Forbidden Forest is the most nerve wrecking area in a game for me. I simply run there

The area is creepy, but the boss of that area is ridiculously easy. I think everyone found that boss easy.
Also regardong creepy, there were more creepy areas later as well.

@adity I would not look too much into it. AFAIK Amazon lists a lot of things. And many of those do not end up happening. Not to mention, Miyazaki and From Software are busy with Sekiro - Shadows Die Twice and that VR game. And Sony is busy with it's other projects (Spiderman, TLOU2, Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding). So BB2, if it does happen will not come for a long time. I would not be surprised if BB2 is a PS5 title.

@CarbonCore Lol noob needing 2 players for Amelia. Here's mine
And my video for the so called very difficult boss here (Was my first try for this one)
SpoilerI and my trustly Saw Cleaver were the best of buds, slicing off everyone along the way (Later joined by Kirkhammer)
But yeah, I found some of the other bosses (like the one of the area NeoZ mentioned) extremely difficult. I think this was one game, where the bosses difficulty was personal. Some were universally easy, some were universally hard. And of the remaining, all players found different bosses difficult.
I saved up these videos, because beating bosses in BB, especially the hard ones, is just so rewarding and memorable.
Man, here we are boasting about bosses after 2 years from playing the game, and still feeling good. Saw these videos after 2 years, and still felt good. What a game BB was.
@Walker Nice; First NNK was far better than 2 according to me. The story actually hit people in the feels. And Studio Ghibli was just amazing. NNK 2 suffered a lot for their departure. And the gameplay in NNK 1 was very fun as well.

Tried to cheese djura a few more times. Every time it wouldn't work and I would panic and die.
Finally, I'd has enough and resolved to beat him fair and square. Got a couple of hits in and the stupid f**k just fell down for no reason.
Beat every enemy uptill the door which leads to whatever boss and unlocked 2 shortcuts. Ended up with 20k blood echoes and 22 blood stone shards. Levelled up to 28 and got my hunter axe up to +3 and got the ashen hunter set.
All in all, old yharnam was quite difficult. The huge church(?) with a shite ton of the wolves and the witch type things wearing rags was very terrifying. My heart was beating like crazy in that area.
Will try the boss tomorrow.
@Walker You should give the game one more chance. Having a blast with the game. Even at office, I keep thinking what I'll do in the game when I get home. It has never happened to me before.
I can help you beat cleric beast if you want.
Ah the game has well and truly sunk it's fangs into you. This is what I (and I imagine almost all players of this game) felt in 2015.
You are going to enjoy the Old Yharnam boss bro. Don't worry. It's very simple. Enjoy it

Just try not to break your controller or TV. There are far more difficult (and easy) bosses up ahead.
@Walker Ni no Kuni 1 or 2?

Jurassic Park fallen Kingdom kaisi hai?
If you have a 4DX screen near you, go for that. This movie benefits from 4D. The movie itself is average. Very minor spoiler, to keep in mind and form your opinion:
SpoilerAt least half of the movie takes place in a mansion, and that really takes away from the movie and makes it feel bad. A good dino movie needs to be on an island, or open space with terrain. Seeing only 1-2 dinos at a time in a cramped up mansion makes the setting boring, and really cheapens it.

How long to complete it? Any good?
Not that long of a game tbh. Around 10 - 14 hours to beat the game. I got the best ending, I think. The game is pretty good. Story is also quite nice, though in no way exceptional or legendary. If you are into Platinum trophies or into 100% completion, getting it for this game is not hard, but extremely tedious, requiring you to replay chapters multiple times. I didn't do it.
The only reason to get it now (and only get the physical version, if you are getting it), is so you can beat it fast and sell it for almost full price later. I think the value of this game will drop later, so if you sell it, you will not get as much. But the cheapest, and best way to play it would be to buy and then sell. Or rent, if you have that option.

He says direct sequel and several years after DMC4. That also means it sets up after DMC1, 2 and 3
Story wise, actually it makes more sense for DMC 2 to take place after 4. DMC 2 end has Dante trapped in the underworld, riding the motorbike all around. And Dante and Nero being older can also be explained. So actually, it is a sequel to DMC 4 and DMC series, but it's a true sequel that shows events after 2 as well.

But Itsuno said its a direct sequel to DMC4. Also Nero has his own arm in DMC4 just demonized but not mechanical.
Didn't Itsuno say it was set "A long time after DMC4", or "several years after 4", not "a direct sequel to 4"?This does not exclude it from being after DMC2.

