the entire Yakuza franchise. In addition to that, they have ported a rip-off of Mario Kart here, which is also very fun. There are tons more, but it will be too long to write about everything. In addition to this, there are sub-stories that are very fun and genuinely heart warming - making the city feel like your home. There are also tons of shops that allow for things like customizing your weapons, buying really innovative stuff etc. It's all really great. CDPR should learn from Yakuza how to make a city. That's about all I can think of for now. Overall, it's a great game. If I've got to give it a rating, I would give it an 8/10. A very fine game, but not a the best Yakuza game or a legendary game.
  18. AC Games are completely different now than what they were in AC 1 and 2. AC Syndicate was the last off the old style AC Games. For now, I would suggest just play AC Valhalla. Then play AC Syndicate when you are free later. For the rest, just google the modern day story if you are interested. All AC Games are huge with a lot of padding. If you try to play all - you will get burned out very fast and most probably quit AC for life.
  19. Remember "WoRldWide LaUnch in 40 Countries" - This is your launch lol. 10 consoles for the entire country won via lottery and they call it a "Launch". And people think this kind of launch affects US Stocks and Sales lol
  20. The ATH M50X is amazing when gaming on PC. Still using it to this day - it's really great. It's only the PS4 that makes it a miserable affair (Haven't used it with X1 so can't say about that).
  21. On PS Consoles, all headsets except the official ones are miserable. I tried the Audio Technica ATH M50X with PS4 - it was a bad experience with very low quality sound and even some minor beeping sounds in intervals. A friend of mine tried the Sennheiser HD 599 and it was also the same miserable experience. The PS Gold v2 Headsets on the other hand, functioned flawlessly and gave some really mind blowing sound on the PS4. If PS5 follows the same trend, expect the Pulse Headset to sound absolutely mind blowing while all other headsets, including the highly premier ones to be equally mind-blowing on the opposite side of the spectrum i.e. "How the heck can it be so bad"
  22. Not to mention - as soon as you buy a PS5 and subscribe to PS+, you will get access to around 18 games - which includes many (not all) of the major exclusives of PS4. In addition to that there will be 2 PS5 games for PS+ as well - rounding off to 20 games. Considering PS+ is only 3000 Rs/annum (normal price, when not on sale) - it's well worth it If you've skipped PS4, there is no point waiting. PS5 prices will not reduce drastically (maybe 1000 Rs here and there) unless they go for a Pro version or something after 3-5 years (But that is like skipping RTX 3080 because RTX 5080 will come in 3 years (That too in console case it's "maybe", not "guaranteed" - in other words, no point in waiting).
  23. BTW is the souq site shut down completely? The link was souq.in right? Tried it just now and it's redirecting to some strange site called cochinshoppers.com which is selling really random stuff like cars, sarees and footware?

Dude wait till you start doing sub-stories with the 2nd character on the 2nd city. That is totally, absolutely bonkers and make the example you posted look sane and just OK lol.
