  1. Started playing this game again. This has become much better now and performance issues though still present, are mostly ironed out. Hope they come out with a story dlc soon, as of the now they have added some skins / death animations only

    Resident Evil 4

Given this is the first RE game that I have ever played, something about the controls I just could not get - the character seems very sluggish to control and could not understand the inventory system. Am playing on PC & my frame of reference is with games like evil within 2, dead space. As of now, giving this game a pass

    Resident Evil 4

For some people like me who have never played Resident Evil games, will this be a good starting point? Liked the gunplay and atmosphere here. My reference for survival horror action games is Dead Space, Evil Within 2, Dead Space 2, Callisto Protocol. I find the RE 4 remake having similarity with evil within 2 in terms of gameplay & TPS view. Any guidance if this game is like Dead space, evil within?
  4. I hope given the poor reaction to the game and poor sales, they do not cancel the planned dlc. Also, hope that they can do some change to game combat mechanics in dlc.

    Dead Space

In case anyone is playing on pc, can you confirm if you are also seeing a lot of stuttering. I see a lot of stuttering every minute or so plus there is lot of variance in frame rates. I am playing on a gtx 1660ti and core i7 10th gen processor with 16 gb ram and game installed on ssd.
  6. The game was in an unfinished state when it was shipped, especially on PC. Further, the core gameplay of melee combat is rinse and repeat - dodge left, dodge right - rinse repeat. The Boss battles are also lop sided and not great (there is a mini boss who appears 4 times in the game, not sure why they could not introduce more variety here). That said - the graphics, character rendering, lighting and atmosphere are definitely great - though level design still left lot of issues for me. There were just some side rooms / additional areas in the game which were just literally empty rooms and had no use.
  7. Preload live now on steam / epic - 77.9 GB file size.
  8. Interested to see the recommended PC specs here. Am infact surprised that given harldy 8 days for launch, there is no information on PC specs till now

    Control 2

If still in concept stage than i think this won’t be out before atleast 5 years from now.
  10. Hope that they bring this and God of War Ragnarok to pc soon… hopefully in 2023 ?
  11. This looks awesome… in the second pic - what are the the 2 figures on the right?
  12. Would have loved to try the single player campaign. Liked the single player campaigns of CoD MW1 & 2 along with Black Ops1. But then stopped purchasing COD games after these. However, this campaign seems to be good basis some early reviews
  13. Same here. Fortunately got it at earlier lower price. This game looks good. Has a sort of evil within 2 like feel in terms of atmosphere and combat
  14. I guess someone else also asked earlier on the forum, what are the additional goodies one gets by buying digital deluxe edition on steam instead of standard edition? If it is only related to some cosmetic items, then will not buy deluxe edition.
  15. I am looking forward for getting this on pc. Played 3 earlier pc ports of sony and those were really good from single player campaign experience perspective - horizon zero dawn, god of war & days gone. Not sure if they are adding some additional content in remake / remaster whatever it is. Given their focus on single player experience, this would definitely be a day 1 buy for me.

    STARFIELD

I hope they live up to the hype given that they have shown the gameplay and do not change things in another 1 - 1.5 odd years in which the game will be released. I am ok with the graphics part but not sure if this sort of game required first person view. I was surprised with the gun play though, hope it has a good single player campaign. I have not played any of the fallout games.

    Control

Got it from Epic store. Started playing on my Rig. Some points that i notices on game - 1. There is a texture loading issue / bug in the game (atleast on pc version). Sometimes the textures and environment in the game look washed out and down right ugly 2. No variety in terms of enemies. They are all just the same. As mentioned the Boss fights are also not that great. The monologues which the main character keeps on having with her self are monotonous and bore - nowhere near Max Payne. 3. Upgrades and mods system is a pain. 4. I am trying to play it Max Payne style utilising my Gun more than the abilities; miss the Bullet Time mechanism though. Glad did not spend on the game
  18. No campaign means skip from my side. But do agree with what Battlefield devs said - “game is known more for multiplayer than campaign” and this helped them to focus on MP resources rather than SP campaign
  19. Rekindling this old thread - as per IGN - Uncharted 4 is coming to PC . Link - https://www.ign.com/articles/uncharted-4-pc-playstation-announced
  20. If they are taking a break, how I wish they bring in a reboot of Quake with single player campaign... last was Quake 4 which was a looooooong time ago...
  21. Has anyone started playing DLC 2? I had completed the base game on nightmare but took a break from game and forgot all basics and controls. Got my a&@ handed over to me in first 15-20 mins odd in dlc 1 which where battles were way more hard. Had to lower the difficulty to complete dlc 1. Is DLC 2 also that hard? Need to play the game for enjoyment not harassment...[emoji53]
  22. Cool [emoji106]. Though somehow I like EW2 more than EW1. The sense of openness in maps and varied levels / gameplay make it bit better according to me.
  23. Finally, gave in to itch and got RDR2 in winter sale on steam. Was looking for either this or Cyberpunk 2077 as both of them are big open world games. But looking at the scathing reviews and gameplay bugs in cyberpunk, finally bit the bullet and got this. Only problem as of now seems that download size is HUGE!
  24. Extremely scathing review. I was still thinking of buying it after the bugs are ironed out but this seems like a mess that is too much for CPDR to clean...[emoji52]
  25. I still somehow like the Doom -2016 reboot compared to Eternal. Don’t get me wrong, Eternal is an awesome game; but somehow i find it’s “arcady” nature a bit too much for my liking - guns floating in air, obstacles floating in air around which to jump etc. Further, i think the platforming in some levels like cultist base and few others was a bit too much - the 2016 entry was more focussed and went into action straight away. I also like the music in 2016 entry more that Eternal especially tracks like BFG division, Vega core, necropolis guard ost etc. Where i like Eternal is focus on more lore and bit more varied environments. Both though are solid entries and enjoyed the games - though first one a bit more[emoji846]