Isn't Dante immortal? How did he age like that? And why does Nero suddenly look like Thomas Muller?
If it is set after DMC 2, then Dante would have been fighting alone in the Underworld for a very long time. That might just be enough to age him. The fact that Dante shows up riding a bike even supports the idea that it's set after DMC 2

Yeah even more impressive is that suker punch were a team of 120 people back then and around 150 right now. So when people compare their or other Sony bend studios open world games with ubisoft or rockstar titles just remember those games are being worked on by 1000’s of people shared amongst multiple studios.
Frankly that can be a huge advantage. I would think it would be much more easier for a decent sized team who know and can interact directly with each other, and who share the same vision to develop a better game.
As opposed to 1000s of people all over the World, who have just been given a broad guideline by the Head Office, and forget about vision, in most cases don't even know what others are doing during simultaneous development. This kind of development only leads to the only absolutely safe plays and check-lists being ticked, leading to very average games as Ubi's high profile games etc generally are.
As they say, "Too many cooks spoil the broth"

Avoiding base consoles will be huge PR hit. They won't do that.
By funding, I meant from the Polish Govt., which seems to treat CDPR and Witcher games an national treasures. No platform owner will support ignoring base consoles while putting the game on Pro/X1X and PS5/X2X . 3rd party publishers will not support only next-gen either, since it makes no business sense. Actually, CDPR itself would be stupid to ignore the current gen.
@CarbonCore Generally, in next gen console cases, it's the first party games that start as exclusives for next gen consoles. Any 3rd party next gen only games happen at launch, only if a deal with a platform owner is made. In which case, it generally is an exclusivity deal as well. Since no exclusivity deal has been made, this is going to be a cross gen title, so long as the release date is on next gen console launch.
It's the console makers responsibility to establish an install base, before 3rd parties start to migrate to next gen only. 3rd parties only look to their revenue from the game.

at best it could be for Pro/PS5 & OneX/TwoX
It cannot even be that. Both Sony and Microsoft have laid down the rule that any game for Pro/X1X must be playable on base PS4 and base Xbox One as well. So yeah, unless they have received a massive funding or something, it's going to be a proper cross-gen title.

Anyone looked at the better quality video of this game? Damn it looks absolutely amazing. Both YT and Twich videos were of pathetic quality at the conference. Someone uploaded this, Last of US 2, Death Stranding Spiderman E3 trailers in 4k. I urge you to see it. It's absolutely stunning. The conference video was absolute BS, and this actually makes you wonder how such a game is even possible. Posting the other trailers in their respective game threads.

Game of the show for me. Those visuals are unbelievable for PS4.
So many questions still remain. Where is Joel? Who is the character debuted at last trailer? And the dance sequence looked from a time when the infection is over and everything is back to normal.
Joel is in this game I think. When Ellie was talking to that guy in the party, he mentioned that her old man had lectured him about patrols. Now, who could be Ellie's "Old Man" hmm?

At least gameplay was shown; although what was shown was a walking simulator.

Not sure how it works on consoles but on PC you can simply create a new account -> use the code -> switch back to the main account and continue playing.
There is no region or any kind of restriction.
Lol nice. I assume that oversight is something that will be corrected soon, once more content is launched on Gamepass to make it worthwhile (otherwise, what's stopping everyone from just taking advantage and continuously making $2 accounts). Anyway everyone can enjoy till it's there.

But won't creating a new account reset your saves and progress every month? That might not gel with multiplayer people I guess.

aleeady mentioned on games official page that the game takes place years after dmc4..
Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
Which does not tell us much since all DMC games except 3 take place after 4. If the game takes place after 2, then it's in the far future and furthest in the timeline. It can take the story forward. And it explains why Dante is so old.
-
Saw the trailer just now (couldn't stay up to see the MS conference and saw Beth E3 first). Frankly the trailer does not look bad at all. The level of detail is very high and it's surprising that they are maintaining 60 fps on the consoles (a must for these type of games). I would be very surprised if that 60 fps extends to base X1 and base PS4 as well.
People are speculating in YT comments that the game takes place after DMC2. If that's the case, then the change in looks of Nero and especially Dante is very much possible. BTW don't understand people's complaints much. Nero looks different, but Dante looks exactly like the older version of the lovable cocky guy we knew. Which is a good thing. At least they didn't go back to DmC Dante. Was worried at first that the new girl was Kyrie who had undergone drastic image and personality change. Good to see that's not the case.

Was just joking bro. I know co-op and invasions are one of the core mechanics of BB. And many players do need help in such games, so the community was really nice for helping, even eith the convoluted co-op bell summoning mechanic.
Same here as well. I was just posting video for memories sake. Looked at my boss kill vids after years (basically felt like seeing and sharing mine after seeing your video) and just felt nostalgic. It was a really fun time playing BB.
